So I'm sitting here in a coffee shop in San Diego, and it's been such a long time since I've actually come to "work". It's nice because I throw on my headphones, and I feel like Doug Masters in "Iron Eagle". I really get in the zone while I shut out all the ambient noises, while adding my own soundtrack to the world around me. So i was inspired to start this blog as I bob my head. I'm a people watcher, stationary as you pass on by I can't help but think
All the vacancy in all i see
all the smiles i get for free
I can’t help myself, its the nature of me
it’s your world, I only want a peek
so you keep on walking, you keep on task
I’ll write it down, and never ask.
There you go, pass me by
I say hello and you say goodbye X2
Maybe I’m wrong for not saying hello
letting you go not letting you know
imposing on a piece of your life
just hoping you can’t see my eyes
less is more as I speak the least
the inspiration you release
is giving me all i need
It’s better that you walk on by
you stay the mystery,
the memory that caught my eye...
I hope you like it, because it may be about you...

Well, I've been out in California for about 4 years now, and I've been performing, writing, and recording for about that long. Sometimes you never know if people will like your music until you get it out to them. After a good friend of mine inspired me to get my music out to the masses and stop worrying what others thought, I woke up. With that said, you can officially purchase John Hull tunes on iTunes for $.99.... Yeah, I hope you enjoy the music, and I hope you tell all your friends. Thank you and I look forward to hearing some reviews (good and bad)... If you click on the link below, you will be directed to my iTunes album... It's as easy as that...

Well I've been condensing my life little by little getting rid of the things I don't need. I realized there were many things I didn't need, especially on the Internet. I recently sifted through my "FRIENDS" on myspace, and unfriended many folks. I had to let some of you go, and I do apologize if you got the boot. It's really nothing to do with you, well ok; it does have something to do with you. After sifting through a crapload of bands and dj's that have never made it to a show or supported any other music but their own, I decided they got the nix. I also got rid of most of the hussy's on my page. You know the one's I'm talking about. The women that use myspace as a billboard of whore-ish proportions. Yes, you the girls that party all weekend and rely on nothing but your body to keep a conversation. Newsflash!!! Bodies don't talk, they MIGHT say, I'm a hooker, and I can bend in thirty-two different positions hehe... but they don't... Hey fellas that's the girl you don't want, that's the girl that's nice to look at but she's got all kinds of issues and can't carry on a conversation i.e. I'm not pretty, my daddy doesn't love me enough he bought me a 300 series BMW instead of a 600... I'm not spoiled; I'm just a daddy's girl. My mom's going with me and we're both getting our boobs done- sounds like good family bonding.... O.K. sorry about that rant, I'm just a little frustrated with the world and how it's turning out. Looking at our political situation, economy, our families (or lack thereof), it's so damn difficult to even think about raising a family in this effed up world. Well, it's pretty interesting how I got on the Internet this morning to write an email to a buddy. I hit the compose button, and my myspace said, "This feature is no accessible for users with over 2000 friends". So I started to condense my "friends" like I have many other things, and it's really made me think. Do I REALLY need over 2000 "friends". Are they really "FRIENDS" anyway? Myspace has totally degraded the term "friend", because now I can say "my friend", and never even have met that person. WOW, that's sounds a bit loco (crazy). How is that possible? Yeah, we're friends but he lives in the UK... I've never been there, but someday..... Whatever... I miss my friends. My REAL friends. I don't need the Internet to say who you are, you know who you are. Again, sorry about the rant, sorry if you got the boot, sorry if you take offense, and in the great words of Snoop Dogg "All you hookers and Hoe's know how I feel"....
