As if the streets of Newport weren't scary enough.. try adding these gruesome characters into the equation....

i know.... scary stuff. We then went on to play one of the hottest gigs of the tour, which led to sweating away our face-paints, and temporarily blinding ourselves in the process! I'm not sure which would frighten off humans more: zombie rockabilly types, or 'normal' men covered in such copious amounts of sweat.

Feel free to cast your votes on the subject below, personally I'd prefer to stumble across a group of zombies any day.

Thanks to the new addition of a camera to the Crazy Arm camp, we were able to capture some images, both still and motion, of some of the later dates. Once I've got the necessary software expect to see some short videos and pictures from other, less zombified events.

Thanks for reading, love Crazy Arm x

If you feel like voting for us in the Best New Band category (and Jon in the Sexiest Male category), please do. But only if you truly believe it to be so. Or not. We're easy. xxx

NEW MEMBER!
Dan Couling has left the band. It's all good - just a divergence of interests. Much thanks to him for three years of service to the cause. Jon has gone over to guitar and we have a new bassist by the name of Tim Rowing-Parker. We hope you make him feel welcome. He's busy learning the set and has already started playing some songs live with us.

NEW SONGS!
We went up to Pete Miles' gaff and demo'ed 13 new/old songs. Two of the songs will be the B-sides to our next single which is scheduled for late-summer / early-autumn. The other songs are intended for the second album, future EPs, compilations etc. Whatever comes up. We'll start playing some of the new stuff over the coming weeks, once Tim's up to scratch with the set.

NEW NEWS!
1. We've heard that we've got a session for Mike Davies' Radio One show in September. More info when we know more.
2. We've also heard that we're touring the UK with Frank Turner in March 2010. More info when we know more.
3. We're about to book an October tour. Let us know if you want us to come to your town. We're also free to play throughout Sept.

What else? Oh yes, we're in Kerrang! today. Introducing section, if you fancy a butchers.

Giddy uppers. xxx

'Born To Ruin' is now available through all good record shops (and probably some bad ones), through us at gigs, digitally via lots of places, and mail order from www.xtramilerecordings.com. Giddy up up up!

'Stunning' (KKKK) Kerrang!

'Since Joe Strummer passed away we have been waiting for an album akin to his passion and with 'Born To Ruin' it has finally been delivered'
Allgigs.co.uk

'...An interesting and exciting album... it's easy to see why so many of the more mainstream music outlets, including Radio 1, have started to pick up on them'
Punktastic

We're still on tour, so check out where we're playing and come see us :)

We have copies of the 7" vinyl single of 'Broken By The Wheel' too.

By golly, it's all happening.

This is the definitive, widescreen video to the single, out 25th May. Sorry for all the messing about. It won't happen again, I promise. Album 'Born To Ruin' out 8th June. xxx

(Supporting Streetlight Manifesto)

On this particular bill Crazy Arm sticks out like the proverbial sore
thumb. This is a good thing. One thing the UK scene could do with is a
few more promoters willing to mix a show up style-wise. Tonight it’s
fair to say that the Plymouth quartet surprises a fair few of the
ska-addicted audience with its blend of straight-up rock ‘n’ roll,
southern rock and hints of country. It’s big, brash, hearty and most
importantly, fresh. A new album is due out in June and anybody that’s
heard it will wax lyrical about how good it is. Hopefully this will be
the catalyst that sees this band push further into the public
consciousness. (4/5)

ALBUM!
Debut album 'Born To Ruin' will (finally!) be seeing the light of day through Xtra Mile Recordings, hopefully in late May / early June. We intend to tour like fuckery when it's released.

SINGLE!
Debut single 'Broken By The Wheel' (limited edition 7" vinyl on Seven Inch Records, digital downloads through Xtra Mile) will now be released some time before the album. The flipside is the previously unreleased 'British Steel'. We're not sure if we'll have copies for sale on our forthcoming March tour but we'll try our best.

T-SHIRTS!
We should have tees available on the March tour, the same as before, with the tiger design, on ethically sourced shirts.

Good day friends. Just a little update on our plans for 2009.
We're out on a UK tour in March with our buddies, Bangers (check them out in our myspace top friends). Please come and say hello and maybe have a little dance.
Our limited edition 7" coloured vinyl single, 'Broken By The Wheel', should be out in April on Seven Inch Records (500 copies + digital downloads). The b-side is 'British Steel', which is not on the album. We intend to do a lot more shows around it, including some good support slots throughout April.
It looks like our album will, at last, be released, hopefully, in May/June. We're in talks with a great indie label from London. More details to come when all's confirmed. Needless to say, we're pretty chuffed about it.
That's about it. Good times ahead :)
Keep warm, be safe, support Palestine.
