How do I even begin?? The MMMF was awesome, once again. Friday the band and I jammed along to Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and of course, Warren Haynes and Government Mule.
The Mojo Farmers rocked the stage, putting on a great mix of songs from the new album, Wake of the Moon, and from MT Space, as well. The crowd really got into the show, dancing, cheering, and clapping along.
The Mojo Farmers rocked out for 45 minutes, belting out hits such as Harvest Rain, Coyotes at the Door, and Lucky.
Afterwards, the Mojo Farmers signed CDs for fans, and then, with the buildup and show behind them, got to enjoy the rest of the festival. Saturday wrapped up with Blues Traveler and the John Butler Trio!
An awesome time was had by all, and the band is already counting down the days until next year. Until then, make sure to catch up with us Saturday May 17 at Last Exit in Tempe for our CD release party!!

Regards, Amber, Band Manager

Hello Mojo Friends:
In keeping with our name and motto, the Mojo Farmers performed at a charity fundraiser, the Relay For Life in support of the American Cancer Society Friday April 18th at the ASU Polytechnic Campus. It was an awesome sight to see all the people walking around the track, many in memory of loved ones, or in support of friends and family who are currently battling cancer. The event was sponsored by ASU, and there was a luminaria ceremony after the Mojo Farmers played.

Playing at the event was certainly a treat. It was great to be able to provide a background and entertainment for all the people out there who were also giving up their time for a worthy cause.

Well, this weekend in Jerome was certainly a blast. The bar was packed all weekend, we met some new friends, hooked up with old friends, and partied the weekeend away. We had an awesome line-up, with Jeordie opening up Friday night with an awesome acoustic set. We played next, and Black & Tan closed out the night with some sweet tunes. On Saturday, Nick Jaina started the afternoon off with an amazing set. Anytime you see a stand up bass is a good time . Brewed to Perfection stopped by Jerome to play a set and jam with the Mojos on their way home from a Flagstaff tour, and Chocolate Fountain rocked the night. The Mojos closed out Saturday with an amazing set and some impromptu jamming with the other bands. Sunday afternoon Your Conscience joined the Mojo for a great set of covers, then Rocketline came on with their spaced out tunes. . . . The Mojos finished off the afternoon with a great line up, including a couple of new songs. There are some pictures from Sunday's show posted to our pics, we will get the pictures up from Friday and Saturday tomorrow!! To all our new friends from the weekend, thanks for checking out the Mountain Mojo. The Spirit Room is an amazing place to play, and we enjoy every trip up there. Special thanks to Steve & Karen Cheifetz for the lodging and moral support , once again!!! We couldn't make it through the weekend without you guys. John, Randi, and Dave, thanks for all your help throughout the weekend. It makes road life a lot easier with friends like you to help with the gear and the shows!! And Pattee, thanks for dancing!! You always get the crowd on their feet. . .

Hello Mojo Fans: Last night the Mojo Farmers volunteered their time and talent to help out the Desert Sun Child Development Center in their annual fundraiser night. The Desert Sun Staff, parents, and friends all had a great time. There were casino tables, a silent auction, a live auction, and of course, awesome tunes by the Mojo. The band is in full swing and meshing together well with Darin Lugar at drums. If you click through our photo album, you’ll find pictures from the event, and the home page has two videos! In upcoming events, the Mountain Mojo is happening April 11, 12, & 13th in Jerome at the Spirit Room. Hotel rooms are in short supply, but now is the perfect time to make friends or break out the camping gear!! The Mojo’s are performing another Charity Show at the Relay For Life out at the ASU Polytechnic Campus in Mesa on April 18th. The weekend following is McDowell Mountain Music Festival, on April 25 & 26. The Mojos will be playing Saturday at noon, so be sure to get your festival tickets and support the Mojo!! And keep an eye out for the new CD, which will be released soon!! More news and dates to follow!! Thanks for keeping up the Mojo!

Thanks to all of you who figured out that the Mojo Farmers were the 'surprise' band at the McDowell Mountain Music Festival wrap party last Saturday night!! We could not advertise this gig due to Scottsdale city codes governing outdoor music after a certain hour and appreciate the great response from you all as well as from our new fans who stopped by the stage to party. Although we had quite a bit of Scottsdale Police 'advice' on apparent loudness levels early in the evening, all parties were happy with the final results. We ended up being able to play until 2am Sunday morning!
Special thanks to the Fire Dancers (Girls eating fire blew us away, as well as the local law enforcement representatives who were present) as well as to all the McDowell Mountain Festival promoters and crews. Extra special thanks to all you campers who helped the band in the wee hours all the way to sunrise. We salute you!!!
Remember, when ordering tickets for the upcoming Desert Rocks Music Festival in Moab, UT, May 25-27, use Promotion Code 007-023 on the www.desertrocks.org site, you'll save $5.
Take care everybody!!!
Peace,
Mojo Farmers
