So what has The Bypass been up to lately? Well folks here is the rundown! We have been playing a lot of shows. We have been working on writing new music, and also competing in a competition or two! It’s been good.
First: We have finally aquired a tour vehicle. It is a old St. Joseph transit shuttle bus that we have done a few modifications to. So we have a vehicle. Thanks to everyone that has prayed for us, supported us financially, and also just helped in general. It really opens the door for us to get out there and do what we are supposed to be doing.
Second: Festival’s and shows. Please make sure to check our calendar on MySpace. That is the most current and up to date account of our tour schedule. I know we will be out to Colorado, up to Michigan, and down to Memphis area this year so please take time to come hang with us while we are out.
Last: What are we planning for now? Well here is the deal. We know you are wanting more music from us, and we are wanting to give it to you. So we are now heading in the direction of choosing songs for our next album, and gathering the money to get this recording under way. We have been talking with producer Mark Nash from PFR to hopefully be doing this next album. The positive note is. He’s good! The downside is it takes money my friends!!! So being praying for us and make sure to come to every show you can to support us! Thanks so much for everything you guys do!

Best Friend by Jeremy Sharp I feel your hand on my shoulder It feels like the softest rain on my face The blanket of your grace surrounds me I feel the warmth of your embrace
In this life you’ve kept me Open arms you’ve accepted In my need you helped me In my tears you held me You are my best friend, Jesus You are my best friend
You are my,
You are my mother, you are my father, you love me more, more than my brother, you are my best friend, Jesus

Always There by Jeremy Sharp
I am a fool. I’ve let so much tear me away, you are so true, and your love endures to stay
Your always there, Your always there for me The deepest friend, you will never leave
Space devours time, but you still claim everything With all that is and ever was, you still choose to know me
I never meant to break your heart and make you cry I’m just a silly child.
I know you only want whats best, help me change the rest, Forgive me God

All That You Are by Jeremy Sharp Yes I know, I’m back and forth, I love you yes but am I good enough All the wrong shows, you deserve more than what I am, and I can’t give no more.
Do,do,do,do,do,do…do,do,do,do,do,do,do,do,do,do
Understand I know. All the hidden things you hide from me and think I don’t see. Undecided faith, falter back and forth with yes I do, and I just don’t know.
I want you for all that you are, but to say I do, is going to far Going to fast, can’t keep up at this pace, I’m afraid, I am losing this race For you, but I can’t say it.
When do you let go, I love you true but I can’t twist your arm make you come with me This can only last so long, I will wait for you, but soon I must see and be seen

Hard To Fit by Jeremy Sharp in between these written lines. hides everything undefined. I've been carrying this around inside pocket and my leg is chaffing from all the weight of it.
Explanations of what might have been always depends on the open ends, the unkept drawers and dusty lofts the hanging cobwebs conceal all that’s lost.
Beat out the truth in your tin made heart Pull back the edges reveal the tart Taste of pain of over and over again
I’m not who I thought I was, Something worse I’ve hid from you. I’m trying so hard to fit whats right. I’m sorry I’m trying to so hard to fit whats right I’m trying I’m sorry it’s hard to fit whats right

The evening was an amazing experience from the bands perspective and from the fans mouths they had a similar experience. First before going into the story of the evening we would like to thank everyone that donated their lamps for this evenings stage set up. Also we would like to thank Brannon & Jill Powers, and Adam and Amanda for coming out and sharing their amazing music with us. It was a pleasure to share the stage with you. We couldn’t have hoped for a better evening. Well the evening went spectacularly. In attendance were about 250 or so of our very dear friends. Thanks for all of the support. The stage was set with about 40-50 different lamps from all sorts of people. Thanks for the assistance. We sent out a plea via facebook and many people responded. Thanks to you we had an awesome stage set up!! For those that are curious we are already starting on the mix down and video editing of this evening. Hopefully we will have a product out soon to share with people. Keep an eye on our myspace and facebook for sneak peaks of that concert. I’m sure you all will enjoy it!!! Thanks for everything see you at the next event!
