LA RECORD just interviewed us yesterday and I guess they are making posters
of me and thavius for SXSW. I hope we go!

what up fellows...
after parlaying in extravagant and often dangerous ways,
we're back in the building. the first ever san diego show
was sick, big up drum warz, master orko hassan, sumach,
gaslamp k.w., max carnage young mic tappen and every
one else who came out for the festivities. (including those
two super fine girls who has sick shoes and tried to initially
front, but after the show did what a fan does to no avail.
a-ha.) now we are working on the new-new long player
"disco mathmatick" due spring/summer on briefcase
rockers LTD. jocking our pals no age, there's a high
possibility that we may drop more than one piece of vinyl
in more than one place, starting with the "canIgetithowYOUlive"
e.p. due out by the end of the month as a picture disc 7"
in an edition of 500 (our favorite number) for the people.

it'll be the last day at NAMM and we'll be saying peacers
to the ableton corp and our homies at m-audio torq sect.
thanks to ableton for putting thav on and in turn letting
him put me on with the tutorial program. thanks to rich,
r dizzle, nosajthing and all the other fine folks at m-audio
for showing support and throwing us on their comp and
such dem ting. by the time you read this and lay down,
we'll be gearing up to play a crevice show with math
prog rock titans upsilon acrux along with a number
of sick groups, our big brother and OG labwaste
member chris hathwell of the moving units will
be on perpetual deck, so who knows???
rafter roberts will also be there, he's the dr. dre
of the 90's/ 2000's san diego indie scene...

like king kong. we deejay tonite at call in sick

so the tour was a success on the people walking in the room and tripping
out department. we even got to showcase our new dance persona for the
people! damn! uh, sorry to marseilles for getting mad at the end of the
show for f**king up an accapella and sorry to the whole U.K. for not even
showing up there for reasons left in the crev. thanks to lait'dbac for making
it go down, b.e.a.r. france for having fools backs all over, alex in geneva for
being the ultimate gracious homie and professional booking agent. I wish
switzerland was the world. thanks for paris and geneva for having us twice
and going to both shows! thanks to everyone at the rennes and montpellier
shows for making them the landmarks that they inexplicably were! thanks to
the homie who sold us the SHADY phones! High Tech Computer, you hoe!
thanks to Les Gourmets, J.C. Lyon, France and the homie at shoez gallery
for making that a pocket pressing holiday! no thanks to the homie at sofa
records for having THE most insane collection ever. with the exception of the
homie in montpellier who had the ganja k. sized sack and RIDICULOUS vinyl
on deck. that dDamage/labwaste combo is still coming and a big shout-out
goes to mr. kouglof and big gidget for being the ultimate party animals and
giving me the golden key! thanks to everyone at the last show in geneva,
especially elodie who wanted to dance onstage and chloe for being alive and
buying a CD. what's up to the insane male fans who talk more than me and
the really, really faded dudes in marseilles who wouldn't stop dancing onstage.
everyone in that venue was on one. OH SHIT!! big, big ups to yarah bravo, icon
the bad ass and tez who killed paris. killed it. pure human music F.S.U.ed
marseilles. more later upon request. thanks st. etienne on the real. that city set the pace of the tour.

the secret free beauty bar show went down as the pic on the left
shows. one mic, one megaphone, one time. 2 emcees.....
thanks to everyone who came out and kicked it for our
10 minutes of doom! 5 songs in 10 minutes!
we're getting ready for our first official european tour and that
should be off the market! we're also supposed to colab with the
homies dDamage, we'll let you know what the time is on that
one!!!

I went with thavius to LOw End Theory and he
murked it. taz from sa-ra said he was down
to co-executive produce the record when we
get picked up by somebody. I was so drunk,
I started rapping! six songs later, we boned
out......

trivia about labwaste that is probably slept on:
1.thav had cedric from the mars volta on his 1st release for
mush that no one bought
2.ikey from the same group played keyboard all over lost love stays
lost, which is a subtitle release
3.GSL is the reason labwaste exists. if sonny kay hadn't said
in fader magazine that he was releasing a labwaste record for
2004, they wouldn't have recorded the project.
4.gino's favorite rapper is thurston moore, thav's is trent reznor

it seems dumb, but labwaste's 1 problem in doing more
over the years was interest in visibility. we literally fucked
around and got on the cover of the mag back in the day,
got a good review and that was that. we want to be a virus
