"Riding the Wild Pony"

Somewhere in time, someone decided to harness
the power of the wild pony. This will be my word picture for chapters 11 (Sexual Transmutation) and this chapter, The Subconscious Mind.  With the help of all my mentors, Michael, Tom Schreiter, and Napoleon Hill, this is what it means to me.

Tom says our conscious mind is the size of a "pea" compared to the subconscious mind, which is as big as a mountain. Hill says the subconscious mind works 24-7.

Many people drift through life reacting to "things".  They let their subconscious mind handle the "things".  They let the wild pony do anything it wants to do.  They let it graze and sleep anywhere it wants. 

Before tractors and automobiles were invented, the horse bridled or harnessed provided an immense service to us. Long passed into history are the importance of words like, chariot, cavalry, buggy, and stage coach.

It all started when a man decided to take the ride on the wild pony.

Have You ever seen the wild bronco riders in a rodeo?  Then, You know their success is measured in seconds on their wild ponies.  Are You with me, that the energy of sex transmutation is involved here, too?

I see my subconscious mind as my wild pony. 

Riding the wild pony of my subconscious mind releases new life power in me.  Saying my self talk harnesses the negative "things", And programs its energy to empower my desires. 

The man, that first tamed his wild pony had new life energy working for him.  That tame pony plowed his fields, pulled him in buggies, and even helped him win battles and wars.

Thank You, Napoleon, Tom, and Michael for putting me on the wild pony ride.  I may get thrown off many times, but I know the power I have when riding my wild pony!

And when the pony is tamed, I will own my life.

As You may know, I'm a mentor with Mentoring for Free.  On Wednesdays we have our "30 Day Cleanse" calls.  We read one chapter a week from Napoleon Hill's classic book, Think and Grow Rich.  I turn in a 'lesson plan' each week for what the chapter means to me. 

I missed last week's lesson, because many of the mentors were on our annual Caribbean Cruise.  The week before last, I wrote about the Subconscious Mind Chapter in Think and Grow Rich, in which, I related getting my subconscious mind in control, like riding My Wild Pony.

This week's chapter is on the "Sixth Sense" and here is my lesson plan.

Hill speaks about my subconscious mind, my conscious mind, and my creative mind. How do these function together to manifest wealth?  I know true wealth comes from my Creator, who created me in His creative image, but I have to be plugged into His infinite mind.  The Bible teaches about prayer, and I had difficulty wrapping my mind around this chapter.

To understand it, I must think in yet another word-picture. This is what I see:

I think, plan and desire with my 'pea' size Conscious Mind. 

My accumulated feelings and experiences are recorded in the 'mountain' sized Sub Conscious Mind, or what I call my Wild Pony. I ride my Wild Pony through self-talk to places my 'pea' brain can not carry me.

The all loving Infinite Mind shines His energy on everything.  So where does the 'Sixth Sense' fit in?  My Sixth Sense is my Butterfly, which flaps its wings at certain vibrations somewhere between my 'pea' brain and my 'Wild Pony'.  The Butterfly's wings vibrate and reflect the Infinite Mind's energy to me,  like a real butterfly plays a visual symphany with sunlight. 

When I'm riding my Wild Pony down the path of my life's desires, guided by the reigns of my 'pea' brain on a  bright sun lit day, I see my Butterfly flapping its wings, reflecting the light of the Sun.  I have to be tuned-in and looking for it, though, less we pass by each other unnoticed.



The light energy reflected off the butterfly's wings is ... my link to creativity.  It's the glimmer and glimpse into the Mind of God in the battering of the Butterfly's beat.  Of course, my 'pea' brain is green, but it can see into all the colors of the rainbow in the batting wings of My Butterfly.



Ideas have wings, but I just realized they fly on the Wings of My Butterfly, reflecting the energy of the Infinite Mind.  His Sense, this Sixth Sense to me, masterminded to You is...

When riding Your Wild Pony, keep Your mind tuned

to Your Butterfly, which tells You Your answer.

Imagination is the spark; Visualization the fire.
Ride Your Wild Pony and watch for Your Butterfly;
Your Sixth Sense, that points to Your Desire.

Everyone promotes and recommends, but Network Marketers just found out how to get paid for it. Are You losing faith in the "Old" way our economy distributes goods and services, and Your part in that "Old" method? That "Wild Pony", Your Sub Conscious mind operates in the "Old Way".

Network Marketing is the "New" way. If You want to trust Your employer and the "Old Way", that's fine. Most people are looking for a Plan "B", a "New Way" for Security. I don't feel comfortable anymore, trusting in a job, that could end tomorrow.

Everyone promotes and recommends the things they like. Network Marketing promotes You.  It shows You, how to get paid for promoting and recommending.

The old system pays many people to get products to You.  Your favorite product at WalMart did not get there by itself. An economy got it to You.

Economy means, how goods and services are distributed in a system.

I majored in Economics in college, and pursued a career with the U. S. Department of Labor administering the laws that promote the economy of Work in the U. S.  I still work part time for the Employment Service in my state. I see the long lines of unemployed people everyday.

Our "big" economy is made up of many "little" economies.  You have Your own little economy, which distributes the goods and services You want to You and Your family.  Now enters... the Revolution 2009.

Have You ever wished you could get the money for endorsing a product, like professional athletes and entertainers get? If You are buying those products,
You are paying Your part for those endorsements. 

What if, Your mother, grandfather or neighbor recommends a good product to You?  

Everyone recommends and promotes the things they like, and Network Marketing shows You how to get paid for it. That's the difference!

A Network Marketing company pays You, instead of the famous superstars. It doesn't take super talent, but it does take knowledge and skills, like any other career.  The knowledge and skills for this Revolution 2009 are available.

There are two kinds of Network Marketers:

the ones, who pay through the nose for this knowledge and skills, and

those who find people, who mentor them for free.

Most people have heard about "The Secret" and the "Law of Attraction".  For every talking head on those videos, each one will sell You their version of those messages for a price. That's all well and good if You are looking for entertainment.

This article is about programmed energy. I propose, that the entire universe is composed of energy.  Well what about E=mc(squared)?  (energy is matter at the speed of light times the speed of light).  Well, I don't know the formula for what I'm thinking.

It is traveling through my brain so fast, I'm lucky to catch up with it and transcribe it here on paper(?).  Well my keyboarding is being translated into polarized energy, and the outcome to zipped off into the ethers and planted on Your screen of electronic, digital impulses.  The impulses are recorded into Your brain in the form of energy.  If the message vibrates Your mind like my mind is vibrating, You might understand what I am saying (typing?).

Everything is energy. Matter is composed of programmed charges of electrical energy.  I wasn't a whiz in physics or chemistry, and You probably don't give a whiz.  Hey, that's OK. I'm not delivering a lecture. I'm writing about possibilities.

If an atom of Oxygen combines with two Hydrogen atoms to form water (H2O), and the result puts out fires.... Woa

If You need oxygen for fires to burn, and hydrogen explodes violently, but they combine to form a liquid, which smothers fires, do You want to know why that is? 

It's all about programmed energy, just like my words got to you via computers, the internet, and all the programming in between.

Your motherboard has a crystal that vibrates at a precise frequency for You to turn Your computer on. My THING manipulates electrical impulses, organizes them and shoots them off to your THING, and this is what You got...ramblings from a my vibrating mind.

I propose that energy is programmed By a creative mind. If I'm right, we are energy slowed down long enough to be people.  We live in a world where the things we see, smell, touch, hear, and feel are things slowed down by a creative programmer.  No, I didn't say God is a computer programming Geek in the sky. Adjust Your mental vibrations a little higher, please.

Generations of life are programmed by DNA. Life is the energy, DNA is the program.  Your subconscious mind compared to Your conscious mind, is like a mountain to a pea. Your subconscious mind contains all the ideas, experiences and emotions that You've ever experienced.  It may contain instincts from Your parents DNA.

The spooky thing is, some PHD types claim, that all of us are programmed in our subconscious by the time we are 6 or 7 years old. That's why we don't put our hand on a hot stove.  There is bad programming in there, also like,

At the time in Your young, impressionable, trusting mind... You believed what people told You.  Your energy has been programmed.  You are the programming.  Your mountain sized subconscious mind makes its decision a whole six seconds before Your conscious mind expresses the same response.  

So what about "Free will"? It's possible, but not a given.  You can dilute the programming.  You can consciously put new input into Your subconscious mind. One way to do that is "self-talk", also known as positive affirmations.

I borrowed some self-talk from Michael Dlouhy, which is:
 

My subconscious mind has to record this every time I say it.  It can not contradict me when I'm saying it, because it can not transmit and receive at the same time.  It has to record it and store it with the recordings of my thoughts saying, that, "You are a failure." The bad program is still there, but the more self-talk I say, the fainter the negative programming sounds in my head.

If You are thinking, "People who talk to themselves are Crazy!", consider, that this thought maybe bad programming, that You are stuck with for life. 

I've learned at Mentoring for Free, how to change my negative programming.

How does this work for You?  Well, first of all, Your Conscious mind (the pea) can control the Subconscious mind (The Mountain).  If You have been programmed to fail, You will, ...unless You learn how to change the program. This is enough to ponder for now.

Next time, I'll tell You how You can speak to a person's Subconscious mind.  We will climb some mountains, instead of chicken scratching around with the peas.

In uncertain times, most people turn-on their mental radar, but some don't.  A Revolution is coming!  It's not a violent revolution, but a peaceful one.

It's not a political revolution with artificial boundaries, but a socio-economic revolution without limits! It's not an American Revolution, nor a European Revelution, nor an Australian Revolution.  This is an International revolution.

It is a revolution for freedom. It will start in Your mind. Some Old useless things will pass away, and some wonderful New things will take place in Your life.  I'm talking about network marketing. If You scoffed, that's OK.
That's one of the Old things, that will be passing away.

Most people are limited by their own inabilities to change. One certainty is that things will change. We're all getting older, and You can't change that.  You can change Your thinking about things. Change begins with new ideas, and a blending with the old.

In prehistoric times, people bartered to exchange goods and services. Each person's toil and work produces something different from their neighbor. A person traded their goods for the goods or services of a neighbor. Money was invented to help people trade these goods and services, and to store wealth in good times to be used in sparse times.

Money IS what money does. A chunk of metal or a slip of monetary paper has little, if any intrinsic value. It is the 'faith' and trust we put on it that gives it value. It is the 'medium' of exchange; a symbol for our barter. Money revolutionized the old barter system, and blended with it.

When You go to the store and buy a $1.00 widget, the cost is determined by the production cost of the product, plus the added values and costs attached to it until it gets to You. The producer, manufacturer, or processor makes millions of widgets in great supply.  The next requirement is distribution.

You can go to the manufacturer a thousands of miles away and buy 10,000 widgets for $1000.  That's 10 cents each. But You only need 1 widget, right?  You can go to national distributors, and buy 5,000 for 15 cents each. Or, go to a regional distributor and get 2000 for 35 cents each. Or You can go to a local wholesaler and buy 1000 for 60 cents apiece, Or You can get 200 widgets from a local 'jobber' for 70 cents each.

But You still only need ONE widget?  You go to the store and get Your one widget for $1.00.  Each shipper and handler of Your widget has added value to the product.  They moved Your widget closer to You. Each 'middleman' added to it and got it closer to Your local store, where You dropped by and bartered Your money for Your one widget.  That's the established way, the old way. How is that going to change?

Lets look at what happened.  You demanded something, a widget.  You demand a lot of things.  If people can get you what You demand at a reasonable price, You are happy. Everyone benefits. It's worth everyone's time and effort.  As people are getting older, people want to stay healthy.  People want to make and keep as much of their wealth as possible. In older times, "wealth" included the meaning of the word "health".  Health was part of being prosperious.  Enter the new idea, the Revolution!

Everybody recommends and promotes the products and services they like.  Network Marketers have found out how to get paid for it!  Are You part of "everybody"? Are You recommending and promoting the things You like?  Are You getting paid for what You are recommending and promoting?  Did You say, "No, I make my money at the factory, that makes those dar*n widgets!", or maybe, "No, I make my money hauling those widgets to your lazy bones.", or maybe, "No, I make my money at the store that stocks, dusts, and sells You those widgets, one at a time."

If You are wondering how network marketing works, it's simple.  The manufacturer does not want to spend millions of dollars paying a sales force over a given territory of potential buyers.  Instead of selling the product for  10 cents, he marks it up to 70 cents, and sells them to people, who want to network market them.  You can stock and retail the product, and make 30 cents a widget, and You can promote others to use and promote the products.  You build a network of widget promoters and users.  The company pays bonuses on the amount of products distributed through Your network.

The Network marketing company pays out about 35 cents of the the 70 cents recieved for the widgets.  The company shares it among the network marketers, who produced the sales. He also pays the manufacturer for supplying the widgets.  The old way is like Nike paying some superstar athlete millions of dollars to promote Nike products through endorsements.  I'm thinking, Barak should be making Ophra the Secretary of Entertainment.

There are many differnt kinds of companies , that use this model of distribution.  Some work better than others.  Some work better for the company, and some work better for You.  The under pinnings of this system is "faith" in this new type of marketing system, like our faith in money.  It's about "trust" in the people we choose to network with.  Most people "Want to believe" in Network Marketing, but have learned to "Trust No One".

The Revolution in Network Marketing in 2009 is coming.  People will avoid the scammer-jammers, that try only to sell You a dream.  They will be alert to frauds, and open to the real thing, from people they trust.  On Your own, with perfect radar, it can still take You years to learn the skills required in this business.  Without the "perfect radar", You will spend thousands of dollars for information about the skills, but no hands on training to help You to process the information.  Think long and hard before You pay for information that promises You instant success.  Don't trust, what people SAY.  Trust only in what people DO.

I'm learning the skills of Network Marketing at Mentoring for Free.  Those people DO what they say.  I'm a mentor.  I DO what I say.  I'll share with You what I am learning.  I'll never charge for helping You.  Don't pay for a Secret, when there are people bursting to share it with You.  Just find those sharing people.  I found the best at Mentoring for Free, but we are only part of this Revolution, the best part.
