you try to be nice about it, and it doesn't stop until you get angry, and tell them to flat out shut up.
i hate that phrase... SHUT UP. even with please in front of it, its still harsh.
So please when you get tennis shoe mouth (running off at the mouth) and realize you should stop. please do before you really tick me off with your BULL DRAMA.
thank you

Current mood: betrayed
Due to recent events, (its been going on for over 2 years now.) This is a new twist. We have incessant stalkers, haters that don't know us. They lurk behind fictitious pages, and have been copying Heathers work, and ideas, and trying to effect my musical career, by talking crap. They have been hating on us, FOR 2 YEARS and we are tired of their game. We can't do anything about it...well we could but that is illegal. We can't stop them from talking trash among their friends. (I can't imagine anyone wanting to be friends with them) But trash talks trash, and tells lies about people they don't know. This time it was personal with me. I am sick of it. It was the last straw. I won't go into detail but if you are a close friend, I am sure you heard about it.
Heather has deleted her myspace pages. She is tired of seeing her ideas showing up on somebody else's page.
I have made my friends and comments private. You can still leave me a comment but only I will be able to view it.

Current mood: annoyed
It amazes me how people who don't know you, can hate on you and steer how someone thinks of you after they meet you. The power of suggestion is an awesome tool when used properly. Its funny because they think they are messing up what I have going on, when actually it has no effect, except for confusing the hell out of me. Hatred is bad mmmmmmmk.
Please, in the future if you know nothing about me please keep your mouth shut.
Seek the truth and ye shall find it. Believe lies and rumors, and you become part of the lies and rumors. There are two people I blame for spreading lies about Heather and I. I have never done anything to you, hell I have never met you. WHY must you be this way? Karma is a bitch, and I'll laugh when it bites you in the ass. You act like you are 16. Grown up! Don't go away mad, just go away, leave us alone, and quit stalking Heather and I.

This morning, I was jolted to a sober state by my 2 dogs raising hell that somebody was in the driveway. NOT once but twice. I investigated at 5am. This sucked, because I'm sure it was the meth heads down the street scoping the joint out. Then as Heather and I lay there, we could hear people screaming at each other. We went out on the porch to listen to the meth heads fight. So I called the law. Don't know if they did anything to them, but the were out in the street for 20 minutes talking to the deputy. I am not real happy about being wide eyed and bushy tailed this morning I would rather have gone back to sleep. I couldn't, it pissed me off I wanted somebody to go to jail dammit. I love my dogs because they alerted me about the situation. All the protection, even after I got them their rabies shot yesterday. They are good kids. I brought them inside and fed them, because that the least I could do. I found this online, and I found it appropriate, and touching. -From a speech given by
Former Senator George Graham Vest
of Missouri. Delivered in 1870 when he
was acting as a lawyer in a suit against
a man who had killed the dog of his
client. -- He won the case. ONE MAN'S SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO A DOG The one absolutely unselfish friend that
a man can have in this selfish world,
the one that never deserts him,
the one that never proves ungrateful
or treacherous, is his dog.A man's dog stands by him in prosperity
and in poverty,
in health and in sickness.
He will sleep on the cold ground where
the wintery winds blow,
and the snow drives fiercely,
if only he may be near his master's
side. He will kiss the hand that has no
food to offer, he will lick the sores
and wounds that come in encounter with
the roughness of the world. He guards
the sleep of his Pauper master as if he
were a prince. When all other friends desert,
he remains.
When riches take wings and reputation
falls to pieces, he is as constant in
his love as the sun in it's journey
through the heavens.
If misfortune drives the master forth
an outcast in the world, friendless
and homeless, the faithful dog asks
no higher privilege than that of
accompanying him to guard against
danger, to fight against his enemies. And when the last scene of all comes,
and death takes the master in it's
embrace, and his body is laid away in
the cold ground, no matter if all other
friends pursue their way, there by the
graveside will the noble dog be found,
his head between his paws, his eyes sad,
but open in alert watchfulness,
faithful and true, even in death.

Current mood: aggravated
I read an article this morning and it kinda hit home how I am feeling right now. I have so many choices of people to play with, and the group I have chosen is having the most problems of getting things going. Everyone is extremely talented. Its not getting where it needs to be as fast I would like, and I am over analyzing the situation, and its occupying too much of my thoughts.
------>As quoted by Warren Haynes in EQ magazine<-----
"There are always moments when something technically goes wrong or musically goes wrong, or things just aren't gelling or clicking. I think many musicians tend to over amplify what that really means. In our brains, its a catastrophe. You tell yourself, 'everyone in the audience knows exactly how bad this is.' You have to remind yourself that it's never as bad as you think. I don't think that an audience's reaction, and what a musician thinks are the same. As an example, some nights I might walk off stage thinking I had a terrible night, and yet someone who has seen me play many times might come up to me and say, "Wow, that's the best I have ever heard you." And, I may walk off stage one night thinking, 'Wow, I really had a really good show, I discovered some new territory.' But again, someone who has seen me many times may come up and say, "Eh, I've heard you play a lot better.' The lesson here is not to self-edit too much. Just play, because no matter what you do, someone other than yourself is going to decide whether its great or not."

This year is the year for Mamas Money. It will actually be 2009, but they award the Coveys in 2010, so its called the 2010 awards. I have added the demo tunes to my player. They are crackly and stuff because of myspace quality. The cd doesn't do that. Please visit MAMAS MONEY and add my new band! Thanks!

I removed old blogs because I felt the negative vibe wasn't good. BYE
With all the calls coming in for basser postions to be filled, and possible new bands, blah blah blah, it has my head spinning. I don't which way to go. You know I WANT to play them all, but alas, I can't. I would like to start a bass school for teens.
I really enjoyed playing with Mike Diamond, and company in Pensacola on Sat. Those guys were pro to the hilt. Awesome group! I couldn't have asked for a better fill in gig. I had a great time! Thanks for having me Mike, and Spud, and umm sorry I forgot the drummers name...LOL Thanks guys you ROCK!
I still want to start doing some recording. I have some ideas, a few grooves, and some words.I don't want to do it all myself(drums, bass, guitar, and keys) I still remember the last time I tried that. It did give everybody a general idea. Maybe I'll do the Michael Manring thing and do it all on a BASS! Make it mine and a BASS intrumental.

Congrats to Obama, The Democratic Party and the media for pulling this one out.
I personally don't trust him.
Que sera sera.
Lets make the best of it.
No reason to cry about it.

Current mood: anxious
I'm getting the new recording itch because I'm bored musically, and I want to record something fresh and new. So guess what family, friends, and fans. I will be doing just that, playing everyday, writing new material. Even if for a few minutes to an hour. Polishing, arranging it all, then recording.
As always I want to play to top of my ability when I perform live. I should jam, and practice more. I wish I was a better singer too. Oh well I'll play my ass off, so I don't have to sing.
Heh
Ya'll have a safe and fun filled weekend!
