8 CLASSES TILL GRADUATION!  (I know!  After all this time, I'm almost DONE!)

With that said, I've been ACCEPTED in the D*sney College Program in Anaheim, Ca as an Entertainment Costumer!  This was my TOP CHOICE and I'm so excited I got accepted as it's an EXTREMELY competitive internship.  (Interns have a company status equivalent to that of Part-time employees and can become regular part-time employees at the end of their internship, so the company has to be VERY selective about who they hire as they might be there permanently!)

But...

I'm also in the running for a Mgmt Internship at WDW in Orlando. 0_0  This position is incredibly coveted, so don't be fooled!  It's a 30K+ position at the INTERN LEVEL, which isn't bad for a Lib Arts Major who doesn't have a degree yet!

So, it's going to come down to Flo-rida vs. SoCal, and we'll know the outcome by the Holidays!

OH! Almost forgot!  I'm now doing nightly ghost tours (no Tues, sorry) with French Quarter Phantoms!  If you'd like to have a tour with yours truly, then just dial 504-666-8300 and tell them that you want ME! ^_^

:~: Artwork :~:

Haven't had the money lately to invest in a new Tablet, or to purchase the bridge camera I want.  However, the Mgmt Internship would allow me to do both of these! *crosses fingers*

***ATTENTION ARTISTS***

I'm open to doing remote posing for artists already on my friend's list.

As many of you know, I don't do nudes, but I am open to creating custom costumes, etc. (Please see Valeron's "Persephone" for a good example of this.) This offer is currently open to EVERYONE on a Case-by-Case basis.  (Print Rights will be discussed!)

However, I'm not looking to offer my currently posted images as stock. (Sorry!)

:~: Costuming/Fashion :~:

I want to re-vamp 60-80% wardrobe into Loli fashions as I'm currently in <3's with a mesh between the Classic and EGA styles.

I just finished a really cute bolero, and I'm going to be putting the finishing touches on a ruffled, bustle pin-stripe skirt sometime this weekend.  When I get a chance, I intend on posting pictures.

My next projects include some Reno's of current clothes, and this little number:

http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-set/BQcDAAAAAwoDanBnAAAABC5vdXQKFm1PVjgzNGl0M2hHUmZxNEdzbFJHclEAAAACaWQKAWUAAAAEc2l6ZQ.jpg

Though it won't be navy and black satin like I wanted, but storm grey taffeta and black satin instead.  (It's 2-tone taffeta, and it's GORGEOUS!)

I'll be certain to post pictures ASAP!

The shop is going to start offering more "supplies" soon!  Be on the look out for Waterford crystals, and one-of-a-kind fabrics!

Managed to make it to D*C this year after a 2 year absence!  And as PRESS!!!

I'm going to have several pieces up on Gothic Beauty Magazine's website soon.  They'll coincide with the launch of Issue 29 which will be on shelves at most major book retailers.  For those of you who managed to snag a copy of Issue 28, then you'll see my first 'Staff' listing on the inside cover. 0_0

I'm currently working on pieces right now for Issue 30, and will be attending the ARVLFC Tru Blood and Gold Ball (Charlaine Harris headlining), the Vampire Film Fest, and possibly a screening of 'The Vampire's Assistant' as PRESS.

In addition, I'll also have several articles out through other publications soon--Charisma+2 Magazine, and possibly Hauntworld to name a few!  (Again, details as I get them!)

I PASSED THE TOUR GUIDE EXAM!!!  Now I just need my Bartender's card!

I've just gotten out of Essence Fest, and now I'm moving into Microsoft Territory!

Almost finished with the Summer semester!  I have 1 class that ends NEXT WEEK, and another 1 that ends the week after, and 2 more that end 2-3 days after that!

My schedule is set for Fall already, and there's only 1 class I need to get into that I haven't already!

I have A LOT of friends that are coming back/starting at my college this Fall, and it makes me soooooo excited!

PS-I now have OVER 3000 friends!

:~: Artwork :~:

My tablet is busted! ;_;  I'm going to try to crack it open soon and try to re-soder the wires, but I have a feeling that I'm going to have to just bite the bullet and get a new one.

***ATTENTION ARTISTS***

I'm open to doing remote posing for artists already on my friend's list.

As many of you know, I don't do nudes, but I am open to creating custom costumes, etc. (Please see Valeron's "Persephone" for a good example of this.) This offer is currently only for people already on my friend's list, but I am willing to consider people who aren't already added who are traditional or digital artists.

However, I'm not looking to offer stock images to people outside of my friend's list at this time, nor to offer my currently posted images as stock. (Sorry!)

:~: Costuming/Fashion :~:

I had to turn down wardrobe for Beyonce this past Friday.  Not my choice; I got called at the last minute when I had already accepted work elsewhere for more $$$.  Honestly, the only thing I regret is not getting to touch Thierry Mugler creations.

AmericanGeiko Clothing is going to be available again on Etsy soon!  The line is currently being sold at Decatur St Clothing Exchange, and will probably branch out from there.  (If you sell consignment, let me know.)

I just finished a purple faery costume, but other than clothes and accessories for AmericanGeiko, I'm not working on anything else.

The shop is going to start offering more "supplies" soon to accommodate customers looking for these materials.

DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED!

Things have been so crazy on this front it's not even funny!

I wrapped at the end of my on Jonah Hex, my first period film!  I was personally dressed by the Costume Designer, Michael Wilkenson (Watchmen, 300, & soon, Tron 2.0). (He was totally enamored with the fact that I had a true hourglass figure!)

From there I did 3 days on set on 2 different scenes.  (There was about 16 of us girls, and 50 guys. 0_0)

I've also done an unbelievable amount of promos lately!  Coor's Light & Tecate Girl, Dane Cook, Ford, AT&T @ the Demi Lovato Concert in Lafayette, LA, Olay Pro-X, Burger King FamFest, TBS & Tyler Perry's 'Meet the Browns', and I'm almost certain I'm forgetting at least 3-4 others!

I'm rather surprised at how much work I'm averaging since this time of year is normally INCREDIBLY slow for me, but it seems that every WEEK I have something going on!

Thanks so much to everybody for supporting me!

This compilation is totally here for your amusement.  Yes, my life is a "joke" sometimes.

1) Look, I've been at work all day, and I've only had 5 hours sleep, so you better just eat your meal and have lowered expectations about what's going to happen this evening.
2) You're trying too hard to be different.
3) I'll give you $800 to sit on my face.
4) I know I'm talking to you, but can you help me get with this girl you know.
5) What do you mean you don't drink to get drunk?
6) Why don't you want to do chicks?
7) I saw your picture. You must be a freak!
8) Do you like sex?
9) Can I borrow your costumes?
10) I think you should celebrate holidays that have nothing to do with your religion.

Rest assured that most of these were uttered while under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Well, the Lib Arts Department (Do you want fries with that?) sent me a "Do these things or kiss your graduation good-bye" ultimatum!  Amongst them was a checklist of the classes I've already completed that'll go towards my major.

I'm currently short 46 credits--that doesn't include this semester at least. Though that does mean I'm going to have to take 4 classes this summer, and 5 in the Fall to graduate.

Oh, and don't tell me my math is off, that's what this next bit is about!

Since I have to take 4 classes in the Spring, I'm going to Paris after all. I'll still be young enough by then to get for free to the museums on Friday nights.  And since the original idea of backpacking through Europe with my co-conspirator in crime got scrapped, she has agreed to go back to college and learn French just so that she can accompany me!  I've already begun to plot our itinerary and it has us hitting approximately 15 countries in 5 months and run screaming from Gypses!

As far as how things are right now, I'm quitting my RA job and leaving this noisy shoebox in May.  The Goddess herself might be smiling in my favor too as I've been selected to interview for spot in a rather infamous local artist's mansion.  If I'm selected, my rent will be $350-450 including utilities to live only a few blocks from the French Quarter!

:~: Costuming/Fashion :~:

I spent roughly three 12-16 hr days doing Britney Spear's wardrobe in March.  And let me tell you, it's exhausting sewing that woman's crotch!  However, the costuming for that tour was unbelievable!  It really was a "show", not just a concert.  And why Kevin Federline and Stephen Baldwin were there, I'll never know because I just put the clothes together, I don't read the tabloids.

Less than a week after those shenanigans I finally signed up with IATSE local 39!  So I'm officially a union stagehand AND seamstress, and as soon as I'm out of classes for the semester, I'll be sewing for the New Orleans Opera!

And my own clothing line has finally gotten a break!  AmericanGeiko Clothing will soon be sold in local consignment shops throughout the NOLA area--and eventually the US.  The indy design market down here is CRAZY, and I've been told that locally designed pieces go out as quick as they come in.  So I'm hoping to expand my local notoriety and finally build a quality fan-base for my line now that I have a more refined design aesthetic.

As far as my accessory line goes, that's going to depend on local demand versus etsy sales.  Which ever has a higher return is going to ultimately win out!

:~: Etsy :~:

My Etsy shop is going to go through some re-structuring over the summer and will soon only carry a limited amount of accessories, re-sales, and supplies--as mentioned in the 'Costuming/Fashion' section.

To get your hands on what's currently available before it's gone, click it!

:~: Acting/Modeling :~:

I actually lost 11 lbs in late Feb due to illness, but I've managed to keep it off due to severe changes in diet and exercise.  My Doctor was very happy with me this past Tuesday when I went to see her.  She's recommended some over-the-counter medication that'll help me reach my goal weight as well.  As it is, my waist officially has a 10 inch differentiation due to me wearing corsets all the time, so feel free to call me "The Coke Bottle Chick".

Recently got to do some more character handling in March as Tony the Tiger's helper. And he was a very cute Tiger! ^_~

This past Sunday I did booth work for Fox Interactive Sports at one of their Scout Combines.  I was used to setting up for events, but I'd never done something of this nature before, so it was really interesting getting to see how that portion of the industry works.  Not to mention that the pay for the direct hire was great!

I have another small promo in mid May, but I'm actually looking at possibly getting to do a promo for Dave Matthew's Band at Jazz Fest this coming week!

And while it isn't exactly acting or modeling, a combination of those skills plus my love of local history is going to get put to the test in 2 weeks--literally.  I've signed up with City Hall to take the Tour Guide's exam.  If I pass, I've already been offered a lucrative position with a local company conducting French Quarter tours.  And because they don't care how flamboyant I dress I'll finally get to parade in some of my pieces like I did in late high school/early college!

Drats, Pigeon-holed again!

It seems like I might not graduate at the end of this year after all.  But there is a possibility and it's all hinged on what classes are being offered this Summer.  If I can pick up a math class, then I can graduate.  If I can't, then I'm going to possibly have a spring semester coming up where I'm talking 1 class.

This ofcourse screws up my plans to go to France as one of the mandatory classes I need to graduate is only offered in the Fall.  I've given serious consideration though to doing a Summer Abroad, but even that is questionable right now as Financial Aid is a big issue.

I'm working to get new items posted, but my schedule is insane now that I'm a CA.

***ATTENTION ARTISTS***

I HAVE THE NEW CAMERA!!!

I'm currently working on mending clothes.

I also have Montley Crue coming up this weekend, and right after that I'll be doing Local Wardrobe for Britney Spears/Pussycat Dolls w/ 2 days of dress rehearsals, and 1 day-of-show since they're starting they're Tour in NOLA.

:~: Acting/Modeling :~:

I did a promo gig for AT&T at the Sugarbowl.  Beyond that, things have been really slow this year, and my schedule has been really crazy due to my CA position and having a full-time course load.

I'm currently taking this awesome creative non-fiction class, but the work load has put the crap in doing any other kind of writing for the time being.
