Hey, I realize i have often criticized customs layouts. The decision to adopt one was soley based on seeing Matt McClellan's profile, which is probably the cleanest on myspace. Today I saw a bulletin with the moniker "13 Wayz to kizz" or something retarded like that. Unaware of even 5 ways to kiss, i opened it up hoping to be educated. the following is what i found: it said "13 HOT ways to kiss", is that the reason why u opened it?..but if it said JESUS would u still have opened it? Hey guys, Everyone has been talking about a lessthaneight reunion, but every time it is mentioned somebody always says, "Whine, Whine I want to do it but it won't be the same! There has been too much drama!" Last time I checked, which was recently, none of us were crybaby sissies. Be a man and fix whatever it is that anyone is still grumpy about. This might help: Now lets make some freakin music. Why is it so uncool to "go to sleep"? It seems that everyone just "passes out" or "crashes" nowadays. For those of yall that may be confused by these teenage "buzz phrases", here are some examples - The lame college student - "Yo dude I got so drunk at the bar tonight. After my keg stand and puke and rally I went home and totally passed out" The cool friend who has a visiting guest - "Yeah bro its totally cool if you crash at my place after the 311 concert" Inexcusable stupidity. Hey Everyone. So in the spirit of humor cause I figured only two people read this I said some mean-spirited things about the Warner Robbins "scene". To all you guys, you are all talented musicians, I was just kidding around with a couple of my friends. Peace. "I recieved this email from one of the members of the bands that played last night. He will remain anonymous cause I dont want him getting any crap from anyone. Look dude I don't know who the fuck you are, but come back around to my fucking home town talking that shit and I'll break your goddamn jaw. First of all, the first band was not "metalcore". They are an oldschool hardcore band, but I guess you wouldn't know a goddamn thing about that would you? The second band has just gotten back together and is writing new material, so it's not perfected yet. Call it metalcore if you want but I just call it metal. The third band has their shit together finally and I'm very fucking proud of them. The fourth band has probably the most talented guitarists you'll ever fucking see. I don't know the last two bands as they were not from Warner Robins, but they went up and did their best. Song after song, it sounds the same but it damn sure didn't suck. You think we cared a little bit too much? How in the fuck do you even have a position to say that? I certainly don't think you know us? I certainly don't think you picked up on the joke that alot of make fun of scene kids and douche bags like you? Wait, of course you did, since you know us! We go to shows to have a good time and just hang out and act the fucking fool if we feel like it. Now don't get me wrong, you have every right to have your own opinions, but you for fucking sure, don't need to be an asshole, unless of course, you are the CEO of Virgin records? Actually, you still wouldn't have the place to be an asshole. You're a real fucking loser for talking shit, on the safety of the internet no less, about a bunch of guys trying to have some fun. You better pray to God I never see your face around my town again. I've got bail money you fucking sissy" This is my response: Alright from the start I'll offer you an apology. None of the bands sucked musically. I was just being stupid on a blog for entertainment purposes. If you read the rest of my blogs you may notice that every single one is a huge joke. Just calm down, there is only like two people that read my blog ever. Its not going to hurt your publicity, I swear. There is no need to "break [my] ******* jaw." Now to address the show, the scene, and hardcore music in general. I arrived when Silent Sorrow was playing. It sounded pretty metalcore to me. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING. If you take a gander at my music column you'll notice that I like Killswitch and As I Lay Dying. Both of these are metal-core bands. The next group, One Less Tragedy, I owe it to you that they were a tight band. It wasn't really my thing so I stepped outside. Sorry I didn't like it. I'll leave you a list of my bands at the end, feel free to ridicule them as much as you like. I am open for criticism. But more on that later. The band after you did have some very talented guitarists. The two singer thing was cool too. The high guy sounded exactly like the screamer from Zao. Very impressive. Now you are probably asking yourself why I wrote that these bands "sucked". All the musicians were talented, everything was pretty tight, what was wrong? We'll heres my thing about hardcore music. Hardcore music, in my opinion, is probably the worst music in the entire world. Therefore, when I go to a hardcore show, I could really care less how well the music is being played. I go to laugh. When people start to care more about the music than the show, I think its retarded. Its not hard to be a hardcore band. All you do is tune CGCGCC.. and then play whatever open chords you want. This does not apply to only the bands in Warner Robins either. You'll notice I'm a big Chariot fan. The Chariot's music sucks, big time. But its theater to them, which is what I gathered from The Rein last night. That is what I mean when I say that they took themselves too seriously. As you can see, my logic for liking hardcore bands is compeletly subjective and ridiculous. ITS A BIG JOKE FOR ME. Do not think I'm dissing someone's musical ability when I say a hardcore band sucks. Second of all you say you would like to beat me up or whatever for 1) dissing your scene and 2)for being a scene douchebag. I think all scenes are retarded. I'm from Newnan. Every body up there thinks its cool to pretend like their hardcore is somehow related to "southern rock". Its stupid, but hey its funny. We laugh. We have a good time. BUT EVERY HARDCORE BAND IN NEWNAN SUCKS TOO. including ever band I've ever been a part of. To address to your second point, I am not really in the hardcore scene. Its of a high school thing in Newnan so they've got it. I mostly listen to old emo and post-rock. Last night I was also wearing loose ExpressMen jeans, an Old Navy denim jacket, and an Abercrombie and Fitch button-up shirt. That should get across to you how not scene I am. Concluding, I would like to offer a truce between us. A bridge between Newnan and Warner Robbins. We can come enjoy your metal-core, yall can come enjoy out redneckcore. It'll be a beautiful thing. Last Night I had the pleasure of seeing Eliot Morris, Lifehouse, and Collective Soul. What a remarkably fine rock concert. except for the part about Collective Soul. Collective Soul is probably the most generic "rock" music I have ever heard in my life. Lifehouse was good but had zero guitar loyalty. The leader switched guitars every song, and they were all gibsons. Lifehouse, everybody knows you are rich, there is no reason to rub it in every one's faces. Eliot Morris, an aspiring musician, took on these big boys however with only one acoustic guitar and thats it. He was clearly the best act there. Thank you for simplicity.

Many of you are perhaps surprised or bewildered as to why I cut my hair. "Andy, it was so you" or "Thats how we all knew you!" Well to be honest, that means about as much to me as peanuts mean to a jellyfish. Lets be honest. The hair was a joke. It was a big long two year joke. It meant nothing to me. So I had the pleasure of seeing Little Richard tonight for his hometown show. This man is 73 years old and rocks harder than anybody. It is clear that rock music is simply on loan to white people while black people play around with other stuff. thats right. Black people invented and own rock music. Face it.

I am sick and tired of Country singers trying to be rock stars. Its really lame and you arent fooling anybody. I can remember watching CMT as a kid and seeing the Statler Bros, Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, and Billy Ray. It was southern and fun, and best of all there was nothing x-treme about it. Billy Ray knew he didnt have to use distortion to be cool. Nobody wants to hear distorted country music or even electric guitar. There is also this new fellow named Cowboy Troy who raps in his country music. Hey Cowboy Troy...YOU SUCK.
