Current mood:  aggravated
Category: Romance and Relationships

two new songs up this afternoon, for your pleasure.

- MISS WORLD 1974 (new demo)
- THE COLOSSUS

miss world is a very new demo of an even newer song that was recorded on sunday with nick from the nukes.

colossus is off the one-night only EP we did for xmas eve, the recording's been bouncing around since august, it's apparently a 'live favourite'. groovy. it was done by gareth burke and ourselves.

all of this is contributing to the new ep we're hoping to get out by easter, it'll be our first for tantrum. clay statues are excited.

MESSAGE FROM YOUR CHRISTMAS SWEETHEART
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
i'm finding it harder and harder to exist peacefully, what with this wealth of singer-songwriter/one man band bullshit that's creeping in. no names but they know who they are. to me it's all very egotistical. at the end of the day who the fuck do you think you are...bob dylan? johnny cash? no, no wait..james blunt. that's it, james blunt.

don't go hunting chart success either, mother should have told you long ago that a good band (or singer-songwriter) doesn't get any better with label backing. they just get out more.

jan 18th tabu bar cardiff...any 'one man bands' turn up i'm going to burn the fucking place.
