I'm sure WWE fans are already all over this bit of news.. but it look like the upcoming Glen Jacobs (WWE's Kane) horror film "See No Evil", AKA "The Goodnight Man", AKA "Goodnight", AKA "Eye Scream Man" has finally gotten a release date.. well a release month. Fangoria has learned that See No Evil will be slated for a March 2006 release, which looks to coinside with the novelization by Dan Madigan (who also scripted the film). The synopsis for the movie goes a little something like this: "Seven feet tall. Four hundred pounds. With a rusty steel plate screwed into his skull and razor-sharp fingernails that pluck out his victims’ eyes. Reclusive psychopath Jacob Goodnight is holed up in the long-abandoned Blackwell Hotel, alone with his nightmares until eight petty criminals show up for community service duty…along with the cop who put a bullet in Jacob’s head four years ago." Antikorper aka Antibody (2005) Dir Christian Alvart Brand new German serial killer flick Antikorper (Antibody) looks to be a gruesome little affair.Using the cool marketing trick of having two posters a naked or clothed one .The unclothed one looks so slick allmost like an American Psycho out-take,and from the imdb usercomments the film its self is a real Silence of the Lambs rip-off.That said if your gonna rip a serial killer film off those are two worth doing. "Long wanted serial killer Gabriel Engel gets arrested in a spectacular police strike. Small town cop Michael Martens travels to the big city to interrogate him. He associates a brutal murder case with the killer's method and hopes to close the case by getting a confession from Engel. Instead the clash of the two totally opposite characters shakes Michaels beliefs to the ground, turning him into a dangerous threat to the people around him." IMDB synopsis It recently played the German Fantasy Film Festival and is on general release now in Germany, not sure when or if an international subbed release is planned but its sure one I'll be keeping my eye out on,because after the awesome German film Tattoo I've been curious to see more from 'em appart from the usual gore flicks that they churn out in numbers, the director of Antikorper Christian Alvart is allready underway on another film called Killer Queen set for (2006). ~Official Site Includes Trailer~ ~IMDB Page~

Engineering Red (1993) Andrei Yi Long before net shock sites like orgish and rotten, people who wanted to be shocked had to make do with Mondo films (Mondo means world in italian the country that made most mondo shock films,so the mondo genre is formed of real world horror docu's).Well just got through watching a recently unearthed vhs by one of All Things Horror's Russian members Disc so huge thanks for finding it. The film is Engineering Red (1993) by Andrei Yi and consistes of mainly found footage of operations and other unsavory items like various conjoined twin footage including a filmed seperation also lots limb cutting & brain surgery thrown in for good measure. All wrapped around artsy footage of medical equipment and a woman in various dance poses.Sadly any plot or naration was lost with it being Russian language only, only its written chapters being in English. I Cant say its an happy viewing experience but one that you just cant seem to stop watching. But worth at least hunting down to bang in the collection I'd say.

Omen 666 was being released on 6/6/06. Now it appears they are beginning to assemble a cast. Julia Stiles and Liev Schreiber are in talks to appear in the movie as Lee Remick and Gregory Pecks characters. This will clear the way for the expected release date which just so happens to be a Tuesday. Richard Donner really made this movie what it is when he directed the original in 1976. Now John Moore will have to live up to some high standards directing a scipt by Dan McDermott. If they really want to make this movie anything like the original they better hire some very talented people to do the score. That is one of the most striking things about the original.

Synopsis from the toetag website: Kim has just ended a six-year relationship with her boyfriend Mitch. After a little encouragement, she agrees to get her mind off the break up by hitting the biggest party of the year with her best friend. Mortified and enraged Mitch sets out to find his beloved Kim, in hopes of winning her back. After the party gets busted, Kim and her group of friends decide to continue the party at the town’s most notorious urban legend. Butchery and carnage will reign as Mitch seeks vengeance on Kim, her best friend and anyone else that gets in his way of following her to THE REDSIN TOWER And the poster which has a old school 70's explotation look which I really like From what I have read it will be release this coming fall. And on similar news Fred Vogel will start filming the third and final installment of August Underground which will be titled Penance this winter. So hopefully next summer we will get to see what he will come up with for that. He said that the script is finished and even he was questioning himself on whether if some of the stuff goes too far. source Aurtach @ All Things Horror
