Hi guys, how r u? Unfortunately the summer comes at the end, the vacations also, and usual problems restart... therefore we have returned with a new mission: SAVE THE WORLD!
At least we try it bringing some music and fun in the screens of your computers and as announced for a long time yet, the care is a myspace with new photos and with a new single entitled SONG FOR A WORLD CALLED EARTH, where there is really of everything and more :D
Besides our job in study for the recording of our album continues, for which we'll hold you in continuous updating, and our contest will continue at least up to the end of 2009, therefore you don't have excuses ahaha!
Finally we also remember our official forum to the address http://cecilythanks.forumcommunity.net/ where we wait you in so many; D So the last thing we can say is to have a good fun!

Bella regà, come va? L'estate purtroppo giunge al termine, le vacanze anche, e ricominciano i soliti problemi... perciò siamo tornati con una nuova missione: SALVARE IL MONDO!
Per lo meno ci proviamo portando un po' di musica e di divertimento negli schermi dei vostri computer e come annunciato già da tempo, la cura è un myspace con nuove foto e con un nuovo singolo intitolato SONG FOR A WORLD CALLED EARTH, dove c'è veramente di tutto e di più :D
Inoltre continua il nostro lavoro in studio per la registrazione del nostro album, per il quale vi terremo in continuo aggiornamento, e il nostro contest continuerà almeno fino alla fine del 2009, perciò non avete scuse ahaha!

Hi boyz & girlz! First we take this opportunity thanking you about all the many comments you left and we're pleased that our single Nightmares In The Darkness liked so much (except for Paco Myspace user ahah).
Meanwhile we inform you that our recording songs for our first CD began. We don't know about its name yet ... but we know that it will be full of tracks, one of the most cool, and that they'll make you dance and jump at the best :D
confirm to you...
In addition, one of these tracks will be a surprise maybe most of you already know... we leave you with the doubt.
As another taste of this album, finally ve announced that Song For A World Called Earth new single will come soon on myspace, we hope most of you'll listen and like it, title is a little philosophical but we are sure you'll enjoy the song XD

Ciao ragazzi! Innanzi tutto cogliamo l'occasione per ringraziarvi di tutti i commenti che ci avete lasciato numerosi e ci fa piacere che il nostro singolo Nightmares In The Darkness vi sia piaciuto molto (fatta eccezione per un certo Paco ahah).
Intanto vi informiamo che sono iniziate le registrazioni in studio delle canzoni per il nostro primo CD. Non sappiamo ancora quale sarà il suo nome..ma sappiamo che sarà ricco di brani, uno più fico dell'altro, e che vi faranno ballare e pogare alla grande :D a voi la conferma...
In più una delle tracce sarà una sorpresa che forse molti di voi già conoscono... vi lasciamo col dubbio.
Per darvi un altro assaggio di questo album, vi preannunciamo infine che presto sullo space arriverà un nuovo singolo che si intitolerà Song For A World Called Earth, spero che l'ascolterete in tanti e che vi piaccia, il titolo è un po' filosofico ma la canzone siamo sicuri che vi farà divertire XD

Nightmares in the darkness

Lead to false realities


They look at us in the lower side


With their white eyes


We try to run away from them


But it’s a paralyzing choice

I Cecily Thanks nascono a Roma circa un anno fa, con l'idea di (p)unire il rock e il punk con l'elettronica e la dance (o almeno ci provano); il tutto in una miscela pop. Dopo varie vicissitudini, oggi la band è formata da Marco Bianchini (voce), Alessandro Franzese (chitarra), Alessandro Pinna (basso), Michael Auteri (piano e synth) e Federico Chinni (batteria). Qualche volta c'è anche Mimmo alla fisarmonica (XD).
Attualmente stanno lavorando per un cd e il primo singolo, "Nightmares In The Darkness", lo potete ascoltare sul loro myspace. Ma le sorprese non finiscono qui...

Cecily Thanks were born in Rome about one year ago, with the idea to (s)combine rock and punk by electro sounds and dance music (or at least they seek to do this); all this within a pop mix. Today, after many vicissitudes, the band is composized by Marco Bianchini (voice), Alessandro Franzese (guitar), Alessandro Pinna (bass), Michael Auteri (piano and synth) and Federico Chinni (drums). Sometimes there's also Mimmo with the accordion (XD).
Nowadays they are working for a cd and you can listen the first single "Nightmares In The Darkness" on their myspace. But surprises don't end here...

Ciao ragazzi, le novità tanto attese sono finalmente arrivate, abbiamo caricato la nuova canzone "Nightmares In The Darkness" ed inserito il nuovo layout con le nuove foto...speriamo appreziate il nostro lavoro!! ;)
Intanto cogliamo l'occasione per ringraziare  Helio e Katoo dei The Electric Diorama con i quali abbiamo registrato il pezzo e ai quali continueremo a rompere le scatole nei prossimi mesi XD...ringraziamo anche il nostro amico Franz della Decline Designe che ci ha davvero stupito con i suoi effetti speciali!!

Hi guys, the long-awaited news finally arrived, we loaded new song "Nightmares In The Darkness" and inserted the new layout with new photos... we hope you'll appreciate our work!! ;)
Meanwhile we catch the opportunity to thank Helio and Katoo from The Electric Diorama, with which we recorded the track and that we continue to break the balls during next months XD.... we thank also our friend Franz of Decline Designe, that surprised us with his special effects!!
