come the creatures.
into the night?

Anyways.... I planned on blogging with every episode that came out.. Not too hard, right? But I am a spazz-attack & got distracted & blah, blah, blah.
So I'm coming at ya late.

Episode 12 was a good one. I am rather fond of it. It's a collection of you myspace friends I picked up somehow (thanks for not being creeped out...). I squeezed 10 songs in. & since the write-up of my actual podcast post... Prince Edward Island hath accepted that there friend request. However, DC got lost in a shuffle. I'm working on it. If you really wanna know: http://myspace.com/drunkcountry

Right-ho!  I'm stoked about all my new friends & the attention this silly thing is getting. I'm feeling good & I'm feeling proud.
Thanks for all your support & love. I am loser-y enough to continue the show without any listeners, but the feedback & encouragement is fantastic. Keep it up!

Haha. Anyways... Just thought I'd give you an update. Lots of things going on in the Mamz & Nips world, so it's been little bit hectic. My life is going to be even more hectic pretty soon. However, I will work real hard to be super organized with this thing, so that all you cool bands get rotated properly & my promises of being played are actually fulfilled.

Love to all.

♥ The Mighty Nips.

ps. there may be a guest appearance of Mamzilla for the first time in FOREVER. Stay tuned. I'm working on it.

Mamzilla & I randomly decided to make podcasts one day.

We have done 11 Episodes so far & I'm gonna give you the rundown of the episodes & corresponding themes.

Ready?

Let's go…

Episode 1: We Make Podcasts

This was our very first podcast. We had some great ideas for this one that never actually carried on to our second podcast, but we sure tried hard. The songs we chose for this one were just our favourites or ones we were digging at the time. These include "Crazy Bitch" by BuckCherry & "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by The Beach Boys. There were technical whoopsies, of course, as any first attempt would have & we just sort of babbled a lot. Definitely a one-of-a-kind first podcast experience.

Episode 2: We're On Shuffle; She's On NeoCitron

Though we weren't really on shuffle, we did sort of do this podcast flying by the seat of our pants. Mamzilla had caught herself a ridiculously nasty cold & was hyped up on twice the recommended daily intake of NeoCitron. She was pretty drugged up & weird. That doesn't explain the behavior of The Mighty Nips, but she would would like the world to know that when she's around intoxicated people, she becomes like a chameleon & feels/acts the same way. The Mighty Nips would also like everyone to know that she is quite happy that way, as there is no throwing up, no hangover & it costs nothing. Back to the show… We, again, played our favourites. KT Tunstall's "Black Horse & The Cherry Tree" & Fall Out Boy's "Dance Dance."

Episode 3: We Hate Boys

As both Mamzilla & The Mighty Nips have been through their fair share of horrible men, we decided it would be a good idea to play a bunch of songs that show off our hatred & rant a little about the men that hurt us so… anonymously. Even if you are a guy, I think you'll enjoy this podcast. We played "Jerk" by Kim Stockwood & "U + UR Hand" by Pink….

Episode 4: We Dig Duets

Being in love would not be quite as wonderful if there weren't duets in the world. True? Of course! In Episode 4, you hear the most disgusting sing-along in the history of disgusting sing-alongs…. But you also get to hear Santana & Chad Kroeger duke it out in "Why Don't You & I?" & hear Shakira & Beyonce team up against one sorry son-of-a-gun in "Beautiful Liar."

Episode 5: We Miss One-Hit-Wonders

& Who doesn't? One-hit-wonders are amazing! Everyone knows them & everyone wonders what on earth the bands are doing now. Well, Mamzilla & The Mighty Nips inform you about one-hitters such as CrazyTown, Donna Lewis, Jimmy Eat World & Dexy's Midnight Runner…..

Episode 6: We Like, We Like To Party

Named after the wonderful song, Mamz & Mi-Ni have the time of our lives!!! We have never laughed so hard! Hilarious tongue-ties & whatnots. Pickup lines! Oh… man… funniest podcast EVER, pretty much. There's a whole "Dr. Pecker" incident!! Oh dear….. You also get to hear a little hello from Old Mr. Mighty Nips. Not the hubby, the daddy. With MC Hammer & Fergie on the guest list, this is one party you probably don't want to miss…. (Could I BE any more cheesy?)

Episode 7: We Love M'Car

The Mighty Nips got a 1990 Honda Civic Hatchback she named "Lucy Goose-y M'Car" whom she is madly in love with. Mamz & Nips went on a couple illegal adventures & found their favourite driving tunes. This is where we shared them with you…. A couple of our favourite driving tunes include: "Little Red Corvette" by Prince & "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood. Both great tunes to drive to & blast & sing along to at the top of your lungs!

Episode 8: We Miss M'Bitch

From here on out, I, The Mighty Nips, have been alone.  Episode 8 was dedicated to darling little Mamzilla. She was so painfully torn from my side & I have been left here to try to keep up the show. I played "Take My Heart" by SoKo & "My Best Friend" by HelloSaferide in her honour.

Episode 9: We Like Awesome Movies

Soundtrack time!! Songs from movies like Grease, Snakes on a Plane, Donny Darko, Moulin Rouge, & Mozart & The Whale. Not much else to say?

Episode 10: We're Pleased To Introduce

At some point in the month between Episode 9 & Episode 10, I was introduced to http://music.podshow.com. There are many splendid artists in that music jackpot & in this episode you got to meet Little Thom, Krista Baroni, Love = Action, Jet Brennan & more…. You also get to hear snippets of "Confessions of Georgia Nicholson" by Louise Rennison & "The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove" by the hilarious Christopher Moore.

Episode 11: We Go Fact-Free

This one has nothing factual in it, obviously. I introduced more of the artists from music.podshow.com, like: Ivy League (De La Vega) & Justin Gordon. I also read a snippet & sampling of "Eleven Minutes" by Paulo Coelho (author of "The Alchemist").

Now you're caught up.
