Aaron Ross terrorizes Dante's every Tuesday night as Ed Forman, a frenetic, oversexed, foul-mouthed 1970s talkshow host who abuses local notables (and not-so-notables), roams the audience stealing drinks and flinging insults and generally makes mayhem. Imagine Stephen Colbert as a libidinous sociopath. Ross' lacerating wit and bottomless energy make for a hilarious evening of great gags and public humiliation. As Ed Forman Turns...

The saga that is our show in Salem at The Space continues as we will be going on a bit of a hiatus due to powers beyond our control.

That means no show this weekend, but do not worry Salem fans, it may not take longer than a couple weeks for us to be back up and running, as we are currently in talks with several venues to transplant the show, and keep it a weekly fixture in the Cherry City.

We want to thank The Space for all the support, and please know this ladies and gentlemen...that we will be back at The Space and it will thrive because of good people like you.

May was a wild month for The Ed Forman Show at Dante's.

Our first three shows of May I EDfectionately refer to as the Tit Trilogy; three debaucherous nights that features plenty of ladies, skin, bumpin n grindin! Let's break down the highlights...

First was Cinco de Mayo. The gorgeous Nikki, a go-go dancer, was our guest, and she was only the second person (other than Channing Frye) to get a perfect score on her RapED Fire (no surprise, as I would say yes to anything she said). Plenty of shots of tequilla later, and one of our most EDpic and boozy shows ever ended with nose dive into two pools of very inviting blonde breasts (that I was told cost $8000, but i say they're Priceless!).

Second was May 12, and our night with Miss Nude Oregon, Sophia Johnson. After a chugging contest threw cocktail straws against a Sasquatch (courtesty of WEND Magazine), Miss Nude and I went toe to toe with some Indian Strip Poker capped off with a little Truth or Dare. I dared myself to lick Miss Nude Oregon from toe nail to the top of her head in one slow tongue lashing. After a couple laps around second base, we had one of the most pleasurable EDsperiences with a woman without either one of us taking of our panties.

May 19...now that was one of the craziest night's we'd ever seen on our stage at Dante's! It was our Women's EDpowerment Show...ladies, ladies, and more ladies, there's no such thing as too many ladies! Our co-host, MaRollin' Monroe, from the Rose City Roller Girls, became the 1st lady of The Ed Forman Show, and our first female co-host. She was wonderful, and help lube up a show that was already slippin n sliddin around. Interviewing the busty Barber Babes was a true pleasure, and owner Mindy's clevage reminded me of childhood trips to the Grand Canyon. Later, Sheena, the owner of G-Spot lingerie modeling clubs, gave of one of our most out of control interviews of all time. Sheena moaning in audience members ears, showcasing the dirty talk tips she gives in her article in Exotic Magazine. And myself, Ed Forman, riding MaRollin and EDhibiting how EDpowering a loud and vocal male orgasm can be for both partners (which sounded a little like this: OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! AHHHH!!! EEEEERRRGGG!!! MY BALLS ARE GOING TO EXPLODE!!!! ARRRRGSHHSFDSOJHD SPLOOOOOOOGE!!!!) Sheena always gave me a couple wondeful gifts, two different cock rings, both of which I tried on at the same time, and later threw into arms of EDoring fans (which I EDographed later).

This week on the program (May 26), we had a wonderful audience, and a chaotic, EDspired, and unpredictable night. My stalker, Craig Dimply, dressed up as me, and stayed in character, become Ed #2, and actually starting of my interview with t-shirt designer, Thai Boyd. After I put #2 to work for me (Dewar's refiller) a wasted/half retarded Ed Forman #3 showed up, bumblin and stumblin all over the place, breaking glasses and hearts. As you know, a copy of a copy isn't nearly as sharp as the original, and that was #3. When our interview with Miss Steak was wrapping up, I was scissoring her, #2 was dropping puns, and #3 was dropping his Moose Knuckling revealing pants.

A killer month for "The Ed Forman Show, with ME! ED FORMAN!" We're also rocking Friday night in Salem at the Space and starting June 25, we will be performing every Thursday night at Luckey's in Eugene. And of course, as Thai Boyd said last night, "Thank you Portland!!!" We'll be back at Dante's June 9 our Dante's homebase, and have more wild times planned for the 6th month of 2009!

Yes, unfortunately capital city fans of The Ed Forman Show, once again the powers that be have decided to move our program to a new time slot in order to boost ratings for another show. 

So in short, we are once again playing at our original time slot of 8pm at The Space Friday nights. And remeber, still no cover, because we want to offer each and every citizen of Salem the opportunity to Laugh, Love, and Live on Friday nights!!!

That's right, back to 8pm to 10pm...Primetime baby! Please help us out by showing up promptly at 8pm so that we can begin on time and give you 100,10,100 % of your daily Vitamin E&D.

Call me the Boss! I marathon run through comedy, interviews, and variety madness, like well trained, grizzled veteran; except without the grizzle or the training.

"Fucking Jimmy Fallon!...that's my job!"  - Ed Forman, motivational speaker and cunninglinguist.

In print, and on stage, those words don't look right, but I think you know what I mean. The late-show is mine! And I'm going to take it!!!

That's how I felt during Friday night's "Great ED's Show," while interviewing Portland Trailblazer's Forward/Center/Personality, Channing Frye. Indeed it was one of the Great ED's moments of my career. Channing and I got lost admist a sea of laughter and the glow of a well-entertained audience. We passed the verbal ball back and forth with ease, like comedic Globetrotters. This young man has a prosperous post-NBA career ready for him after hoops is done, and it showed on stage. He is funny, quick, and witty. From Arizona, and 5 year NBA veteran via NY, Channing has embraced Portland, and it's vow to stay "Weird." Believe me, as he sat between myself and my #1 son, Bed Forman, he was getting weird in stereo. We spoke of all things hoops, including B.Roy's scrappy-playoff beard, how Oden is aging backwards, how we differ in our post game celebrations (I do the "Donkey Kong" dance, he just pumps his fist and points and a random audience member), and my ABA nickname: Sexual Tapioca. As a man about town, and a relative pop culture freak, we slanged hilarious tangents like Rudy jumpers from deep in three-point range, including: favorite video games, kickball, facial hair trends, Burt Reynolds, interplanetary funkmanship, and pearl necklaces...

Speaking of the Blazers, we have this Tuesday off, but we will be back April 7, for our regular slot, with a Blazer's themed show, featuring guests Darth Blazer (a intergalatic mega-fan, who dresses up as Darth Vader in red n black) and Blazer Bruce (an almost 70 year old RV salesman, who has made it on to the jumbo-tron at the Rose Garden every game this season, thanks to his delightful, celebratory, dance moves).
