We are super stoked to announce that we are covering the SXSW music conference in Austin, Texas. If there is a band that will be there that you think we should check out, let us know. we are absolutely honored to be covering lollapalooza in august. after our incredible experience at langerado we can't even imagine what this event will be like. to keep with tradition, it's time for the routine: what do YOU want us to ask these musicians when we interview them?

since this festival isn't in our home state like langerado was, we aren't taking our street teamers with us to pass out stickers. if you're into our show and are attending lollapalooza, shoot us an email (themerryandrews@gmail.com) with your mailing address and we'll mail you some stickers. let us know if you just want a few to wear or if you want a bunch to pass out. we will love you forever :)

poprockcandymountain.com was founded in 2007 and is devoted to getting the inside scoop from actors, comedians, musicians, and artists. This doesn’t mean that they read Star Magazine, or TMZ, and blog about it. They actually do compelling interviews with all of these people. The best part? They never say a bad word about anyone. They are dedicated to being a positive source of information. If they think someone sucks, they just simply DON’T interview them.

We are huge fans of the website and have thoroughly enjoyed reading interviews they have done with Flavor Flav, Kyle Glass, Matt Pond PA, Zach Galifianakis, Henry Rollins (and many MANY more). So, imagine how flattered we were when one of our very own was asked to write a weekly indie music column for them! The column will run every Friday, but even if you don’t care about what we have to say, you should still go check out the site and read all of their awesome interviews.

To read our little piece: if you go to the website on a Friday it will be on the main home page. If you do not go on a Friday (which would be sinful) it can be found under "Inside: Rock Candy Record Reviews."

We are major advocates for this website because they write about shit they WANT to write about, sort of like how we play the music that we WANT to play. We are both a bunch of people not answering to "the man" and trying to start a revolution so please support this website (and our column, of course).

we usually record our shows on sunday nights, but unfortunately one of the merry andrews (marc) will be at a funeral this sunday. he lost his grandmother last week and we hope that all of you keep his family in your thoughts.

we will either be recording the next episode on wednesday, which means you will get two new episodes back to back! or we will skip this week all together and record our next episode next sunday.
