Current mood:  catalyzed
Well, it's been a long time, right? So, we unfortunately have to announce that our drummer for the past three years, Marky, left the group. Nothing personal, just the usual stuff such us creative  differences. Aah, you've heard it before ...
However, this doesn't mean that we plan to remain inactive for a long time. Although we haven't found a permanent replacement drummer yet, we are going to rehearse the shit out of our practice space with our good friend and all-around cool dude Phil who has already played a tour with us before. If he will decide to stay in Innsbruck in the future, chances are good that he might be interested in joining me and Max in some serious Ratcliffs-action. We'll see.
Anyway, we are going to play a couple of shows with our good buddies the Deecracks in Italy in the autumn. For these shows, their drummer Mike is going to support us from behind his drum kit. Why? Because he can, my friends, because he can ...
So, keep in touch and order some Ratcliffs-shizzle (hahahar). For instance, our recent 7''-record is still out there, so give it a try!
That's it for now, I need food.

Okay, I noticed that we lost 8 "my-space friends" over the course of only a couple of hours. Well, I guess we're just not entertaining enough to satisfy your thirst for entertainment and information. So what!! Hmmm, so I'm gonna try to make you happy with some, like, weird stories that happen sometimes... Tonight we played a show and everything went well, basically. After the gig, I hung out in front of the venue when all of a sudden an obvious mad man drove by (doing 95 miles per hour or so...) and hit me with a cup of yoghurt. Yummy yummy strawberry yoghurt.. Two police cars were after him, chasing that dick around town, but that's still no reason. It still makes no sense at all. What a jerk, my jeans are still all spotty from that fuckin' yoghurt...

Current mood:  flirty
hi everybody!
we posted 4 new songs on our myspace-site today: the first two ("Schoolyard Dictator", "ChainsawMan") are brand new, we recorded them last weekend and are kind of a demo, since they are still in the working stage. so, we don't really know yet what to do with them. who knows, we'll see! but if you, foreign investor, want to release them on your label, get in contact with us...
the other two ("Stare You Down", "Run Little Rabbit Run") are from our debut CD-EP, which is still available directly from us!
So, give it a try and check these tunes out,
see ya,

Current mood:  horny
It's time to update, my friends! First of all, I'm back in my hometown of Innsbruck. Secondly, I finally found two fine young men who joined the band. In the blue corner, weighing 300 pounds, Max Power on guitar and vocals, and behind the drums, Marky Ratcliff. We're practicing constantly to get in shape for upcoming shows and are totally motivated to play your basement too.
Oh, before Marky joined the band, we played a short set of songs at the Mugwumps' single release party with Andy of the Mugwumps on drums. He also played on the songs that you can listen to at this profile. And instead of Max, Chris Mug did some downstrokes. Thanks to them! As soon as the new line up manages to record some new demo-songs we probably will put them up here to replace some of the old ones.
Ok, hope to hear from you folks...
And well, Heavy Metal still sucks.
yours,
Paul
