we all got screwed, or at least those of us that pay taxes and work for a living. The working class got screwed, the investment class got a free handout. We've literally been taken in a second constructed wealth consolidation. The first one was the crash that stemmed the Great Depression. In my opinion, that was intentional, and i don't see much different between that and our new debacle. Basically the investor class made rediculous amounts of money on crazy financial moves that failed miserably and then we the tax payer swooped in and gave them more money. stupid... Too big to fail is too big to exist. for a much better explanation go read Matt Taibbi's new article in Rolling Stone http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/26793903/the_big_takeover/

Nyquil has got to be the best thing for an illness. In fact, I may even start taking it when i'm feeling blue. It is just great. Makes me feel better and justifies my sleeping all day long. On the contrary, Dayquil sucks! Whats the point? Why would I take a cold medicine that gets rid of the symptoms but doesn't make me feel loopy and weird? My conclusion. Take Nyquil during the day and night, take Dayquil never....
p.s. Nyquil is especially nice with a glass of wine.

I recently had the opportunity to go hang out with James and Jimi of Sessions From the Box, a local Portland Podcast. We spent an afternoon playing tunes and talking. It was a blast and my first experience with Podcasting. It was fun to be able to do some acoustic work. They have some great sessions at their website, www.sessionsfromthebox.com. This is the first of two sessions. The next one will be posted soon. Check it out. -matt

Thats right, we are releasing our new record on Election Day!!!! Hows that for timing? The album is called "Daylight Breaking" and we are very proud of it. We recorded in Lexington Kentucky with Duane Lundy (Producer) at Shangri-La Studios. The record has just gone out to radio and press and we are hoping for a favorable response. If you are interested in a copy you can message us and if we have any more left, we'll send you one. Or you can buy it at all of the major digital music services (Itunes, Napster, Emusic, etc..) Hope you enjoy it. Go Obama!

Our new record "Daylight Breaking" has just gone out to College Radio. We are super excited to see what kind of response it gets. College Radio has been the taste maker in rock for over three decades now, so we are eager to throw our hat in the mix. If you are a student and or live near a campus that has a station, please let them know that you would like to hear "Daylight Breaking" played. Any track is fine with us. This radio format my be the only one that would play our nine minute version of Townes Van Zandt's "Marie", so that would be really cool to hear. The record officially releases November 4th, but you can hear it on our website or myspace and buy a copy at any of the major digital services; Itunes, Emusic, etc... Here's to a good run at College Radio
