Hey Flotz Fans!

The Title of the new record is "The Cold". Travis Smith is once again going to do the cover, which we are extremely excited about because of his amazing skill and vision. The cover will also feature the debut of an up and coming new talent.
Some song titles are: "Black Cloud", "Secret Life", "Hypocrite", "Falling Short", "Take" and "I'll beat the fuck out of you". OK, that last one is not a title but it's close. :) 10 songs - ALL Brutal, ALL Killer, NO Filler!! We are currently finishing up guitars and starting on vocals. Still hopeful for a release in the first quarter of next year and to do as many shows as possible in support.

Thanks to everyone who made it out to KIT XI and hope to see you next year!

"As always, sorry for the long time since my last post, but the latest news is ALL good.

"It's already been released directly from the President and CEO of Warner Music Group, but in case you haven't heard, the band is now signed to Driven Music, founded by Brian 'Head' Welch from KORN, and now formally distributed by Warner through its Ryko Distribution. This is MAJOR news for this band. Not enough could be possibly said about the benefit of having such extensive distribution resources as Warner Music.

"The band will begin recording the new record this August and I will update with a proposed release date as soon as we are finished. This record will be given 100% of this bands talent, creativity, energy and passion. Nothing will be on it that we don't absolutely believe is the very best we could possibly create and deliver live. Also, our UNBELIEVABLY killer live DVD, filmed in Poland at the Metalmania Festival for many thousands of rabid fans, called 'Once In A Deathtime', will also be released this summer, June 29 is what we are hoping for. The filming is incredible, the crowd is huge, the band is on fire. Definitely check this DVD out. It is the one we have been hoping and waiting to make since the beginning.

"We headline a sold-out festival in Germany, Keep It True, in November, and it will be a very special old-school set. We will tour much of Europe again in December with some great bands to be announced in more detail very soon.

"So, as you can see, the band is very much in top form and busier than ever.

"Thank you and nothing but love from all of us to everyone out there who continues to stick with us!!"

Ryko Distribution has announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Driven Music Group to distribute all physical and digital releases from Driven Music's artists in the U.S. and Canada.

Driven Music Group was created by Brian "Head" Welch, a founding member, songwriter and guitarist from the multi-platinum rock band KoRn, music industry veteran Mark Nawara and entertainment law attorney Greg Shanaberger. As a member of KoRn, Welch won two Grammy Awards and sold more than 30 million albums. Welch's upcoming solo debut album, "Save Me From Myself," is scheduled to be released by Driven in the Fall of 2008 and will be distributed by Ryko Distribution, along with other Driven releases by Flotsam and Jetsam, 40 Below Summer, Crossbreed, Godhead and Soil among others. Ryko Distribution is headquartered in New York City and is a Warner Music Group company.

In making the announcement, John Esposito, President and CEO of WEA Corp., Warner Music Group's U.S. retail sales and marketing company, said, "We are thrilled to sign this agreement with a young, dynamic company such as Driven Music Group. We look forward to offering Driven the ability to tap into WEA's extensive retail distribution network and get its artists' music out to consumers."

Jim Cuomo, President of Ryko Corp., added, "Independent, genre-specific labels like Driven play an integral role in the business today and this partnership offers them the ability to benefit from our reach and expertise in the independent music community."

Welch added, "I am so pumped to finally get my music out there to my fans. It reminds me of the excitement that I felt when I signed my first record deal with KoRn years ago. I'm equally excited to have a solid system set up to help other artists get their music out to the world. Everyone at WEA/Ryko has already made me and my partners feel so welcome and we truly feel blessed to be a part of the WEA/Ryko family."

Driven Music Group is an independent record company, dedicated to the very best in "Rock and Metal." Driven Music Group currently consists of the following imprints --Driven Music and H2C Music. Driven Music produces the best in established rock music, while H2C is home to Brian "Head" Welch, one of the founding members of KoRn. H2C also deals in Christian based metal and hardcore music. Currently, Welch is in the studio finishing up his debut solo album which is scheduled for release in the Fall of 2008. The album's first single, "Flush," will be available exclusively on iTunes on July 8, 2008. In addition, the music group has assembled a stable of gifted and dedicated artists who continue to search for musical talent whose emphasis is both the music and the message.

Flotsam and Jetsam's "Once In A Deathtime" two-disc DVD/CD set that was recorded and filmed last year in Europe will be reaching North American soil on July 29th via Driven Music Group, Inc.

The package is currently scheduled for a European release on June 16 by Metal Mind Productions.
