Note to all rappers, groups, & musicians that want to add me to their buddy list, if you are a down-south rapper/group, a mid-west rapper/group, or a emo-rock or punk-rock band then don't even bother doing so cause I have enough clowns & friends in real life who are into that of music & I don't need online ones.

I want to get intouch & add like-minded people who are into the same genres of music that I'm in as well.

If you want to get an idea of what type of music I'm into just go by Grand Style Decypher's Soundclick Page for some sounds & treats for further insight.

Update: For some reason I'm still getting artists & groups who want to be added to my friends list but like I've already said if I don't like your music then don't expect to get added; all non-myspace-musicians are excluded from this rule of course.

I typed that back in September of last year & I guess some are still not reading it, I guess I got to tell some that actually read people's blogs: "I WILL NOT ADD YOU IF I THINK YOUR MUSIC SUCKS, SO THINK TWICE BEFORE WANTING TO ADD ME".

Yeah what's up my fellow Spacemy readers it's been a while since I've done a mix/podcast but I've been lazy for a while and rearranging a lot of my crates to get ready for an onslaught of mixes I'll be doing soon.

Those not familiar with me or my mixes, don't worry I still got some of my previous podcasts on the same podcast page with my new one (here's the podcast page: Matrix Vibe Radio  ).

If you're into some house music (deep, tech, or jazzy) then this mix is right up your lane, featuring music from such artists as: Timewriter, Chris Lum, Morgan Geist, Dennis Ferrer, & Frank Roger.

Here's the link: Matrix Vibe Radio: House Mix #4 Part One

Now usually my podcasts are about eighty minutes long but I had a few people say my mixes were too long as a one tracker so I decided to divide "House Mix #4" up into two forty minute (well one is 38 min. & the other is 42 min.) mixes for your podcasting listening convenience.

Right now only Part 1 of this mix is up but on Friday I'll post up Part 2 of "House Mix #4" but if you really want to just go and listen/download to the entire 80min. mix then here's that link: M.V.R.: House Mix #4  and as usual any comments or feedback left here or at my podcast page will be grately be appreciated.

I've been busy preparing mixes for an upcoming mixshow I will be doing next month so I've been holding off on throwing up new mixes lately but I decided just to keep the goodies rolling I would upload this old Notorious BIG mixtape I did for someone back in 1999.

Here's the link:  Dj Joey Joe's Notorious B.I.G. Mix

This was done before Puffy started fucking around with Biggie's acappellas and putting them over new beats and shit so it will basically contain songs he originally done off his first two albums and remixes, and other joints before he died.

I don't even remember all the songs I put in this mix, so forget about me posting a tracklisting, everybody should know the majority of Biggie's music by now, just enjoy the music.

As you already know I'm now have a hosting site Fudge FM is behind me all the way with my Matrix Vibe Radio mixes and they even doing the artwork for it too; so it's no complaints from me.

Anyway, I'm going to start off with my latest house mix "Matrix Vibe Radio: House Mix 3" which is basically a mixture of funky house tunes, old & some not so new tunes by the following: Bucketheads, Inland Knights, Jamiroquai, Mateo & Matos, 95 North, Pal Joey, Julius Papp, Soul Providers, and many others.

Here's the link to download: "MVR: House Mix 3"  and as usual any comments or feedback left here or at Fudge FM will be grately be appreciated.

The wait is over, this is Hip-Hop Mix 3

Anyway, "MVR: Hip-Hop Mix 3" featuring songs by Dj Premier, 50Cent, Godfather Don, K-Otix, Mos Def & Sizzla, OhNo, U.G. (of the Cella Dwellas), and many others.

I had a lot of complaints that my mixes were too long (80 minutes) so what I did was make Hip-Hop Mix 2 & this one 3 both 40 minutes long which is half the time I usually make my mixes.

Here is also a direct link to this mix: "Matrix Vibe Radio: Hip-Hop Mix 3"

Any feedback here or left on Fudge FM"s page will definately be appreciated.

This is my latest mix over at a new spot I frequent called Fudge FM dot com and they got me to do my Matrix Vibe Radio podcasts/mixes over there as well. Yes I still do my podcasts over at my main podcasting site which usually consist of me mixing house, rap, r&b, soul, old school, new school, funk, disco, downtempo, & anything else I feel like throwing on the turntable.

This is my profile over at Fudge FM check out my beats I have there too.

Anyway, For my 2nd mix for Fudge FM I did a undergroud hip-hop mix "M.V.R.: Hip-Hop Mix 2" featuring songs by Cella Dwellas, Cy Young, Large Professor, Lone Catalysts, Masta Ace, Rakaa (of Dilated Peoples), Royce the 5'9", and many others.I haven't really been buying a lot of new stuff on vinyl but I got plenty of recent & old stuff just sitting in the crates waiting to be put into a mix, so that's why I do Matrix Vibe Radio. I had a lot of complaints that my mixes were too long (80 minutes) so what I did make this mix 40 minutes long but I also did "Hip-Hop Mix 3" the same time which will be 40 minutes as well, that will be posted real soon but I might post up another house mix before letting you get another hip-hop mix.

Here is also a direct link to this mix Matrix Vibe Radio: "Hip-Hop Mix 2", any feedback here or left on Fudge FM"s page will definately be appreciated.

Usually it's that time again where I let you know about my latest mixes or beats, well I still do my Matrix Vibe Radio which if you don't already know I usually do mixes that can consist of following genres of music: house, rap, r&b, soul, old school, new school, funk, disco, downtempo, & anything else I feel like throwing on the turntable.

I'm apart of this one website called Fudge F.M. and they wanted me to do my Matrix Vibe Radio over there as well so now I got my hands full but I hope you all can handle having a lot more (FREE!) mixes from me to listen to?

For my first mix for Fudge F.M. I ended up doing a dnb/jungle mix (I was going to do one anyways) "Matrix Vibe Radio: Drum-N-Bass Mix" featuring songs by Aaliyah, DJ Cam, 4Hero, Herbie Hancock, M-Beat, Roni Size, Wamdue Project, and many others.
[img][/img]

I basically put this together cause when I buy house 12inches once in a while you will get other genres remixes included, so here is basically a representation of the few records that I had in the crates to create this drum-n-bass & jungle mix of some recent & old school tunes that I have.

Here is also a direct link to this mix Dj Joey Joe "M.V.R.: Drum-N-Bass Mix", any feedback left on Fudge FM"s page will definately be appreciated.

If you aren't into drum-n-bass don't worry I got other stuff coming real soon, the next mix will be a underground hip-hop mix & probably a Baltimore Breaks mix as well, so stay tuned.

It's the time again for me to let you know about my latest episode/mix over at my main podcasting site  which I call Matrix Vibe Radio if you don't already know I usually do mixes that can consist of following genres of music: house, rap, r&b, soul, old school, new school, funk, disco, downtempo, & anything else I feel like throwing on the turntable.

I was doing these twice a month but I wasn't getting the feedback that I expected and was getting lazy so I did have a few ready to mixdown but basically held back on posting them up; plus I was taking a break for a while mixing and was working on some beats which I will go back to doing as soon as I post these next three episodes.

Well I'm back on track and hopefully people will enjoy these tunes, this episode I titled "Assorted Phlavors 1" cause I kind of went from some downtempo to some mid 90's r&b to new jack swing to some 80's jams back to some downtempo; featuring songs by Bell Biv Devoe, Blue Boy, Bobby Brown, Miles Davis, The Family Stand, Janet Jackson, Loose Ends, Me'Shell N'DegeOcello, Alexander O'Neal, Shanice, S.O.S. Band, Soul II Soul, Ten City, and many others.

The link to my podcasting page is in this post & in my signature but here is also a direct link to this episode as well Matrix Vibe Radio "Assorted Phlavors 1 , any feedback left on the podcasting page will definately be appreciated.

I hate doing these blogs but I sure do love reading and replying to them, either I’m procrastinating by never finishing beats, replying to posts on message boards, or chatting on AIM instead of making new tunes or putting together new mixes more often.

Anyway, I got a new podcast up over at my podcasting spot DJ Joey Joe’s Matrix Vibe Radio if you are familiar with my podcasts then you know that it might be a house mix, a hip-hop mix, a r&b mix, and so on well this is one is what I would call an upbeat/downbeat mix titled "M.V.R. Lounge Mix 1" featuring joints by Sade, Brand New Heavies, Sa-Ra, Vivian Green, Masters At Work, Ronny Jordan, J-Dilla, & etc.

If you already know about this podcast then just ignore it this blog but it would be nice if you leave a comment or something here or over at the podcasting page, expect a new podcast in another week or so.

I did this mix sunday night, I'm just doing these mixes for my weekly podcast with no specific track in mind, so I'm going to be strictly winging it with whatever record I put my hands on, (spur of the moment type situation).

So with this in mind, don't bitch about a few songs in this mix not matching up perfectly (and yes I did slip up on a few but I didn't feel like redoing the mix, I was vibing to the music).

The mix includes songs by Jay-J, Chris Gray, DJ Kemit, Johnny Fiasco, Franck Roger, Schmoov!, Axwell, & many others.check the link for actual tracklisting.

I think there should be a link somewhere on iTunes for my weekly podcasts as well but I'm not sure if that's true.

Anyway, next week I might do a r&b/nu-soul mix or a downtempo mix, who knows.

If you do or your don't check it out, thanks either way, enjoy.
