The Guns of Detroit will Very Very soon visit a yet undisclosed recording studio in June to begin work on a their new E.P. (un-titled)

With new material, new shows, and a new record on the way we want to include you guys in everything we do. So if you're interested in checking us out or just saying hello, look at our new shows list, or drop us a nice little email and let us know how we are doing!

So, our last show here in Austin has...was, pretty cool. The dragnets came out, along with the 14 holes and along with a  nice mix of races and species. Trophy's was good good. Technical difficulties mid set with sound guys mics made us miss out some songs, but we pulled through, finished the night, ate some breakfast, then went to sleep. First I put on my mother's clothes.

Just email us your idea, colors, etc,... and we will bake you one up in a jiffy. (like a week). So, catch us at our shows, sign up on the list, give us your last dollar and we’ll mail it to you! So simple an untrained chimp could do it, so complex we hired that same untrained chimp to manage us!

Today was a good day. We spent a lot of time trying to get the CD release show together for Feb. 15th. Which was probably only about an hour or so...so, yeah. :)

Anyway, things are progressing...I think. Our record label Ionik Recordings is shipping us the CDs, we are playing some cool shows coming up, and we are getting some new equipment.

So come out to the show on the 15th, see some cool bands and buy our shit!

As of...well, right about now, The Guns of Detroit are back and with a new member. Ethan Marshall takes over guitar work and backup vocals. Randall and Jess remain on their repective instruments and the hampster stays in the ball. :)
This feels really good to all of us in the band and we have been practicing with amazing results.
So, with new and old material under our belts, new shows, and new faces we are ready for you to join us again at the stage.

Look for new show listings very very soon and hope to see some familiar faces as well as new ones with-in the next couple of months.
