sooooo. it took so much longer than i expected to finish customizing this grey top. (btw, just ignore the dirty mirror. T_T) it is sooooo annoying to pick up the beads one by one and sew it on the top. im not really happy with the end product. it's not as neat as i want it to be. you can see the material crumples here and there. haha. i think i could have done better. but it is much better than how it looked like before i made a few adjustments.

i do think im kinda slow in the whole designing "propaganda" that's all over myspace right now. but i do have a few opinions on it.

i dont really see myself as a designer, what i do right now is just something i do to kill time and make money at the same time - mainly to support my shopping habits ^^;; however, i do try to make things interesting and try hard to come up with new designs, new characters, new things. as someone who loves to shop, i do prefer to get one of a kind things, something that is really hard to get, and something that is totally different from the things people already have.

so anyway, while i dont have anything against the indie labels out there, i do think "mak aku cakap mak kau ronggeng" is offensive. i mean, i do think you can do better than that. what would your mom say if she looks at it? i think my mom would just eat me up whole T_T.

text on shirts are okay. but if everyone seems to be making the same kind of tshirts, wouldnt it be boring? yeah sure, different texts? but still, cmon man text text and more text? and as sue anna joe said, try referring to threadless, and someone else countered her argument by saying "it's not fair to compare malaysian designers to threadless". well, in my opinion, you're just being lazy. if you dont look at other people's design, how would you know that how much can you do better or in what way can you improve your self? if you keep staying cooped in your own little designing world with lack of knowledge of how to use illustrator to make better designs, then how exactly can you improve? please tell me that you do know that people dont really use photoshop and paint to do tshirt designing T_T

the technology nowadays is so cheap, people take advantage of it. a lot of tshirts out there, but lacking sooo much in quality. you guys can do better, seriously. and i, myself, still has a LOT to learn. but do work hard to step forward. try to think of something that is so different people would just look at you in awe and think "OMG THIS GUY/GIRL IS GENIUS!"

as much as i love money, but i wouldnt want to sell something that doesnt really translate my hardwork and effort into it. i want to sell pretty and unique things and i want people to remember my work. if not, i do think it's like cheating and dishonest. nevertheless, i do understand that everyone is entitled to their opinions on what thing they would like to buy.

1. i do this so i have money to support my bad, bad shopping habits and travel.

2. all things are very limited; one design, one piece.

3. there are absolutely no reproductions, reprints of any sort for any of the designs.

4. everything is handmade. (i try notttt to print things, i like to do everything myself altho it suck the soul out of me haha T_T)

5. if you get my stuff here on myspace, GIVE ME YOUR BEST PRICE THROUGH ALL THE BIDDING, then deposit the money  into my account and i'll post it to you.
