—Songwriter Tony is behind "I Need You" (Tim & Faith), "Letters From Home" (John Michael Montgomery), "A Little Past Little Rock" (Lee Ann Womack) and other hits. His self-titled album has already yielded a Trace Adkins cut, "I Came Here to Live." Its lead-off track reveals that the writer is equally potent as a vocalist. His slightly bluesy, moody delivery of the ballad is loaded with charisma. Needless to say, I stuck around for all 13 tracks, and it was a terrific listening experience.
