Cougar return to the States fresh off a European tour and the release of their first 
record - Patriot - for renowned indie powerhouse label Ninja Tune/Counter, with shows in 
Chicago, Stevens Point, Madison and New York City.

The band's first album (Law - mixed/recorded with John McEntire of Tortoise/The Sea and 
Cake/Soma fame) was critically lauded, but the release of Patriot sees Cougar stepping 
truly into their own, backed by a label that has been synonymous with progressive music 
for the past 15 years.
