Current mood:  accomplished

Ok, now that this is up and getting some attention, I'd like to get into a bit of detail on this Production/Entertainment Co. For the most part we, Matt Reyes and myself, started around the same time, only never actually met til' 88'. And our similar beginnings in hip hop, led us to this...World One.

The beginning history, was just a couple of young kids, with a little bit of equipment that loved hip hop. And then came the 1st track machine, 4-Track. This would eventually create the basis of the production house, groups from all over Boston, and the surrounding area's would come to discover this young production wizard, who at like 12-13, was producing full fledged 15 min. mixes, and sampling James Brown beats, before it became the norm.

By the time I arrived into the massive mix of groups he was recording (for free, even to this day he has yet to charge a single group for his production work) his reputation was quite known, along with DJ Koo Koo. What I brought to the table, would eventually be a more business minded way of handling all that came our way. We've had many obstacles to overcome, including inner turmoil within' ourselves and each other, but through it all we managed to stick with one another in some shape or form. We all got a bit older and much wiser, and still hip hop feeds our souls.

Spiritually we've all come full circle, and have grown in our quest to be heard, we've become one with the world, and we feel our creative music, will help the world,  become one. Our songs reflect, Love & Hate, Life & Death, Sadness & Despair, Poverty & Triumph, World issue's as well as things that happen in our own backyard. Nothing is sugar coated or watered down, we don't own mansion's and $250,000 automobile's, no planes or high rise offices, we live and breath hip hop. And we're here to bring beautiful music, and truth to the masses.

Even in some of the most street of artists, you'll hear the beauty in their creative bodies of work, the soul of everyone we've recorded can be heard, and felt in each recording. All I hope is that you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed recording, and come away with some heart felt expression, that will be timeless in your mind, body and soul...Thank you, and get ready for a World of experience's, through the different minds of those we've been blessed, to have had graced our studio's. Hello to the fans of World One, thing's as of late have been quite up & down...but with Spring upon us we are trying to revamp the page...and re-amp ourselves into a new stretch of World One projects to come.

Soon there will be a World One Jukebox of gem's from our huge library of music...everything from the mid 80's on through to today's newer projects.

Type 4, will soon be dropping their full length release, as well as The Penfield Mood Orchestra project seeing the light of day. Also expect Kingsmythe to return with a full length album of a much different type of Hip Hop Mashed.

And also, remastered/remixed versions of all World One artists releases from over the years. When I say we have some serious Gems...just wait and check the new Jukebox up very soon....

Stay tuned...and stay Hip Hop!!!
