hey folks

well, we finished this tour, alive and...i wouldn't say well..lets say it was a good time to finish, as both care and myself have little/no voice left..if we were touring a sunny locale, we'd be just fine i'm sure, but canadian winters+little sleep+harsh treatment of our bodies does a number on the vocal cords...but hey, we squeezed in just under the line and finished with what i think was one of our best/most fun hometown shows yet the other nite (saturday) at the sound academy....

(care may beg to differ, as she was unhappy with her vocal performance, but who woulda noticed with all the crazy shit going on around us--ie her firebird's head getting broken off, some beer showers being given/taken onstage, and oops, stacy's les paul head getting broken off......)... 

all in all, a costly show, but a fun one nonetheless...thank the guitar gods for waiting till the last show to take those 2 lives...right now though, lets have a moment of silence to remember them--care's beautiful gibson firebird, and stacy's beloved gibson les paul--and all the loud and fun times we had together.............sniffle.............sorry, had to wipe a tear away there.........

you both will be remembered dearly...any photos from this tour are much appreciated, as they will contain the last good times shared with care and stacy's little gibson friends....(gibson? you out there? a full-coverage endorsement couldn't come at a better time....and its almost christmas!)

so, out of respect for our loss, i won't elaborate much more on the tour here...

the other reason being, this video only takes us up to the ottawa/quebec part of the tour..there's much more footage that should/could be seen but they've been edited for us by/for Musiqueplus (french muchmusic), with the stipulation that they be kept to a 'pg-13' rating..fine and understandable, and i'm not complaining by any means, but all the debauched ongoings will be held safely for a one-day dvd release.....cool? this one's more about the behind-the-scenes stuff...often times less exciting than one would think! the last part is from an autograph signing/meet n greet for some radio contest-winners in quebec city...in most cases our male/female fan ratio is pretty even, though in this case, 9 out of the 10 winners were male...trying-very-hard-to-contain-themselves males who let loose a few hours later at the show....

so, needless to say, some more video will be posted in the coming days/weeks, and care and myself will sum up the tour at the same time, cool?

thanks to all for coming out though, and making our headliner a truly fun and successful time...

canada proved it has the balls and the hosting-skills to stand up to any european country (europe being known for the craziest and funnest crowds)....

we were happy to see this..and we look forward to crossing this massive land again in the near-enough future..one thing learned:
