Current mood: creative
So after biting the bullet on a few DIY recordings We've taken some time aside to Record with Malcomn & Co at Orange and Blue Studios in Catford.
We booked an intense recording period of 6 days with the aim to get the bulk of maybe 5 sings at a push.
However the productive atmosphere and general enthusiasm resulted in 8 songs finding completion.
All of the O & B team were a pleasure to be around and we must thank all of the Pigshacklers, the stocktans, the longfellows and the wonderful Si for helping make the focus and the downtime a pleasure.

Current mood: hungry
Showing a blatant disregard for the weather, last night Julia hosted a Hawaiian Beach Party at her house. The decor was marvellous; People came dressed to impress; Well - everyone except this berk, who thought it would be acceptable to turn up in jeans, & then roll them up. This isn't Blackpool, son! Even I made the effort; Note MySpace irony of taking the pic myself at arm's length. I discovered that Morrision's have their own brand of vodka. "What on earth could they have called it?" I hear you ask. Well - Nice. Our mate Chris then did some fire breathing/juggling in the garden, which was awesome; Then Julia's flatemate, Clay, dug out a hat that looked like the man from Del Monte had lent it to Captain Jack Sparrow; Even the toilet was punned to the max; Quality night. Nice one J. Leon MPJ

Hi,
I regret to announce that we've had to cancel our gig at Luton Student Union, and will not be able to play electrically for at least a month. This is on the advice of my doctor, as I've sustained a perforated ear drum. It's a right bugger.
In the meantime, we'll be focusing on some (very quiet) work on our second album.
Hope you're all good.

Due to communication issues between the promoter and the venue it looks like our show at Dingwalls will be postponed to a different date.
We apologize for the inconvienience and hope to have it rescheduled soon.
This also means our live record will be put on hold for the time being.
However we have started work on our next Studio album so at least there is some good news.
All the best,
MPJ

That's right...we're back in the studio!
We're holed up in a secret London location laying down drum tracks. Leon is currently pounding away while Stu fiddles with knobs.
It's sounding fruity. Ding dong. Jingle bells.
More updates soon...

We're finally playing an arena!
Not the famous London one - the infamous St Albans one. According to the flyer for our gig on the 13th July, the Alban Arena is 'The Face Of Rock'. If rock were to have a face, I don't think it would be the Alban Arena - it would be a really deep canyon with flames at the bottom. Or Jeremy Beadle's arse. Anyway, we're sure that Alban Arena WILL be both the face and general genital region of rock on the 13th, as there's 6 bands playing and it's going to be large. And rockin'. Possibily the biggest night St Albans has ever seen since the Romans left and took their feasts and orgies with them.
Tickets are available from the box office to collect in person, or by phone on 01727 844488

Can you name all Of the matches they've played? Can you spot all Of the fouls that they've made? I believe what goes around comes around... Where was the ref when he hit the ground? Never stake your claim in matches won by cheating... Cos you might get a beating
Winning with the diving It doesn't have a meaning They can't do that, can they? But refs make mistakes And give Italy breaks And you know it's true... Don't yoooooooooooou....?
Winning with the diving, it doesn't have a meaning Winning with the diving, it doesn't have a meaning Winning with the diving, it doesn't have a meaning Winning with the diving, it doesn't have a meaning

Hi All,
Sorry to have not done this Sooner. I've been gigging every night and haven't had the opportunity to get online. We'd like to just apologise to anyone who came down to see us play acoustic at the Caernarvon Castle on Tuesday.
The gig was cancelled without anyone telling us. We showed up to play it and were told by some big can swigging guys that the show wasn't on and that's that. We didn't have time to let anyone know because we didn't know.
Basically the promoter booked us and then got sent to jail. So all his gigs got cancelled and we weren't told.
My Fullest apologies to anyone who made the trek.
We appreciate the support and promise that we would have let people know had we known.

Take a look in our video section for some rare footage of Stu warming up at The Kentish Town Forum. See the exercises he performs to hit those high notes. Best if Stu's mum doesn't see it though...
