Remind me to take notes next year or just make a Monthly End Review I can't for the life of me remember a bunch of stuff that may or may not be important to remember and reflect upon.  Hell I don't even remember if I made any goals last year or not.

..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I don't remember January at all really at least nothing of importance anyways.  Oh wait no that's right after I got my refund I bought my new DSLR camera and I joined the high end camera group.  W00T. To bad it would be some time before I would start taking pictures with it.  I sort of lost my interest and drive to take pictures at that time.

February and March were definitely not eventful just two months of work and sleep and people coming and going from work.  Seems like there are always people coming and going from work just some times too bad the people you want to leave the most don't.  But then those people are sort of related to the work so there is no getting rid of them.  Oh yeah I do remember something insane about February my foot injury oh yeah that was nasty as all get out nice chemical burn that laid me up for some time while it healed completely.

April well other than my OMFG 30th birthday I can't think of anything that remarkable about April either.  May rolled around and summer was upon us and I was starting to enjoy walking about the park area until god-damn-it another foot injury to the other foot which made it uncomfortable to walk long distances so gave up on walking about the park.  It's gotten better but sometimes it'll act up and I'll wobble about when I wake up for a while.  Then it happened, my grandpa passed away rather suddenly.  NO!   The worst part of the year by far. I miss him dearly because he was a great person and still full of life and everything else.  I know he is a great place tinkering about like he always was.

Then comes summer and with it another bad month. June and July brought me a busted up car door but with it a nice insurance payment that went promptly to pay rent to help out the roommate.  By the way have a I mentioned that since January the roommate really hasn't been working and I've been paying rent and the bills awaiting him to pay me back just as soon as he could.  Only to be given the "hey sorry man you know I'm good for it" speech.  The writing was on the wall, $1500 he owed me.  I should have seen it coming and gotten out earlier but oh well we learn as we go.  So anyway some time around here I also picked up new friends and a new handgun.  The new friends by way of Jay and the new handgun was a late birthday present to myself because I was wanting to get back into shooting (hadn't gone shooting since I moved to Boise five years ago).  So yeah May June and July were pretty busy months and time was just flying by actually since then it seems like time started going twice as fast.

Late summer was busy with work and friends and the normal day to day things with the roommate situation becoming seriously out of hand and I was getting pinched in the wallet hardcore and so was the landlord.  However late August became an awesome month because I started going with Scott to the local Autocross events.  This year I filmed two of the last public events and I have uploaded those videos along with other stuff that I've filmed in the past to YouTube. I love YouTube, I didn't always like it because you couldn't download the videos and they weren't in the best of quality all the times.  Of course now I know you can download the videos but holey crap there is a ton of cool shit on YouTube.  I also got my photography bug back as well.  Still need to work on some things and what not to get better action shots but hey the bug is back I just need to get my ass in gear and take more pictures.

October rolls around and I find out that my best friend living in ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Pocatello decided to get divorced from her miserable marriage.  Of course I'm happy for her because now she will be happier and healthier in life and will not be angry all the time like she was.  Another friend was thinking of getting divorced but I'm glad that they are working on their marriage and still working at saving it.   Also in October (I think it was then) I even started playing D&D now I never really thought all that much of the game myself but then I decided that hell it's a good way to hang out with friends and what not and thought I'd give it a shot and found out that I actually like playing it's not half bad.  I still don't get some of the stuff but I like hanging out with friends more.  I just can't wait until we start playing the Star Wars RPG though…I <3 Star Wars and everything Star Wars damn it.

Now we end with November and December nothing that I can think of important happened besides the total collapse of the roommate situation Both the landlord and I got fed up with the fucking douche-bag asshole roommate not paying any of his bills so it was decided at the end of November that he needed to leave.  The first week of December was great a nice lovely paid week off to just relax and relax I did.  Nothing to big there now it's just time running out on the year and the fucking douche-bag asshole roommate fighting his eviction from the house.  It's going to take time but it'll be well worth it when he is finally gone for good.

So a little less than 10 days tell the end of the year and the beginning a new one I have goals to make and things to do so I'll send you all off on a wonderful journey of your own for the next year and may it be filled with nothing but fun times and merriment all around.  Good luck and God speed.

My Rifle: The Creed of the USAMC Rifleman

This is my rifle.
There are many like it, but this one is MINE.
My rifle is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life.
My rifle without me is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.
I must fire my rifle true.
I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me.
I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will...
My rifle and myself know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire,
the noise of our bursts, nor the smoke we make.
We know it is the hits that count. We will hit...
My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life.
Thus, I will learn it as a brother.
I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories,
its sights, and its barrel.
I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage.
I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready.
We will become part of each other. We will...
Before God I swear this creed.
My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country.
We are the masters of our enemy.
We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until there is no enemy, but PEACE.
