Hallo Freaks,

noch mal vielen Dank an alle, die am Samstag nicht die Geduld verloren und bis 3 ( ! ) Uhr Morgens auf unseren Auftritt in der Stadthalle in Lichtenfels gewartet haben! Ich möchte an dieser Stelle noch mal betonen, dass der Grund für die Verzögerung weder beim Veranstalter, noch bei Subway to Sally lag, die mit ähnlichen technischen Problemen zu kämpfen hatten wie offensichtlich viele Bands des Festivals.

Hier noch ein Statement von unserem  Tourmanager und Soundtechniker Pit Bender:

"Leider war es aus technischen Gründen vor Ort speziell durch die technisch anspruchsvollen Umbauten der meisten Bands vor Kreator nicht möglich eine derartige Verspätung zu verhindern.
Dieses in Kombination mit personeller Unterbesetzung der ausführenden Produktionsfirma sind aus meiner Sicht die Hauptgründe.
Also definitiv nichts was die Künstler oder deren Crews zu verantworten hätten."

Ursprünglich sollten Kreator um 0 Uhr 30 auf die Bühne.Um 3 Uhr morgens war es dann endlich so weit! Trotzdem hoffe ich, dass ihr, die so zahlreich ausgeharrt haben, trotzdem eine gute Zeit hattet!

Uns hat der Auftritt jedenfalls sehr viel spass gemacht - danke an alle Freaks, die selbst um kurz vor vier Uhr Morgens noch einen riesigen Moshpit veranstalteten - Bavaria Style!!!! Danke an euch alle!!!

We, the band, incidentally heard about that yesterday. We're confused too.

Kreator will shoot a video clip for " Destroy what destroys you", a song of their latest release " Hordes of chaos!" during their show with Exodus at Espacio Broadway in Santiago del Chile, this Saturday, October 17 th!

Lyrically the song is a homage to german protest singer Rio Reiser. Mille Petrozza:" To shoot a video clip in Santiago del Chile is like a dream come true for us! Kreator has had a very special relationship with the chilean metalheads since day one! We are really looking foreward to capture the magic, that has been present every time we played the city! Vamos people from Chile! Let..s show the rest of the world that Santiago is one of the most metal citys on earth!!! We..ll see you on Saturday"


The clip will be directed by chilean video artist Carlos Toro at www.abysmo.cl who has previously worked with Vader, Mercenary and Lacrimosa!

NEW UPDATE - 11:15am:

Hey everyone -

Actually, we have two more small updates regarding South America.  The gig in Santiago, Chile on October 17th will be at Espacio Broadway. 

Also, the show in Curitiba at Masterhall on October 27th is NOT CANCELED!!!  The venue had been changed, that's all.  We have been told by a few people that places like LastFM and whatnot have been saying it's canceled, so we want to reassure you that the show WILL GO ON.  Not sure why they thought it's canceled when it was just moved to a new venue. 

Please spread the word about these two shows and the one below in this blog - thank you!!!

Hey everyone -

One last show has been added for South America!  The gig is on October 18th at Gimnasio Municipal in Concepcion, Chile.  PLEASE - if you have a chance to forward this news to your friends there, do so!  We know it's last minute, but we are sure that the metal fans there will show up in force if people know about the gig.  Thank you!

We..re right in the middle of our world tour as I..m writing this from a hotel room in San Salvador. This tour has led us through Russia, China, Japan, Australia, Mexico, Guatemala and now El Salvador. It proves ones again that metal has become a worldwide phenomena!
 
No matter what cultural or religious background, there is always a huge audience on this tou.! I..m overwhelmed by the reaction of the crowd every night and even though we have a tough schedule and we all have been jetlagged a lot, this is one of the most fun tours I..ve ever been on!
 
We..ve met up with Exodus who are with us on this South/ Central American part of the tour and it..s great to see them kill at every single show. This package is brutal, the fans are getting the full treatment - with Exodus and Kreator on one bill, this is a true night of violence!
 
It was quite a bizarre bus trip coming from Guatemala into El Salvador, just looking out of the window as we rode through the jungle was very interesting and different from anything most of us have seen before. The San Salvadorian audience last night was one of the craziest ever and for both bands it was the first time in El Salvador - but hopefully not the last!
 
We want to thank all of our amazing fans and the members of the Inner Circle for coming to the shows all over the globe! We have twelve more shows coming up and I..m really looking forward to the concerts in Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Brazil!
 
If you live close by, don..t miss this! I..ll check in another time towards the end to give you another impression of how this crazy world tour went.

A quick update for you from the Kreator camp.  Ventor will be sitting out of some of the upcoming tour dates that we have, due to some personal issues.  Not to worry, Ventor is fine and will be playing live again soon.  For the time being, we have recruited Marco Minnemann, a world class drummer that has graciously stepped in to help us out.  Marco is best known for his stints in Necrophagist, Illogicist, and Ephel Duath.  You can check him out by going to his myspace page at www.myspace.com/marcominnemann and you can also see a couple of outstanding videos of him below:
