many thanks to all of those that came out to hang with WHUS at our first FREE indie rock showcase at UConn.  we want to do this much more, and for free for all you guys so your support means so much to us.  the great turnout we had, fantastic energy and no problems only wants to make us do it again.  also many thanks go out to the UConn Hillel for letting up use the space for the show.

Democratic presidental nominee Dennis Kucinich will be interviewed live on WHUS Saturday 2/17 from 6:00-7:00 pm.  Afterward Kucinich will do a meet-and-greet in the Student Union lobby at 8:00 pm.  If you'd like to meet the man or are at all interested in knowing more about this nominee for president, listen to WHUS or come to the SU that night!

if you missed the UConn homecoming parade this year, well then you most likely missed out on one of the sweetest float to grace this parade.  WHUS took over the parade and pilaged all the frat boys and stole their wenches and the pirates of WHUS took back the seas from lame party floats.  make sure to check out the pictures on whus.org, yeararhhhh!!
