Hey, Wat up, Y'all?  Sciub here giving a holla.  It's been a long time since I piped up.  So just as I'm "between jobs", Sorv is starting a couple of new ones.  Tony Big Dick, our in-house rock of stability, is unchanged in the employment realm.  What does all this mean? That I am honing my piss poor computer skills once again in an effort to push the C43 name around.  A little spare time blended carefully with a nauseating sense of stagnation can get me doing funny things sometimes, like updating a blog.  Look, we're on it.  We have been working on a few new tunes, building Sorv up for his new (additional) role as guitarist for 12-Step Revenge, and getting our new old van on the road.  We're anxious to play shows, near and far, and would love it if you beautiful people would suggest a town or venue in which you would like to see us play.  Reply, listen to the songs (for FREE) on this very site - I mean shit, we have like a thousand of 'em posted -, and speak highly of us wherever you go.  Is that asking a lot? ;)

Had a good meeting with Doug and Big Dan from DPX last weekend to figure out some behind the scenes type shit. We need some money, so if yous want to send us any we'll take it. We're going to get a new sample CD together in the very near future to give out to people as a promo. The Cold Day In Purgatory album will follow in some form. Trying to get a new old van also. COME TO THE TRIPLE IN RVA NEXT SATURDAY MARCH 14. We're playing.

Alright! This is Sciub again, Y'all.  My first experience ever with a blog was okay.  I made it out unscathed- so far.  Seems that it pulled a comment or two from you folks - especially Brian, my old drum student.  First of all, Brian, thanks for keeping up with us, I know its been a while.  I'll figure out a way to send you a message one of these days.  I want to know how things are with you- school, playing, etc.  As for the rest of yous- you're slacking.  This past week we've been making plans for our near-future progress.  Work has been a little overwhelming for Tony Big Dick and myself.  Tony is a computer genius and I'm a beer delivery guy.  Both of our bosses have been pretty thick on the demands lately.  Whatever.  Sorv has been heading up the effort to find us a new vessel of love - you know, a van.  Taking over the world will be easier with one.  Next week will be important as well because our boy Doug at DPX will be coming down to Charlottesville with Big Dan and we will have a band retreat of sorts.  How does this relate to you?  Pressings of the new album, and maybe even the previous one, "3160 Ellwood Ave." will be among the first orders of business.  That just means that we will finally be on the road to getting some beautiful, full-length albums ready for your consumption.  HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT VINYL?  That is this week's poll question.  We really want to press at least the newest album on vinyl.  It's significantly more expensive, but also significantly cooler than CDs or other forms of media. Will you guys buy it? Feedback, por favor!! Holla, Holla.

So what's up, y'all. Sorv has been getting on me about never doing anything with or for the myspace page. So at long last, at least to him, here I am. The C43 has opened a new chapter in our book of being a badass, struggling rock band. OG Tony Big Dick is back with us and I'm not sure if that's old news to you guys or not. Either way, we're excited about it. He was with us for our first four and a half years, then absent for the last five and a half. We wrote a lot of good songs with him back then, and look forward to the ones to come. BK stepped down after a few years because he had different things that he was trying to get out of his C43 experience that have been absent for a while. Sorv and I had to look at our time differently than we had for the first 8 years of our time together. And it's cool. We just have to use our time and energy differently since I live now an hour away from RVA, and he has been touring his ass off roadying(?) for Jack's Mannequin. So anyways- we were lucky to make such a smoothe and effortless transition to Tony Big Dick-Book 2. There it is.
Hit me back now. If I get discouraged from lack of feedback I may never turn on a computer again.
