Don't bother calling, heck don't even bother texting. According to CNN, you can just send an ecard http://ping.fm/eGuZ7 What will they think of next?

I don't know why this is so amusing to me, but it just is. According to this there is some kind of comedic bias in favor of making fun of Palin.

Sorry, but if she weren't so dang easy to make fun, there wouldn't be such a bias. Of course, to demonstrate how easy it is to make fun of Palin, McCain says: "she is a gun-totting idiot destined to be the second Vice President in a row to shoot someone in the face" I love sound bites!

This is a repost of my opinion about the presidential debate that I posted over on my main blog.

I watched the debate last night on CNN HD. I think that Obama faired better than McCain in the grand scheme of things, but it all depends on what debate you were watching. I can say that the presidential debate didn't really get going until after they were done talking about the economy.

I think it's too early for either of them to really have a grasp about what's going with the bailout, since neither of them are involved with the negotiations. I do wish that they had had more of a sense of urgency, but I do appreciate that they wanted to have more information before taking action and making decisions.

The best part about the debate, was when Obama finally told McCain that he was wrong about Iraq. McCain couldn't argue back.

I think that Obama was too nice, and I think that his constant gracefulness with "John is right about that, he and I agree..." I think that Obama could've said that less. I also feel that McCain was condescending, he kept trying to argue that Obama "didn't understand" that Obama was showing his "naivete" and what have you.

I liked the part where McCain tried to show that he was more compassionate about the troops in Iraq because he had on a bracelet with a dead soldier's name on it. I loved how Obama said "I have a bracelet too" I just wish he had said the name of the fallen soldier quicker.

I think that of the two, Obama looked more presidential. I think that McCain came across like your old relative that constantly wants to show you how you're wrong and don't understand this or that but really is just desperate for attention.

Regardless of what the media and the polls say, last night's debate will do nothing to change people's minds. People that are decided, are just that and last night's debate just reinforces their decision to vote either way. The interesting part, will be to see what happens with the people that undecided.

Overall, my favorite part of the was watching what the analysts and the rest of the folks said after the debate was over.

Not surprisingly, Palin was nowhere to be found. She's simply too much of a risk to put in front of a reporter to provide her point of view. The last thing McCain needed last night was another "Miss South Carolina" moment from Palin, so they did the right thing and kept her away from the media.

It was funny how the one McCain staffer was already misquoting and twisting what McCain said and then Joe Biden immediately came back with corrections and all of the reporters agreed with Biden.

It made me wonder if the McCain staffer had watched the same debate that I watched. That's the beauty of spin I guess.

I love this TV show. It's on A&E and it's awesome. The episode that is on now, has demons on it, and it looks like they'll get some of the activity on film. Have y'all seen my ghost orb pictures?

I watched the coverage for the Republican national convention last night on the TV.

I started off on CNN, but the news reporters were all trying to show off how much they knew about this that and the other instead of actually talking about the convention and the issues. So, I switched the channel over to PBS and finished watching it there.

I was twittering the whole time I was watching the show. Here is part of my twitter the stream. My comments are in italics and my reasoning in regular print:

Are these people for real?

The CNN guys were really getting on my nerves, so I switched it over to PBS at this point. I realized why the CNN people were yapping and ignoring the convention speakers. The speakers were not making any sense, talking about how congress has destroyed the economy.

Ready to lead this nation to where? Lots of vague open ended sentences that let people fill in the blanks with whatever they believe

A speaker made the comment that McCain-Palin was the team to lead America, but conveniently neglected to mention where they would us to. It's really good stuff since they neglect to finish the thought, so people just fill in the blanks with whatever they believe.

We get it, McCain was a POW, move it along and tell me why anyone should vote for him?

The next series of speakers all said that McCain was a POW and this fact alone seems to be what qualifies him to be president.

There it is, he summoned 9/11

President Bush summoned 9/11 within the first 2 minutes of his speech.

Let's hope people really look at the experience & voting histories of the candidates and pick the best team to lead us into a better future

This is really the crux of the matter right here. Pick the best most qualified people to lead the country to a more prosperous and secure future.

Lazy Thompson is talking, the guy harldy ever showed up for any sessions, next

Fred Thompson spoke at this point. The was famous on Capitol Hill for never showing up to work. Then, he gave this really awkward speech that seemed like he was roasting McCain, rather than propping him up.

@bgreen indeed it has, people have a vested interest in distracting voters

This was a reply to one of my tweet peeps about my earlier comment about picking people based on their record.

No way?!?! McCain was in the military? He was a POW?!? I had no idea, why doesn't anyone mention this stuff? Thanks for the update Fred!

At this point, I was tired of hearing about McCain being a POW and about how horrible it was at the Hanoi Hilton. I'm not trying to discount his experience, I'm just saying that I feel that they need to move on from this point and seriously start putting some meat on the bones of why anyone should elect McCain.

Seriously, being a POW may show and build character, but it doesn't show me that anyone should vote for you. What have you done for healthcare, for education, for science and research? What have you done recently?

I've had enough of this http://twurl.nl/p6txgz from the RNC for the day

Right as Thompson was finishing up, I'd had enough. I was tired of listening to the malarky.

In a nutshell, I don't think they said anything that would sway someone's vote to McP ticket. I think they were just tooting their own horn and not really bothering to try to convince anyone that is undecided to teetering on the fence to come over to the McP camp.

Another thing that bothered me, was that Thompson, and just about every person that took the stage, was talking on about how the Democrats have grown the government to this huge level, and driven spending all out of proportion etc., etc. He fails to note that he was in congress during this whole run up and that the republican party held the majority in congress (House and Senate) as well as the white house.

Do they seriously think that people aren't paying attention?

Maybe no one is paying attention.

We're doing some renovations in my office building. Yesterday, one of the water pipes burst and started flooding my floor. It actually flooded into my server room. Fortunately, nothing got damaged but I did have to take all the servers offline for a couple of hours while the break was being contained.

Let's see what today has in store.

My office mate, who's Ukranian, just said "I have a headache in my eye!" How do you get a headache in your eye? Anyone know what she's talking about?

Look at the check that this guy got from Adsense. It's for $132,994.97 simply amazing. It's from this guy named "Shoemoney" who is an SEO person, or something along those lines. That's from one month, and it's also his biggest Adsense check ever.
