You must include your name, the time, date, cover charge and venue plus a daytime phone number. This is a feature that they put at the top of the weekend calendar section of the paper and we all hope that your bands or artists pictures get published.

We have the Florida papers music and scene writers in our myspace top 24 friends list Please be courteous and professional when writing to these guys "do not put write a story about us and expect one written" this will definitely turn them off as well as us here at The Metro. These gentlemen work with Florida Today and Brevard Live and are very in touch with the music scene. In the Memo section when contacting you must put Metro and the date of your show. They get many many emails a day from bands, labels etc. So this must be in the memo section so it will not be lost or forgotten.

We have found a great & inexpensive company called Club Flyers. If you sign up with them you get 1000 free cards every month your band & dates on one side their stuff on the other. Tour bands they are very inexpensive.
