Whoa there, We would like to announce the addition of bassist Tim Boyle to the CTL ranks, who is replacing the departed Dom Scarano. Tim comes to us via Grave Desire (who coincidentally have our producer and current Mantic Ritual singer/guitarist Dave Watson in the ranks) and is well-versed in the CTL catalog, so it was a natural decision. We would like to wish Dom the best in his future endeavors, as his gaudy sense of humor and keen eye for the ladies will be missed.
Live activity as well as writing for the ever-important album #3 will resume, for are working with a fill-in drummer (key word: fill-in), but since we're tired of announcing member changes, we'll be clandestine for once. Great album, Entombed's Clandestine. Best song? "Sinners Bleed," of course.
Thanks and thrash, David E. Gehlke & Crown the Lost

Current mood:Rocking, naturally
Whoa, Ah, more changes. Gotta love 'em. Drummer Kevin Antonacci has left Crown the Lost in order to focus more on his schooling and other worthy activities. In Kevin's 11 months with the band, we enjoyed many a good time and wish him the best of luck in his future pursuits. Because of Kevin's departure, all future live activity is cancelled until further notice. On that note, we are currently holding drummer auditions. If you're a skin-basher and feel as though you're up to task, hit us up here or through email: crownthelost@hotmail.com. Serious applicants need apply along with those with the firm belief that "Script For My Requiem" is Blind Guardian's best song. Bonaddio thinks it's "Nightfall," but I have to disagree... Thanks & thrash, David E. Gehlke & Crown the Lost

Whoa,
Lo and behold, Blind Faith Loyalty is now available on North American shores. Not like it wasn't before (thank you, Internet pirates), but it's official...it only took us 18 months to get it out. To purchase the album (and other Renaldi-approved CTL items), head over to our main site: http://www.crownthelost.com/merch.html and pick it up.
In related news, our CD release show is this Saturday, May 9th @ the Smiling Moose. Joining us will be our good friends Dofka and In the Wake. We hope to see you there. Beer is on Joe, apparently, in celebration of the Pirates getting through the first month of the season with a better record than the Indians, which has yours truly simply dumbfounded. That will probably change in a few months.
