WORLD OF WONDER ANNOUNCES "DOLLYPOP"
GROUP ART SHOW

Exhibition to showcase Dolly Parton inspired art
Opens Friday September 12
World of Wonder Storefront Gallery, Hollywood

Los Angeles, September 4, 2008 – World of Wonder Productions founders Fenton
Bailey and Randy Barbato announced today their group art show DOLLYPOP, a
continuation of their successful WOW Storefront Gallery art show series, which has
previously hosted the wildly popular Dial 'M' For Madonna, Warhol: Dead At 21, Just
Britney, Golden Gals Gone Wild and depARTed art shows.

Co-curated by Marc Malkin and Steven Corfe, DOLLYPOP celebrates the debut of the
years-in-the-making Broadway musical adaptation of 9 to 5, which has its world premiere
this weekend at the Ahmanson Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

DOLLYPOP opens with a pink champagne reception taking place in the newly renovated
Storefront Gallery, now complete with higher ceilings and original golden art deco
cornices.

DOLLYPOP is a celebration of all things Dolly.
The exhibition features over 40 artists'
imagery of the country crooning legend as you've never seen her before.

As Dolly's talent and pure genius reaches a new generation with the opening of the
9 to 5 musical, the art show provides a platform for showcasing Dolly-inspired paintings,
photography, sculptures and videos.

Highlights of the exhibition include a portrait of Dolly made entirely of chewed
bubblegum, an original Dolly gouache by famed New Yorker illustrator Robert de
Michiell, and a Dolly painting by Bubbles The Artist (aka famed songwriter and Friends
theme-tune scribe Allee Willis).
The opening reception will also feature Dolly-inspired
performances, and the occasional live chicken.

The opening reception party takes place on Friday September 12 from 8PM – midnight,
with art unveilings, performance pieces and an open champagne / vodka bar.
The show
closes Wednesday October 8.
The artworks are available for purchase Tuesday through
Saturday, from 9am – 6pm.

World of Wonder Storefront Gallery is located at
6650 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, California 90028

"The response to our Dolly Parton show has been phenomenal," said co-curator Steven
Corfe, adding, "We had no idea so many of our artist friends were closet Dolly-maniacs.

The huge variety of styles is going to make this collection the art show equivalent of a
coat of many colors!" Co-curator Marc Malkin added, "Dolly Parton is a true genius.
She
is an American poet who, no surprise, has had a career that has spanned decades.
We
all have our own image of Dolly and this show collects all those images, thoughts and
inspirations into one big and well-deserved tribute to the goddess who we call Dolly
Parton.

WORLD OF WONDER ANNOUNCES "CRAZIANS!" GROUP ART SHOW

Exhibition to showcase Asian American art.

Los Angeles, July 2 2008 – World of Wonder Productions founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato announced today their group art show CRAZIANS!, the latest installment of their wildly popular WOW Storefront Gallery series, which most recently hosted the Dial M for Madonna, Warhol: Dead At 21, Just Britney, and Golden Gals Gone Wild shows. Guest curated by Moye Ishimoto, World of Wonder delves into the wild and often misunderstood world of Asian American art.

Appropriately and expressively titled, CRAZIANS! goes beyond celebrating art in the Asian community. The new collection dives into the overwhelming popularity of Asian culture in American fashion, digital media and entertainment. World of Wonder cites the popular collaboration between contemporary artist Takashi Murakami and luxury brand Louis Vuitton for an exclusive handbag line and ABC Network's attempt with I Survived A Japanese Game Show, all the way to Leonardo DiCaprio's project to turn the anime classic, Akira, into his own live-action film. And don't forget Gwen Stefani's public inspiration from Tokyo's Harajuku Street to create her music, fashion line and concert tour. CRAZIANS! explores this growing phenomenon that can both bond and alienate the Asian art community.

With the ongoing prevalence of Asian culture in America, "the most common misconception is that this is all new, crazy and edgy," says Moye Ishimoto. "On the other hand, most Asian Americans feel like we've already been there and done that." World of Wonder invited a group of Asian American/Canadian artists to showcase their response to their culture's transformation into American pop.

"We're constantly inundated with our own culture as interpreted by the West," Moye continues. "This show is our blatant response about taking ownership of our cultures—and to show that we can do more than just draw oversized anime eyes." The exhibition features over 30 established and up-and-coming artists, photographers and sculptors from around the continent, exploring their ethnic backgrounds in American culture.

She adds, "I was also blown away by the wide range of art in our community: we've got innovative paintings, traditional photography, etchings, comic art and ceramics. This won't be your room full of Memoirs of a Geisha fan art."

The WOW Storefront Gallery is also excited to showcase a piece by the late Michael Cho, an emerging art student from UCLA who was tragically shot to death by two La Habra policemen last year in broad daylight. Cho's untimely death sparked outrage among the Asian American community, and though the circumstances surrounding his death remain unresolved, the gallery hopes to bring more attention to his case, talent and spirit. More information can be found at the Justice For Mike Cho website (www.justiceformikecho.com).

CRAZIANS! opens on Friday, July 11th with an open bar gala reception from 8:00pm – midnight, then continues for four weeks through August 8th, Tuesday through Saturday during daytime hours. The artworks are available for purchase during these hours.

World of Wonder Storefront Gallery is located at
