Future Home of The Bass/Nature Camp

Many people have been positively touched or affected by Victor’s Bass/Nature Camp, and want to "give back" in some way.

After searching for over a year, Victor and Holly have finally found and purchased the perfect location for Bass/Nature Camp. With over a ½ mile of frontage on the Duck River, this place promises to be the ideal location to further our efforts in making the world a more beautiful, musical place. Finding and purchasing the land was not easy, but with your help, transforming it into the living, breathing Bass/Nature Camp we all know and love can be.

Many people have asked questions about when, where, and how to make or send donations for our Wooten Woods project. Well, the time is now! In order to make the most of our upcoming April building weekend, your $100 donation will help us purchase as many building and kitchen materials as possible right away. If we can come up with enough money to construct two buildings, we can run the next camp here as early as June; hallelujah!

We really, really appreciate all of you and will try to make it easy for you to help. Right now, just about everything is needed. Just think about what it takes to build and run a camp and we are probably in need of just that: buildings, cabins, tables and benches, chairs, windows, window coverings, shower curtains, toilets, everything!

The best way to help right now is by making a $100 donation. Of course, donations of larger (or smaller) amounts are greatly appreciated, but since we don’t have non-profit status (yet), we are trying to keep the donation request as low as possible. If we all pull together, we can have this camp up and running very soon.

We have also set up registries at Home Depot and Lowes. It is difficult for us to list individual items (ie. How many 2x4’s, or plywood sheets) and we foresee that there will be necessary last minute purchases made during the building weekend. For these reasons, a gift card from either store could be the easiest solution.
