Current mood:  breezy
So, I drove home to my parents a week or so ago and was able to scrounge up even more older PROGRESS songs.  I decided to put them up on our Peekok site if any of you guys were interested in hearing what we were like at 13/14 years old.  The songs are called The Eye's Aurora and Windbreaker.  They haven't been available since 1999.  They were the last two songs we wrote before officially becoming The Progress.  We always talked about playing them and never did.  So here they are (finally).   I also put the first Christmas song up on there too.  It's called Christmas In Rittenhouse Square.

Also -- If you haven't downloaded the S/T EP or the GOLDEN STATE EP, get on tha as well!!

The only songs I haven't been able to find are the original demos of ...And Straight On Till Morning and 676/76. I also can't find a basement tape of us playing a song called Josey Wales Found The Stars (which we never recorded... for good reason).  If/When I find these, I will make them available as well.

THANKS!

the first two EP's (GOLDEN STATE / SELF TITLED) are available once again.

you can download both.  it's cheaper to just get them at once.  we've priced them both at $5 and included the xmas songs as part of the deal.  we hope you enjoy!  thanks so much for everything.

if you're still looking for a copy of MERIT, i'm selling my last remaining copies for $7... that includes shipping.  i also have stickers left over... those will get thrown in.  paypal exandoh@hotmail.com if you want a copy.

I've been getting a bunch of e-mails and messages about purchasing the SELF TITLED and GOLDEN STATE ep's. Both of these releases are now out of print and will not be repressed (as a matter of fact, we hadn't had copies of either of these since 2006).

However, in the upcoming weeks, we'll be making both of these releases available digitally as well as posting the lyrics to all of the songs. If I can find the files, we will also be including MIDWEST PT. ONE (which was a demo of 76/676 and And Straight On Till Morning), the three christmas songs (Christmas In Rittenhouse Square, Jingle Bell Broke and Half New Year) as well as a couple songs pre-dating the first EP titled The Eye's Aurora and The Outlaw Josey Wales.

In the meantime, if you can track down the stuff for free, the tracklists are as follows...

SELF TITLED (2001, Maroon Set Recordings)
1. A Drug Called Tradition
2. Isla De Pascua
3. Christmas Eve
4. The Saddest Way
5. Every Breath Is Gold

GOLDEN STATE (2004, Watch The City Burn Records)
1. Straight Shot From St. Lou
2. We Could Have Done This All As Friends
3. 676/76
4. ...And Straight On Till Morning

ARBOR REC'S XMAS SONGS (2005, 2006, 2007; Arbor Records)
