2009 is coming to an end and it sure has been a good year. We had a hell of time most of the time. Managed to stay out of trouble (I think) and made a whole bunch of new friends along the way.

At the moment we're writing & rehearsing new songs. 2010 will see the release of a brand new Sonic Surf City album. We've just signed a deal with Killer Cobra Records. Studio has been booked for pre-productions. No producer has been chosen yet, but we have a few in mind to make this the best album we've ever made. We're really excited about going back to the studio and about the whole thing. We wont dissapoint you...money back guarantee.

For the gig that takes place on the 26th of December in Norrköping, Sweden we've had a 6-track limited edition cd made. Intended to be released as a single to launch her career. It never happened and maybe it was for the best. I don't know. Quite catchy tunes though. Recorded late -95 early -96.

Yeah! There's a new guitar in town. All the pieces are starting to fall in to place.
The last weeks rehearsals has been very satisfying. Much thanks to our new recruit,
Original Nifter guitarhero Johan Söderhielm. New blood adds positive energy.
I don't think we've been this good since...eehhh! Actually, I don't think we've ever been this good, and we're just getting started. Soon we'll be ready to take on the world once again. We're back!!! For better or for worse. Speaking on behalf of Sonic Surf City, we haven't been this exited in years. I think 2009 will be a great year. We are finally starting to get a bit organized. Still things to be sorted out. So many places to go.
There's been a few changes since the last time. No extreme makeover, I think you'll still recognize us. Belinda or Nina Pasadena won't be joining us this time, so it's up to me to do the falsetto. We're additioning a second guitarist as we speak, Rikki won't be able to make it. This is for real, not just a few one off gigs. Ever since the final curtain went down in flames back in '97 we've been asked to comeback. We have done some shows over the years, but we haven't really thought much of a permanent re-union until now that is. With No Tomorrow in Spain and Vivid Sound in Japan releasing compilation cd's of our early stuff, and a growing following of fans from all over the world how can you resist it. We're enthusiastic and optimistic about the future, no economic crises will ever change that. I will do my best and try to keep you updated as things progress. In the mean time stay tuned on myspace.
