I am looking for a roomate to share the upstairs flat of my house in Detroit (Hubbard Farms/Mexicantown area)

I am not a neat freak, nor overly messy, relativly quiet, and looking for the same in a roomate.

My space has a big backyard, hard wood floors, upstairs porch, and a fantastic tenant downstairs who has lived here almost as long as I have.

I am asking 350, but will do 300 for anyone willing to let my boxer mix out during the day. Utilities will be shared.

my stomach is sick and my head is sore. a wholly unenjoyable band of balladeers has been playing outside my window, on the corner of the boulevard, for the last two hours (at least). la compania musical has been at it for hours...greeting my arrival from saturday afternoon at the office.

i spent the last 30 minutes up to my ears in bathwater. i am too lazy to go let myself into my sweetheart's house, and already too defeated to cross the street and pick a fight.

you win again, mexicantown. between the roosters at dawn and the mariachi band at nine fourty five, i am bit by bit becoming as crazy as the city i live in.

i killed my pansies. and my victory roses. my calla lilies look a wee bit under the weather too. its a good thing i didn't adopt that cute little kitty from the humane society. but maybe a kitty would be easier...at least it wouldn't just stand there quietly while i drown it with too much water and the best of intentions.
 
i'm making the very most of an opportunity to be careless. i have a drawer full of mismatched silverware, and get to leave left-over indian food on the counter just as long as i want. rock!

two nights ago i played scrabble with mr. handsome-face until waaay too late for a school night.. a few bottles of wine later we had a perfectly tied game. be still my beating heart.

 i wish life could go on like this forever.

the basement, is as cold as the freezer, but I guess I could have put the milk outside.

instead I left it on the counter, and after two days it spoiled.

This is the first time I've ever cried because I couldn't have cookies, at least for as long as I can remember.
