Myspace and One Little Indian are very happy to bring you
this great Christmas gift again! ....

Want to know more about these bands? Go visit our home at
www.indian.co.uk.....

It’s been a very busy year at One Little Indian but
definitely worth the hard work and we are all very proud to introduce you some
of our amazing artists and their most recent productions!....

.. ......

The All New Adventures of Us have just released their debut album
“Best Loved Goodnight Tales” where storytelling meets epic orchestral
instrumentation while Kill It Kid brings back the blues with their haunting,
unique soul deep sound that goes all the way down to the roots...be patient,
their debut album is expected next year!....

Inspired by his life on the road and the New York’s streets
atmosphere, Jesse Malin’s “Mercury Retrograde” captured the artist’s
performance at its best and “Leaving Babylon” is one amazing bonus song you
won’t be able to get out of your head just like Asobi Sesku’s poppy yet
brilliant “Me&Mary”, a little taster of their 3rd release that will be
coming out early next year.....

Another good reason to be excited by the year to come is
Official Secrets Act’s debut album that’s been preceeded by their acclaimed
single “So Tomorrow”, which B-side “Do Not Be alarmed” illustrates the band’s
incredible talent for catchy brit-pop melodies. For those who cannot wait ‘til
2009 Kelli Ali’s beautifully soothing “Rocking Horse” has just came out along
with Rose Kemp’s “Unholy Majesty”, a powerful, darkly poetic album. Chris
Bathgate has also delivered the critically acclaimed “A Cork Tale Wake”
demonstrating once again his unique ability to write folky, intimate songs
while the noisy yet very mature “Sticks and Stones”, Underground Railroad’s
second album will make you shake your head up and down restlessly. And last but
not least, the brilliant Canadians from Land of Talk prove once again with
“Some Are Lakes” that simplicity is often the most powerful way to our hearts
and ears........

.. ......

Go to www.myspace.com/onelittleindianrecordsand download
the songs
from our player (starting 19/12/08...mid-day) You can also download
the artwork for free
, and pack the whole thing for your friends and family.....

.. ......

We really hope you'll like it!....

Electric Arguments by The Fireman Is Finally Out

Download + Buy here (http://www.thefiremanmusic.com/purchase)

The Fireman's much anticipated third studio album Electric Arguments is finally out. Critics around the world have been raving about how great this new album is. For those who still don't know The Fireman is a collaborative project between music icon Paul McCartney and revered producer Youth. On Monday, this week (25th November), Paul visited The Fire Station pub in London to chat to the world's media about Electric Arguments. Talking about the new album Paul told the media, " We had creative freedom to make this album any way we wanted. It could have been very carefully considered but that wouldn't be The Fireman." Talking about working with Youth he added, "I like working with someone. I like giving up control. It's more fun than sitting in a room on your own all day."The big difference between this Fireman album and their previous works is that Electric Arguments includes vocals. The Fireman's first two albums were instrumental. On the decision to include vocals this time round Paul commented, "The first two Fireman albums were instrumental. Youth suggested to me, 'how about a bit of vocal?' And I said, 'well I haven't got any songs, I've got no idea'. And because it's The Fireman and anything goes, I said, 'yeah sure'. So I just ad-libbed it and eventually a song came out of it."Earlier this year, in September, it was announced that The Fireman would this year release their first brand new material in a decade and this time there was a big difference – the duo had found their voice. Speculation began; one studio insider was reported as saying the new songs sounds like 'Arcade Fire meets Led Zeppelin'. Certainly so far, anyone who has heard the album has commented on just how accessible Electric Arguments is, compared to the first two Fireman albums.Electric Arguments by The Fireman is an eclectic and varied album consisting of thirteen tracks recorded in thirteen days over the period of nearly a year. Each track was written and recorded in the space of one day. The Fireman went into the studio with no plan or clear direction of how they wanted the album to sound. The project took a life of its own and the results will surprise anyone expecting to hear the previous sound of the band. . Electric Arguments demonstrates that Paul McCartney is still interested in pure musical possibilities. This is an album set to both surprise and delight the listener. Made with no record company restraints or a set release date to work to, Electric Arguments was made with complete artistic and creative freedom.

Asobi Seksu New single is now out!

Following last year's rapturously received 'Citrus' (which spawned the fine singles 'Thursday', 'Strawberries' and 'Goodbye' and claimed glowing notices across the board), Asobi Seksu return early in 2009 with their fantastic and none-more-assured third full-length. Produced by Chris Zane (Les Savy Fav, The Walkmen), the album is preceded late this year by the swooping, emphatic single 'Me & Mary'. Backed by non-album track 'Breathe Into Glass', and rolling forth on a bed of drums and glistening guitars, it sees a soaring vocal performance from Yuki Chikudate (keys, vocals), who aside James Hanna (guitars) form the core of the band.
