just a quick update:

we had to cancel some shows because........

we are going to be in the studio for the next two months working on a new EP that we will be releasing in mid-January.  This is the CD we've all been waiting forever for, folks, and we're going to be doing it right.  we absolutely cannot wait for you to hear these new tunes.

as i'm sure you all know, every year mc donald's hosts this delightful game that we've all come to love. after all, what better way to socialize children to the realities of global capitalism than with a game that requires consumption to play?? (actually, there is a "no purchase necessary" clause....no loopholes like that in the real world though kids)

but seriously, we are trying to win, and we need your help.

we desperately need money to cover the high costs of recording a new EP!  if you or anyone you know has the piece for tennesse ave you could be giving a broke, loveable band the gift of their dreams.

in columbus a few weeks back, one of the ladies working gave us a handfull hash brown wrappers.  in the big scheme of things we didn't get much out of it, but THIS IS WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE.  thats the kind of love and support we need.

many of you may have wondered what the hell we've been up to for the past few months.  well, this is it. in addition to recording this brand spankin' new song with producer marc mcclusky, we've also been brewing over a name change.  WE ARE STILL THE SAME BAND! for a long time now, we have had mixed feelings within the group over our name.  when it came down to it, we decided that this would be a good time to make changes like this. it came down to a vote, which ended up being 3-2 in favor of the change, so we went for it. 

we are in the midst of bigger and better things, and we are now doing this full time.  hopefully you love the new song and the new name!  we are going to be releasing a new EP that includes this new song Out Of My Mind (and maybe even some old familiar favorites) by mid-January-ish, so stay tuned, and help us spread the word!

Oh, and if you want to keep tabs on what we're up to, i've been trying to keep my blog updated.
