Current mood:  anxious
Well where to start. We had a great run this yr with the tours in support for Feed The Beast  we did a west coast tour a full USA tour and 2 European tours. We got great feedback and had lots of fun. A lot has happened since then. We have been working really hard to give you a great 2nd album. We don't want to disappoint and I'm pretty sure you wont be. We also lost a great friend and bassist but quickly found a great replacement in a guy named Jerry Garcia, some of you locals may know him as the Taking Over Bassist,  which has brought great ideas to the BBB table.  Now on to the juicy stuff...

The new album:
We are almost done writing. We have also demoed some songs for our listening pleasure. It also helps me write lyrics. I have shown some of my really close friends and allies and they love it. Its a step up from the old stuff and a step in the right direction. We have a couple of album names floating around but nothing is set in stone. We have narrowed down some studios in LA and around the area as well as producers. There is also a really cool artist that instantly captivated our eyes with his work I'm pretty sure you will love him as well once you see the art. The sound and subject matter is a bit different than our last attempt but in a good way. Its heavier fast and a bit more technical and precise. Still has that BBB taste. We are trying to get in the studio in December or maybe even January. So this new untitled album will be out early next yr. I know you cant wait to get your palms on it.  Shit Im fucking excited to get my palms on it.

Tours:
As most of you know or don't know BBB books most of their shows/tours themselves. Not cus we don't like booking agents or wouldn't want one. Its just sometimes their roster is full and we have to wait around to get booked with "insert a big name band here" When we can just book a tour and take some fellow underground bands with us on a lovely month or two cruise on the road. Have some fun support the new bands coming out. This is for the USA of course when it comes to other countries we need help from an outside source and we thank everyone that has helped get us out there.

So with the release of the 2nd album we plan on making 2010 the yr BBB does not rest. We wanna tour till our dicks fall off. This is where all this planning comes along and sometimes we need help from YOU.

USA:
We have many contacts and are planning on a month and a half tour with some cool bands we have in mind.  If we didn't hit your city or state or you or your band would wanna set up a show let us know. this will be fun.

Mexico:
We have had many messages and Emails asking us why we never come to Mexico if we are right next door. Well your prayers have been answered cus we are already setting up a great tour with a cool band from here in the area to come destroy Mexico in late 2010. So hold on to your sombreros compadres we will make it to the motherland soon.

Europe:
Been there twice and we wanna make it more and more times. Its always great to see a crazy European crowd. We have a couple options and might be out there twice. We will be trying to get on a couple fest in summer as well.

Japan:
I have a contact out there but more would be appreciated. We really want to make this one happen. I have had emails of fans in Japan that really want to see us live. Hopefully sometime in 2010 we will make this happen.

South America:
We also have a few contacts here and we wanna make this happen. I know we have tons of fans in south america if you can help with this it would be awesome.

That pretty much it for now. We will update you as much as we can. Hope to see ya on the road.

If you have any questions or if you are interested in booking dont be scared in sending us a message here or at

Skinthedead@yahoo.com

Thanks

-Jose

We are sorry to announce that Bonded by Blood has been forced to cancel the rest of the European Massacre Tour with Fueled by Fire. Though our first part of the tour in the UK with Cauldron started out really good, we had a series of unfortunate events in the rest of Europe with Fueled by Fire and what was supposed to be Suicidal Angels. The tour was looking bad from the beginning due to poor organizing and lack of communication with the booking agency. There was also some close calls with the drivers, who weren't very experienced in long drives or driving outside of their own country.

As some of you may know, Suicidal Angels dropped early on the tour and we almost called it quits with them. When some of the problems seemed to be resolved, we decided to give it another try and continue on the tour. Neurasthenia, thrash metal from Italy, decided they would come on tour with us last second, and we thank them very much. We finally got into contact with the booking agency and more dates were being confirmed. More importantly, we were going to receive a new driver, so there was hope that we weren't going to die on tour.

First show in our second attempt to continue this tour was moved 4 hours from where we were told it was supposed to be. We were forced to cancel yet another show(sorry to every one in Czech republic). The last straw came when the new driver messed up the van in the middle of a highway where there was no shoulder lane. Luckily, a random Hungarian dude helped us continue and we didn't have to cancel any Hungary dates. From that moment, we decided this tour was not worth the risk financially, but most importantly we were risking the lives of our band members.

Fueled by Fire and Neurosthenia were able to work things out so they could continue on the tour and we wish them good luck, because we've played in some of the places we had to cancel, so make sure you treat them as well as you treated us last time we were around.

We are very sorry and would like to apologize to all the venues, bands, but most importantly we want to apologize to our fans who wished to come and watch the show. We will come back soon, and we will make up for everything, that's a guarantee.

On the bright side, we had a lot of fun playing the few shows we got to play. We also got to have a lot of fun with our new friends Suicidal Angels, Neurasthenia(the lady's men), and Fueled by Fire(we will never forget Amsterdam). Thanks to all of you who came out to see us, and once again, sorry to all those who we weren't able to play for or with.

For the mean time we will be working on Album number 2(no name yet). So you'll hear from us again soon and we hope to hear from all our fans soon.

5/8/2009 The Classic Grand- Glasgow Scotland UK
So this is the first show in our UK/Euro tour. We had just one week off at home and it was back to the destroy the world. We had never been to Scotland so I did not know what to expect. It was a friday night full of beer fun and moshing. We played at a placed named The Classic Grand. We had 2 pretty damn cool opening bands. A lot of bands dont really grab my attention but these two made me headbang like no other. It was Amok and Circle of Tyrants. They were both pretty damn cool and very energetic. This was also the first time checking out Cauldron. I had just heard a bit from them on myspace never really stuck around and listened very well. they put on a good show and they pretty cool guys. For being the first time in Glasgow and people treated us like legends. We will be coming back soon.

We love you Scotland. Edingburg Tonight.

-Jose

5/9/2009 Bannermans- Edingburgh Scotland UK

So it was party time after Glasgow and thats exactly what we did. Edingburg was only an hour away. So we pack our shit and hang out a bit. To my surprise we meet someone from Hesperia CA ( a place close to home). This person is out there for school and it feels great for someone to know where Pomona is. Well we call it a night and sleep at  pretty cool mom and pop looking hotel. Wake up and  eat some Scottish breakfast. First time trying some Haggis and Blood Pudding. I dont think anyone else liked it like I did. Well its off to the show and the guy that runs the bar lets us stay at his flat. Pretty cool place where there is cases of beer and cornflakes. It was time to play the show and  i already had a taste of what the scottish metalheads could do. I was really excited to get on stage.  I was not dissapointed. People were going bezerk. I ended our set and they carry me out cheering and chanting "we want pizza"

Good Times in Scotland. We will be back.

Tonight we are in London.

5/10/2009 The Purple Turtle- London England
The night before this in Scotland some of us end up going to some "metal" club down the street. Turns out to be one weird trip man. Some naked dude dancing to Paradise City by Guns n Roses isnt my idea of good fun but to each his own. It gets to be 4 in the morning and its off to London. We get to Talitas house (Press for Earache) and have a proper lunch. Go grab some beers and its off to the show. I was really excited for tonights show. It was our 2nd time in london and last time we were in town people were raging. I had also heard that members of Angelwitch and Wolf were gunna be there so that was a plus. We wended up playing with Mutant his nigh which was amazing. They fucking killed. Didnt get to watch much of Cauldrons set till the end of  it. We were up and the room begins to fill up. I could see it in peoples faces that they were ready to fucking rage and they did. It was a great show with great people. Got to see a lot of old friends we made in our last UK tour.  All in all it was great  fun and the night ended with endless amount of booze drinking and random bus rides.

till next time London.

tonight we destroy Leeds

Sorry the blog hasnt been updated lately but I dont have Internet acces 24/7. Either that or im out having tons of fucking fun. hahah ill try to update you really quick on the last couple shows.

5/11/2009 James Well-Leeds England
We get back from our partying in the jolly town of London and knock out. Nothing but madness that night. There was laughs there was tears and there was lots of booze. We end up staying at our good friend Tom's house. Cool guy witha cool dog that licked us all night long. Up in the morning have to head out to Talitas house so the drivers can pick us up. We get there and there is a weird vibe as if someone died. I dont know maybe we just smelled. Long story short, Drivers needed to fix the brakes. it took longer than expected and we had to drive about 100 non stop to Leeds. We finally get there do soundcheck and expect no one to be there tonight(it was last minute show). I take a little nap and i see people packing the place. One local band that fucking killed and the rest of the night was amazing great show great crowd. I was fucking tired and we end up sleeping at the venue this night. Good times.

5/12/2009 Seven-Nottingham England (Last date on the UK leg of the tour)
I am woken up by a drunken blur walking through the door @ 7 in the morning. It turns up its our drummer Carlos. He was out all night getting drunk. Just coming in with a happy drunk grin. I bet he had a hell of a night. After all that I couldnt go back to sleep. So while everyone snored and turned and tumbled I was up playing super mario 64. The clock struck 11 and it was time to load out all our instruments and get on our way to Nottingham (Earache HQ). Everything is packed and we are on our way. We get there pretty early and Ali rings us to get ready for some grub. Always love going to Earache hq. This means tons of freebies and drinks on Digby. We get to headquarters and get to see everyone busy at work.  Digby takes us out for pizza and beers. I must admit walking out fo the pizza parlor i was kind of buzzed and as we walked even more to a local pub i get more drinks in me.  Lucy comes in the pub and tells us its time for sound check, BBB hates doing these. Slowly we walk up to the venue having the sound check blues. Sound check is finished and we go down for some more drinks. Its our last day with Cauldron and you can feel that they are gunna miss us. The gig ends with a pretty bad ass crownd and lots of packing. Sad goodbyes to all the Earache crew and its off to Belgium to pick up Fueled by Fire and Suicidal Angels.

I will update the first show in Europe and our day off in Amsterdam later on tonight. I have to eat some food.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while.  We had a lot fo trouble.  We did Belgium it was amazing show we had a day off in Amsterdam and it wild. Suicidal Angels unfortunately had to drop out of the tour. we almost had to go home. Italian band Neurestina saved our butts and thats why we are here now.

I will be updating this as much as i can starting fresh and new as of today.

SLOVAKIA!!!!!!!!!

3/25/2009 Irish Pub-Banska Bystrica, Slovakia
After so many gigs I havent updated ( beligium germany holland poland czech and so on) I need to get back on track with these. Today was not a good day to begin with. I was told some bad news and well was kinda bummed. As a true performer that I am. the show must go on. We arrive really early this time around. 4 hrs early. We have to wait around for this promoter and sound guy. I walk around take a look at the cityand admire the views. Slovakia is a beautiful country and i instantly fell in love.  Well there is only 3 bands on the bill which is the touring package.  We set up and in no time the show starts. Not a crazy crowd as in moshing and all but they all loved it. After the show i sell some shirts and i got to talk to this interesting dude about life. He was very insightful and bought me some really good slovakian beer. I didnt notice but it was 16% and it was actually good. good times. 27 more days till im home...

up next Hungary!

3/6/2009 Las Vegas Nevada-The Four Aces
Let me keep you up to date one everything thats going on in the touring world of BBB. We started our way of California on March 6th 2009 @ 12 am on our way to Las Vegas. By this time we were already packed and had Exmortus with us. We ended up passing by Hesperia where we waited for Witchaven and sooner than later we were already on our way. 4 hrs later we ended up in famous Las Vegas. Our destination was your run of the mill 21 and over bar named "The Four Aces". We get there around 6 or 7. The place looked kind of dead no one really there.  We finally talk to the promoter around 8 he says the show does not start till 930. So we wait aroudn and set up merch . Bar lady asks us if we are all over age and at first i thought she was going to be a dick about  not everyone being over age but she ended up being cool and let us all in. The time was set it end it up being 9 and Witchaven was setting up for what set to be a very killer set they put on. Ive seen these guys a couple times but they really stepped it up on this new material. About 30 min later it was Exmortus turn and the crowd was really digging it. Drunken assholes all over the place. The clock struck 11 it was BBB's turn to hit the stage. People shouting names of our songs beer flying everywhere. It was a great start of a tour. We ended the night by hitting the strip eating some food and driving our asses to AZ. Tonight should be killer.

Ill bee keeping a day by day blog on our mysapce so keep on checking .

3/7/09 Tempe Az-The Sets
So here we are lovely hot AZ. I knew we were in AZ once we crossed the Nevada/Arizona border once the climate started to change. We ended up arriving in Chandler AZ around around 10 am. Right when we came in the door we knocked the fuck out. Woke up around one and  was really excited for later on that night. Playing with our buddies Vektor and Deceptor we couldnt go wrong. So after everyone showers  and have a couple of brews we head out to Tempe to play for what turned out to be a pretty bad ass crowd. The ride from Chandler to Tempe was a bout 30m minutes or so and it was a fun one. We were all anticipating this show since AZ is like a 2nd home to us. Once we arrive we we get greeted by all our Arizonian buddies and it felt great. This time there was a couple of locals that opened up the show and it was some of the best bands AZ has to offer. I got inside when Deceptor was playing and they had a great set and a great hometown crowd. Witchaven got up and anihhalted the crowd as people asked for more.
We went on right after The mighty Witch and The crowd really digged us as i saw many people with BBB shirts in the crowd. Set was mazing many people singing along and going crazy. Exmortus went on after us that night and they did very good. Crowd seemed kinda tired but they still were really into it. Vektor the mighty  locals from SPACE ended the night. Those guys are a real trip and one of my favorites not just from AZ but form all this new generation of bands coming out.  They had a great set and the night ended with a couple of brews and random talk about maury jenny jones and to catch a predator.  All the bands are getting a bit closer and more open with each other which is a good sign of way more fun shit to come. Today is our day off in AZ before we play Tucson tomorrow. That means i just came to the conclusion of my daily blog due to the fact that i need to go get a couple of brews.

3/8/2009 Day Off- Chandler AZ
One of our first days off on the tour. We didnt need a day off but sometimes you cant book all of the dates. Usually days off turn out to be boring and expensive. You have basically nothing to do and you have to spend money to eat. This time around  it was quite fun. We spent most of the day drinking playing ping pong and playing sega. Nothing  big or special this night., A few Arizona friends were hanging out with us. Vektor came over and we danced the night away. Like I said before nothing really special. Tonight should be good. First time in Tucson.
Quote of The day for Day off in Chandler "Im doing this for my family" -some guy from felony fights.

3/9/2009 Tucson Az-Vaudville
I wake up around 12 pm to round up the troops and leave Chandler AZ. We didnt end up leaving till 5 pm ended up in Tucson @ about 7 pm. We play yet another 21 and over bar. Those places seem to love BBB haha. We get there and they feed us some pizza. Show does not start till 9 pm. We played with a band named Astaroth. They were pretty cool dudeds. didnt really get to see  all their set since i was out fixing shit in our trailer. Only thing i can really tell you is that they were cool dudes and they played black metal. I finally got to meet some friends ive kept in touched with through myspace that lived in Tucson. Everyone kept telling me how there is no metal sceen in tucsona nd how it sucks to play out there. I honestly enjoyed my time while we were there. Not the best turn out of the tour so far but great energetic crowd for sure. Witchaven was right after the locals and they killed. Exmortus went up and had a great set even did a cover of Chemical Warfare, We went up to set up and tried our best to thropw on a great show for the few that were there. We finished the night and enede up at a after party in a nearby neighborhood, This was a tottatally insane experince. people were jumping on each other yelling out PARTY really loud and some dude even headbutted a window. Night ended when cops came and told us to fuck off. That  was the conclusion of our stay in AZ and it was off to NEW MEXICO where we had a long talk about sex and feces. more on that on the next blog!
Quote of the day for Tucson "Hey asshole come back i have clothes on"- Cairy
3/11/2009 Lubbock TX-Whiskey Dix
We are in Texas now. Boy do i love Texas. Everytime we have been to Texas they treat us with so much respect and love. This time we are in Lubbock  TX. Birthplace of Buddy Holly. We end up at the venue named Whiskey Dix. This has to be the best stop of the tour so far. 2 locals played  Nihilistic Outlaw Criminal Order and Self Hatred. Pretty cool grindcore bands from the area, I really digged them. The guys in the band are some of the most friendly and down to earth dudes we have met on the road. They let us stay at their house they bought us pizza and beer. The show went really well specially for a wendsday.. People were going crazy and singing our songs some dudes were even flipping off stage. We get back to Luis house from both local bands and he hooked  us up with a bunch of beer. Im still up at this moment and about to get some breakfast  so ill update you later. Im still up drinkin beer and having some good times. next stop OKC!!

OKLAHOMA HERE WE COME!

3/12/2009 OKC-The Conservatory
Most of this day is a blur do to massive head ache and feeling like shit.
good people good beer and and great show thats for sure.

3/13/2009 Dallas Texas-Reno Shop Chop
What a day. We spent most of it in Walmart stocking up on food and other sorts of supplies. We didn't realize how cold all these "hot states" where gonna be. It was raining in Dallas almost all day. I stocked up on some warm sweaters and gloves. I just wonder how the east coast is gonna be. Well on to the show. We spoiled ourselves and the 3 bands chipped in for 2 motel rooms. It was one of the best rest before a show we have had so far. Show does not start till 9 and there is 2 locals playing. Insinnerator and The other one i cant remember. Insinnerator start the show with a bang. Pretty cool songs and style. Vocals reminded me a bit of the crossover band from NY Vermefug. Only live though. On CD and myspace it does not sound like that. Either way band has a lot of promise. 2nd local went up but I was outside the venue looking for something i misplaced. Came back in and they were almost over. This night was Witchavens night. they killed the crowd. People yelling out their name and moshing all around. Exmortus goes up and look like they have a great time up there. Finished their set off with Chemical Warfare. We go up around 12:45, which is pretty damn late. People start gathering around during sound check . Once we start playing you can feel the energy of the music hit the crowd. We finish our set and people yell out they want more. We come back for a encore and finish it off with our version of Bonded by Blood. What a great night this was. We finish up by packing up and some drunk blonde chick showing us her asshole as 20 guys cheer her on. What a great night. Dallas fucking rules.

Next Stop SAN ANTONIO!!!!!!

3/14/2009 San Antonio Tx- The Warhol
Right after the Dallas show we go to the motel rooms and start partying till we pass out. Which means we don't go to sleep till about 5 in the morning. We gotta get out of that place at about 11 am. We end up leaving at exactly 11 am. Our destination San Antonio TX. I slept all the way there. I was too fucking tired to even be bothered to eat. We end up in San Antonio at this very small but bad ass venue named THE WARHOL. The place got really packed. There was people outside before the damn place opened. That is always a great sign. This seemed like a young crowd. 14-17 with a couple of older dudes in there. There was 3 opening bands War Criminals Hexlust and HOD
I enjoyed all three. War Criminals had a very HC PUNK vibe which i really digged and the dudes were very nice. Hexlust was just tearing balls all over the place. Great band with a lot of promise. HOD was a very enjoyable death metal band with a great sense of humor. Those guys tore shit up. The 3 bands on tour were on fucking fire tonight. The crowd was digging all of us. Great night we did 3 encores and ended the night. During our set people were getting slammed on to the stage and some dudes were moshing with chairs. Shit was getting fucking crazy. I love TEXAS. Im still up right now. We are at a rest stop grilling some wieners. my hot dog is done so ill update you guys next time.

next stop HOUSTON!!!

Quote of the day for San Antonio "Lets go in between those trees and explore and by explore i mean rape me"-Lerby

3/14/2009 Houston Texas-The White Swan (last minute show)
This show was one of the baddest in Texas. Texas know how to fucking party and fuck shit up. Houston is home of DRI. One of the ebst band to walk the face of the earth, (well thats just my opinion and not my bands)People greeted us with so much love and respect and show went really damn well. One of the craziest crowds we have had all tour. People were really into it. I think i was really drunk before i went up this night. No one really noticed. Next stop was Florida. We had one of the longest drives on the tour. 15 fucking hours of driving. We had to pass Louisiana Missisippi and Alabama. We stopped at a rest stop top bbq a bit and it was off to Florida. We got there a hr before the show opened the doors.

Quote of the day for Houston" What is that your drinking? Cum drink?"- Lerby

3/16/2009 St Petersburg FL-State Theatre
We got to one of the biggest places we have played in the whole tour. We had to unpack real quick and set shit up. Earlier that day i get a call that Alex Webster from Cannibal Corpse wanted to be on the guest list. I didnt think he wpould show up but he did. Shit was bad ass. After one of my heroes watches our set and tells me he thinks we are bad ass made my whole day.

Nothing really will top this for a bit.

Quote of the day fpr St Petersburg FL " You guys tore shit up. Reminds me of Vio-lence and Death Angel.Great set"-Alex Webster of Cannibal Corpse

Next stop ORLANDO!!

3/20/09 Orlando FL- The Haven

We had 2 days off before this show because ft myers got canceled. We ended up staying at Fatal's house. They were all nice dudes and a great band. We had fun @ the beach and partied all night long. Big THANK YOU to them. We drove off to Orlando the day before the the show. We ended up at one of the nicest places on tour. Great Awakenings house was like heaven. They treated us with so much respect and love. They treated us like we were family and thats something we will never forget. All the thank you's we give you will never repay your hospitality. Well the show was pretty cool. People were fucking raging. Got to meet a couple of TU people. GK was one of the coolest dudes. He gave me some mags and cd's for the road. I cant thank you enough. They are being put to good use. We will gladly come back to Orlando!

3/21/09 Atlanta GA-The Well St Warehouse.

We had a 8 hr drive to Atlanta from Orlando. We stopped at a rest stopped to cook some chicken and wieners. It was some good grub. We ended up getting to Atlanta at around 6 pm. The venue is a pretty cool warehouse. Reminded me of the house from Wayne's World 2. Show is suppose to start at 8 but it does not start till around 10 pm. 2 opening bands were pretty damn cool. I do not remember the first bands name. They were kinda doom/sludge metal pretty cool stuff. 2nd up was Spewtilator. I think this is one band you need to see live. Insane band. The crowd seems to be more punk at this show. Which is no biggie to me cus I'm into punk and I know punk gigs get damn crazy. I wasn't wrong. We go on at about 1 am and people are still waiting for us. Yelling out psychotic pulse and immortal life as we set up. We start off the set and people are smashing into the front and pitting like maniacs., Great damn show in Atlanta. They proved me wrong. Atlanta has great crowds. Wish I could of met Ludacris I hear hes from Atlanta hahahha

Next stop Sheffield Alabama!!!

3/22/09 Sheffield Alabaama- Muscle Shoals
Show was great. More people than expected. Run into a lot of trouble with the law. Some people got arrested. Not a great night in partying. Will go down in History.

3/25/2009 Raleigh North Carolina- Volume 11
NC was kinda weird. There was fans and crowd but no one really doing anything. Mostly just standing around. We went on @ 1 pm so I dont blame them. All in all great show. Thanks to Hank for the hospitality.

NYC UP NEXT!!!

3/28/2009 Marlic Lanes- Queens NY
We end up driving from Philly to NYC. One thing i noticed is there is a lot of damn toll roads in the east coast. They charge a ridicoulous amount of money. I mean we have our occasional toll road in Cali but its like 75 cents. We finally get to Downtonw NYC and its damn huge. I really fucking digg it. Its amazing. Lots of people walking around traffic up the ass. The smell of sewer. I felt at home. It was just at that moment i realized I was in the home of a couple of my heroes. Anthrax Demoliton Hammer KISS The Ninja Turtles. The list can go on forever but those are the first that came to mind. We get there pretty damn early. Its about 3 pm and we have to go pick up some vinyls at the Earache office. We get to the office and its the first damn timeI get to meet our press agent. He is the coolest dude. Well we take care of that and its off to the venue. This was a very last minute show and it was FREE!!!. It ended up being on top of a bowling alley. While random families are downstairs having the time of their lifes downstairs. We are upstairs destroying the place. We got to meet  most of the US earache staff which was damn cool cus they were enjoying the show. Also got to meet Anthony from Heavy Artillery he was a cool dude as well. Show was amazing pure mayhem. People really digged our set and went crazy for the TMNT song. I LOVE NY.  Thank you to all the dudeds that came down from the Brox and made this show fucking great! Westcoast eastcoast love. I almost forgot. We had white castle for the first time this night. I was a bit dissapointed. The harold and kumar movie made it seem so damn epic. its not.

Quote of the day " We will make a big little planet for BBB and they will play thrash music!?!" - Summer Lacy

3/29/2009 Boston MA- THE METAL HALL
So after getting lost trying to find the statue of liberty we decide to go to Boston. We get to celtic land and end up at a Wendys. We stay there most of the night until its time to load in. We play at a small but bad ass place where Ravage rehearses. at first it seems like no one was going to be ther but as the night gets younger the people keep walking in. Drummer of Into Eternity shows up randomly whis is pretty damn cool. I start unpacking all the merch and start drinking. This night i got very damn drunk. It was 10 bucks to get in and unlimited beer. 2 big monster kegs. I start going up and Silent Violence from New Hampshire is up. They are very fucking metal with a punk twist. I digged them im glad they got the show started. Up next was Razormaze. I had heard so much great stuff about them and I thought their myspace stuff was fantastic. They were one fo the greats of the night no joke balls out fucking metal. I became really good friends with Alex of Razormaze and possible westcoast tour is in the works. After them it was Ravage who are new to the Metalblade roster. They were very power thrash. Enjoyed their set as i went off to get more drunk. Witchvane was up next but i couldnt catch most of their set or Exmortus due to a Razormaze interview i took part of. I got to meet Tom from Lich King and he was a funny guy. We go on stage and the place goes wild. People are killing each other as i watch. Boston is a fucking blast. Razormaze became great friends with us. WESTCOAST-EASTCOAST LOVE. I LOVE BOSTON WE WILL BE BACK!!

Quote of the day " You guys are a bunch of fags" Alex of Razormaze.

3/31/2009 Cleveland Ohio- Now Thats Class.
Cleaveland Ohio. What can I say about this show. Well We get there kinda of late cus of so many distractions. We Go to Canada on our way to Cleaveland. Our first sight seeing experience. We take a gander at the Niagra Falls. Everything wa spretty damn cool. We were running late so it was off to Ohio from there. We get to the show and Witchaven is already there waiting. We play with some very cool bands. Mortifier Vindicator and Superchrist. The 2 Ohio bands were incredible. Mortifier kept me headbanging the whole night. Vindicator went up and i think they are way better live. They have an incredible frontman with so much energy and seems to control the stage as if it was his. Up next it was Superchrist from Chicago. These guys were very Motorhead like. Vocals and riffs all reminded me of Motorhead.  Good band none the less. We end up playing at 1 am. Surprisingly everyone a lot of people stick around and have a blast. I guess the rumors are true. CLEVELAND DOES ROCKS.

Quote of the day for Cleveland "Why do I have to ask you for an extra cheeseburger" -Henry

4/2/2009 Detroit Michigan-Blondies.
So the night after Cleveland we were suppose to play Bay City Michigan. We had been trying to call the promoter for about 2 weeks now. There was no damn flyer no promotion and he wouldnt call back. We decide to cancel and just go straight to Detroit. We end up stopping at a Walmart to get some food to grill.Burgers that taste like beans and weenies. I end up taking some Nyquil and knocking the fuck out. Someone wakes me up to the news of the van being stuck in the mud. Turns out Mario of Exmortus was going the wrong way on one way street. He decided to bust a bitch on some grass and it ended up being muddy and the tire got stuck. We all get out to try to push it out. After a hr of nothing and Mario getting hurt from a flying piece of wood we end up calling AAA. We start grillling and eating some bad burgers. The AAA guy comes to the rescue and its off to DETROIT!!! We end up at this legendary club named Blondies. Name any band you love they have played there. Pestilence Exodus Death Carcass Nuclear Assault Cro Mags Megadeth Metallica Testament. just to name a few.  I guess Detroit was happening in the 80's.  I end up going to eat some mexican food in the mexican part of detroit. Pretty damn good authentic shit. The show is about to start and there is pretty good amount of people. Some real die hards at the show. Carlos the Detroit Mexican as he likes to be called was buying me pitchers of beer and shots of tequila. Atomic Destructor was acool guy to hang out with. All in all it was a great damn show . You better loose your mind in Detroit ROCK CITY!

We are in Fort Wayne Indiana at the moment getting ready to play.
More on that on the next blog

4/3/2009 Fort Wayne Indiana- Miss Q's Complex
So after Detroit some dude tells us Canada is only 10 min. away. We all cheer and its up to Canada. We get hassled at customs. They search all our van and cant understand why we would want to go to Canada at 2 in the morning to sight see. We end up getting in and staying in Canada for about 30 min. We realized it was a dumb idea. So off to Fort Wayne. The show was bad ass. First time playing Indiana and people treat it us like kings. Id like to thank Eric for the hospitality and letting us watch Total Recall. Oh that Arnie.

4/4/2009 Aurora IL-Dougs Rock House
After a great night in Indiana we were pumped for Chicago. Never playing there but hearing great things was enough. We also heard rumors about how great the hot dogs were so we had to pick some up. Well we end up at the venue and Diamond Plate greets us with a smile and hug. We start unloading and I see a good crowd better than expected. The rest of thew night i spend it getting drunk. Had some family come down and you know how that goes. We went up and people were going nuts. I love Chicago I honestly cant wait to go back!!! Oh hot dogs were great!

Ive gotten lots of messages of why i havent updated the blog. Well these last few days i get really bad connections and I havent had enough time to write. Its kind of hard to do the whole tour thing and sit down and write. so sit down and have some patience with me. Im glad you guys are enjoying it.

-Jose

4/7/2009 Des Moines Iowa- Vaudville Mews
Well what a night to remember. Des Moines fucking Iowa. Home of Slipknot and thats all can come up with. I personally dont like that band but thats all I know about this state. We get to the downtown area of Des Moines.Looks really cool. You know your normal Downtown big buildings people walking around really expensive restaurants and bars. This show turns out to be an early show. Starts at 5 ends at 9. We dont get a huge turnout but its decent. The people that do come out really seem to go nuts. There was one opening band but I didnt catch their name. They were pretty damn cool. They were more on the grindcore side but where pretty legit. I watched them for a bit and I got hungry. There was this place across the street that was giving away free pizza with a purchase of a soda. Decent pizza had better on tour. The touring bands go on after and the people that are ther seem to enjoy each one. Im glad Iowa digged us. The bartender was one of the coolest dudes. He got us all drunk and on our way to Kansas City.

Quote of the day:
"Hey we are going to be in Fresno soon"- Balmore
"Oh yeah?"-Ruben
"My cousin Daniel lives out there I think you will like him"-Balmore
"WTF! Stop trying to fix me up you fucking homo"-Ruben

4/8/2009 Kansas City MO-The Riot Room
So after Iowa we head over to Kansas City. i didnt really know what to expect. Exmortus said that its a great place to play and what not. This place was located in college town. Lots and lots of hot girls. Im not gunna lie Kansas City is flooded with the fine ladies. This is a 21+ venue. Shit is fucking packed for a wedsnday night.  All the bands did fucking great. We had a great after party at fans house. They made us food in the morning and are following us to Nebraska. All I know is that every band was drunnk by the end of the night.

next stop Lincoln Nebraska.

Quote of the day

"Yo soy el original del grupo"-Henry (speaking spanish)

funnier if you hear it.

4/9/2009 Lincoln Nebraska- Knickerbocker
What a fucking night. I honestly didnt expect much from Nebraska specially not on a Thursday night. Im glad Nebraska proved me wrong. There was 2 opening bands Inhuman Design and Ezra. I digged both bands. One thrash band the other a really cool death metal band. Well the show starts and there is not a lot of people. Once the touring bands start coming up it starts to fucking pack up. What a great night and show this was. The fans were going bezerk. I can feel they were hungry for some real metal. Stage diving and moshing all fucking night. One of my favorite stops on the tour, We will gladly come back to Nebraska. There was 25 cent tacos all night and well we stuffed ourselves.  Thank you Joe and crew for everything. Booking the show interview and going fucking wild.

4/10/2009 Englewood (denver) Colorado- Moes BBQ
Well we have been to Colorado twice before this time. We know what to expect from the rocky mountain state. Everytime we are up there we stay at our good friends house (Dave from Havok) and we always end up playing with them. Always have a good turn out and always a good show. This time around was no exception. We get to Colorado early so we head over to Daves house. We watch Total Recall for the 2nd time on tour take some shower and take some naps. Off to the show where they fed us some BBQ ribs. Greatest meal on tour. We get to see some familiar faces from previous shows we have had in Colorado so thats always nice. We also get to see a familiar face from California. Our friend Emily from San Jose is in Denver for vacation and pops in and gets us drunk. This show was fantastic lots of beer lots of good people and all great bands. Thank you Richie for all the beers Thank you Emily for all the shots Thank you Mama Havok for all the hospitality Thank you to all the familiar faces and all the new ones. Colorado is always fucking great. Thank you Havok for always tearing shit up in Colorado with us.

Tonight we are in Montana!

4/11/2009 Billings Montana- FOE
Everyone always tells us there is nothing Montana. They have been proven wrong for the 2nd time. This was our 2nd time at this same exact venue. First time was last year with Merciless Death. Therewas a crazy crowd hungry for metal. This year was way more fun. People were destroying the place. We will be coming back time after time. Montana is the place to stop by. One of our favorite stops on the tour.

4/13/2009 Salt Lake City Utah-The Outer Rim
We had a day off in between to relax sleep and eat. I didnt know what to expect from SLC. I know we were suppose to be there 2 times before and couldnt make it for one thing or another. We get tp the venue and the place is really packed. One of the fans even hands us inyls she painted with each band member on it. We have gotten gifts before but these have to be the coolest. 2 pretty cool bands played Killbot and Deception. This one was a funny show cus it was one where Alex got more drunk then all of us combined but he pulled out a great fucking show. Thank you to Juan Montes and his friends for singing every damn song word for word.

Tonight we are in Boise Idaho. Tomorrow is Seattle Washington

almost close to home.4/16/2009 Seattle Washington- Studio 7
So the night before we were in Boise Idaho. To tell you the truth I don't really remember shot from it. There was a lot of chaos that day involving broken windows cops and lots of booze. I wish i can really remember. On to Seattle. We had been to Washington early last yr and it wasn't that great. I wasn't expecting much from the good ol apple state known mostly for Nirvana grunge and where Starbucks started. There was major traffic driving from Boise to Seattle. A 8 hr drive with lots of traffic. We have the wrong address but a few calls to some buddies in Washington and we get the right address. Studio 7 is a very legit place. I was really digging the vibes. There was 3 local bands that i really digged that night. I cant remember  the first bands name but they were kick ass. The 2nd band blew me away, they were more on the heavy metal side and very epic Sword of Judgment was their name. After  them it was our buddies from HMP. What an awesome band.  I got to talk to a lot of interesting people that night and that was pretty cool. Got to drink on top of the roof and there even was a guy from Pomona there. This show was definitely crazy. We hit the stage and the place literally went insane. i knew we were in the west coast once all the damn crowd surfing and pits were breaking out. I honestly loved the show and cant wait to get back to Washington. Thank you Washington for showing me that you guys aren't just Nirvana Grunge and Starbucks. Big Thanks to all the HMP and SOJ guys for putting on the show. Big thanks to Taylor Erin Amber and Liz for all the beers and that Four LOKO. To the dudes that were there last yr in Washington and came down once again and tore shit up. To all the fucking maniacs in Washington we will be back soon.

Tonight we are in Portland!
4/17/2009 Portland Oregon-The Satyricon
The night before this we were in Seattle and I think I told you guys how great that was. We had only played Portland once before this time and It wasnt what we expected. The bands on tour, Witchaven and Exmortus, had played Portland a couple more times than us. This day it combined 2 tours together on one night. We had the Masters of Disasters Tour and The Zombie Holocaust and Premunition Tour. They are all good friends from Cali. Well show has 2 local bands on the bill plus 5 out of town bands. There is a good amount of people through out the night. A lot leave before we play since we go on at about 1 in the morning. All in all it was great fun and cant wait to get back to Portland again. The greatest damn part of Oregon was the after party. No one really expected this one. See every time we stop by in Portland we visit Carlos (our drummer) cousin who lives in Troutdale Oregon. About 20 minutes away from downtown Oregon. This guy is the fucking man. He grilled us a massive bbq bought us cases and cases of beer and 2 gallons of Jagger. Wow there was so much chaos going on by the end of the night shit was out of control. Everyone ended up barfing by the end of the night. Juan ended up peeing his pants. Balmore kept banging his head on the bathtub. Conan barfed in the living room and all night long. Shit was amazing.  Sunday we finally get into California after 2 months on the road.

BONDED BY BLOOD
'Feed The Beast'
EARACHE
The question remains thus: Will thrash metal turn out to be a timeless musical form, like, say, garage-punk, that soldiers on regardless of the fickle vagaries of fashion? Or is the current renaissance merely a transiently thrilling flavour-of-the-month? Whichever, the smart money would be on Bonded By Blood's debut platter o'splatter going the distance beyond the current salad-days. 'Feed The Beast' is so ferociously tight and furiously adept that it simply couldn't have been made in the mid-'80s, but its spirit, as the rather-too-obvious band-name lets slip, is firmly in the rather-less-politicised realm of early Exodus and Overkill; a rabid torrent of satisfyingly gonzo vocals, GIT-graduate axe-shredding, and frantic youthful energy. 21st century thrash's tendency to function as brain-dead party music rather than the dystopian clangour of yore continues unabated: Yet 'Feed The Beast' is simply such a hell-for-leather blast that such concerns are flung onto the same toxic waste dump as your old copy of Slammer's 'The Work Of Idle Hands'.

Kerrang gives us 4 out of 5 K's

Saturday, May 31, 2008

I always wanted to have some kind of nickname for our fans (if any) but considering our name we really can have a cool fan nickname that relates to the band. The best I can think of is Blood heads or bloody tampons but those suck.

Well that went completely off topic

If any of you BLOOD HEADS have been wondering whats been going on in BBB's world then you have too much time in your hands.

Well first of all we are preparing for our Album release thats date always seems to be changing. Earache now has a set date of June 9th in UK/Europe and June 24th in USA alongside our Irish kin Gama Bomb. So if you guys haven't DL it yet pick it up. Even if you have pick it up. It has really cool album booklet mentions cool people I have never met. The point of this is get it we have been getting great reviews besides the THIS ISN'T ORIGINAL rants of some.

Now on to the tours part of the whole thing. As all of you may know we are going on a big happy family tour with MD and FBF which should kick ass. If this does not come to your town don't worry about it we will be in your town in Aug. we are setting up more and more tours throughout the yr.

EUROPE, there is a big possibility of us being in Europe in September so look out for that. This should be really fun heard the old country is a blast. Hope all the European BLOOD HEADS come out and throw tomatoes at us.

Besides all the good bookings and album releases

We have been writing new shit for the 2nd album. Its sounding really good.

Yeah that is all other than the usual booze and chicks and chicks and booze or drunken booze chicks.
