Been busy in this desperately desperate festive period amassing a few assorted gigs for the new year with the emphasis on getting my arse out of Essex..well, as far as London at least. Unfortunately one has to perform open-mics and showcases of 15/30 mins in order to get bigger spots so that'll be me trawling the snowbound streets of the capital with guitar in frozen paw...always tricky getting people to come to where one is only playing a short set but if you do make the effort I will cheerfully buy you a beer or two and then drunkenly cadge a lift home..there's a couple or three local ones too (including a new festival in rochford!!) so get your selves to the shows pop-pickers....off to see Jackie Leven sunday oh yes...and don't y'all dare forget the phil b. group 'end of year show' at the ship in leigh on 29th..should be a hoot, nanny! Abyssinia!
