Current mood:  chipper
Just put up new shelving to accomidate all my flower and veggie seedlings. I have enough stuff to replant my whole yard. Gardening has become a daily task I welcome. The extra hour or so a day helps me keep away from the fridge, maybe I'll eventually fit back through the front door (HA!!). Tomatoes are growing very well as are the cukes. My small(cayanne) pepper pack is behind the rest, staggered planting will do that. Corn just started to sprout, so maybe by the Fourth we'll be able to eat some. Pics will be posted later once I buy new batteries. It's rough trying to film a porn 3 minutes at a time...

Peace,love and positivity,
Mark

Picked up my mom andheaded out the the Skyway Pier yesterday morning. Caught the incoming tide, wasn't a strong one, and found a nice spot to try. The mackeral started hitting at 5 am and didn't slow down. We must have hooked about 30 of them, all way over the minium size limit of 12" at the fork. Lost a shit load of tackle to them toothy fish. We kept about 11 to eat. My mom caught the biggest two fish, each going over 22 inches. She needed to have a "get out" day. Got home before 11 am and started filleting me some fish. Here's a pic.

I picked up Wombat at this bar and... just kidding

Last weekend, I took my nephew fishing at Fort DeSoto. While we fished, I set out a small drop net to try to catch some blue crabs. First time for me trying to crab from a pier. We only got 5 keeper blues (over 5" across the back) with a couple going over 7". We also caught 2 very large conchs, nasty looking fuckers and 1 solitary stone crab. The stone crab went straight back ASAP, I don't know the season and didn't a $500 ticket. Now I'm making a new net with a small mesh size because I'm bored. God my life is boring.

Peace be with you,
Mark

P.S. Them crabs were damn good..

A bizarre situation happened tonight at dinner. My girlfriend and I were at a chinese buffet, I know "Fat guy at buffet", as we were eating we realized we were watchng Telemundo in a resturant full of chinese people. It was like going to an italian resturant  run by ethiopians. It made no sense. I thought it was funny, then again I hit on a girl at her cousin's viewing.

This is classic. Two weeks into hurricane season and we get a small storm that will move through Florida on Tuesday. Every weatherman is sporting wood as we speak because they get to use their Doppler 8 Billion K9 Arf Radar and have up to the moment updates of local flooding and evacs to the area high schools. After Alberto passes, Jerry Farwell or Pat Robertson will poke their head out of the pile of cash they were swimming in to say god is angry with Florida for not giving all gay people the gas chamber.

Peace be with you all.

Current mood:  exhausted
A whole 3 days off and I finally got around to getting some things done.
Saw X-Men3. Ummm I'm a bit critical of the lack of any continuity and plot.Won't post what bothered me in case somebody reads this and hasn't seen the flick.
Went to Fort DeSoto yesterday to do some fishing and caught a few keeper mackeral. Stayed until 10 am then some Ruissians decided to squeeze me out of my spot.
Today, I got the lawn mowed and my mulch hill mowed down. Only cut up 2 snakes. Damn the sun was brutal today. Got a wife beater tan now.
Fixed my leaky toilet. WooHoo. Now I just have to install the new shower.
Working on new period clothing for my GI Joes. I.E. Heian Era of Japan and the medieval ages of Eurpoe.

All but finished my latest puppet. Been working on and off on it for about 4 months. The puppet is just a simple head and neck with a neat covering. Hope it is well received by the owners of some my former puppets. Here's a pic of  "Chuck". It is hard to have a hand up a puppet's butt and take good pics. the difference in color is the right one was using the flash. Enjoy...

Peace be with you,
Mark

Went yesterday to Megacon in Orlando with my girlfriend and nephew. I'm not saying parking at the Orlange County Convention Center was fucked up, but DAMMIT PEOPLE, could you do a better job of traffic control. After shelling out my $10 for parking and trodging down  stairs 3 floors, I was not a happy camper.
It was worth all the trouble since I was only going to see Lloyd Kaufman of Toxic Avenger fame. I'll get back to this later, but only the sci-fi geeks... I give much props to the people there with their homemade costumes. I saw a couple sort of dressed as Err and Ignignokt from Aqua Teen Hungry Force. Ok they were just wearing cardboard boxes painted pink and green, but they points for the concept.
On to more important stuff. Went to a Q&A with Lloyd Kaufman and Debbie Rochon(sp). Lloyd got held up in traffic from the hotel so he ran late. We got to see the trailer for Poultrygeist. It got a great response from the Troma fans in the room and we got a sneak oeek at the music video for the theme song . Damn song is catchy. I finally got to meet Lloyd at the Troma booth on the main floor of the convention. I was more nervous trying to talk to him than I was booty dancing in my glitter thong at MM2003. It took my a good minute to tell him I was the guy that make the Col Kluck costume. I thanked him for letting me do it and he thanked me a couple of times for doing it. He signed a pic I had of him putting on the costume. There was a couple of other film people there while I was talking with Lloyd and one of them heard that I did the chicken costume and asked if I might be willing to do some for her next film. She wanted my phone number to contact me, but I dont know my number seeing I never call myself so I had to give her my e-mail address and told her it was easier to get a hold of me this way. Plus I have to buy minutes for my Tracphone, yes Tracphone. I don't talk on the phone much and its more financialy sound for me to own one.
This blog entry is longer than most of my high school English papers.

As I was finishing up Foolah Foolah Bird (puppet) for my aunt in Californina, I checked the Poultrygeist website for any updates and  found aa press photo section. It had all of 1 article from a magazine called HotDog, some brit mag I think, but my chicken suit was in the main pic with Llyod Kaufman and the movie's leading man. I'm geeked up again , it beats being on local radio. Best part is Llyod Kaufman is going to be at Megacon(sci-fi convention) in 2 weeks and I'll be sooo nervous to meet him. Working on lines to introduce myself to him as the guy that made the Col Kluck costume for his movie. I'll probably shit my pants and wind up in the corner in the fetus postion. Beware the leprechan army, they is a coming.
