My sincere apologies for the lengthy lack of any reaction to mails and friend requests. Actually, it seems, that Gmail dumps messages from Myspace, and I had no time to check out Myspace for last two-and-a-half months. Now, as 'Rebecca' staging is almost over for me, I'm getting back to my projects, but mostly to Lacklustre Mirror. It's unclear, whether any new album will be produced this year. Most probably none.

thank you for all adding this profile as a friend, nice to meet you and nice to know Decembered is being listened to, even though there weren't any activities lately.

as a matter of fact, I'm involved in 'Rebecca' musical workshop staging which is running now in Moscow. all my efforts had been focused there, so too little time left for anything else. this Wednesday, May 27th, we'll have last show for the spring season, and then I'm going to pick up all of the 'tails' - there are quite a few started but unfinished album projects for Decembered. Check out a new tune as soon as it is 'processed' as a proof.

I have withdrew from Children of the Gun band, and shut down Lacklustre Mirror project as well, simply because it became too dissatisfying to keep playing with those projects, especially after (but not due to) that fantastic - and extremely fruitful - 'Rebecca' experience.

anyway, there's a way to go for Decembered now; further plans will be announced as soon as they draw closer to reality.

It’s been ages a while since anything new have been uploaded here; well, here goes the first song of those five performed during D.’s first live session on Feb. 23rd in Arkhangelsk.

This song is called ’Arkhangelsk-Severodvinsk: The Land of The Stealthy Sun’... It’s dedicated to White Sea, lengthy shadows in Arkhangelsk and those folks from both cities we’ve met there during trips last autumn and in the end of this winter.

This my expression of gratitude for you, Count ASH, Lanire, N/Vi and others.

Well, the first D.'s live appeared to be quite smooth, which is pleasant, of course. It yet remains to see did the harsh sounds I'd been making appeal to the club's visitors, but I hope they did.

NetAudio Russia net-label just have 'formally' released our second album A Treatise on Eschatology (2006) in a superior quality of 320 kbs, - the album is immediately available for free download via the link above, - don't forget to check out the accompanying docs ;)

It comes as a bit of surprise that NetAudio decided to release exactly this work of the three currently available, - personally I don't think it's the best record I've ever done, but... Well, here goes our first 'formal' full-time release.

'Decembered' kept low over last several months, but it doesn't mean the project was completely inactive, even though its founder finds himself on his own again, just like it had been back then in December 2004/January 2005,when the project emerged.

Alright, here go the announcements.

I. DECEMBERED struck quite an unusual alliance with THE MORNINGSIDE doom-death metal band, and as of today both are finishing their partsof job on our first 'joint' album, under the working title 'MOONWIND'.

Initially it had been supposed to be just a promo record for both bands, yet finally it grew into a full-scale album, comprising very different tracks - doom-death metal, dark ambient, folk-industrial, etc.

The final version of the album is expected by Xmas, or early next year.

About THE MORNINGSIDE

Foundedin 2003, Moscow, Russia-based THE MORNINGSIDE act plays 'classic' guitar doom-death metal, which is vaguely resembling music of suchmetal scene heroes as PARADISE LOST and KATATONIA, yet still feelsquite innovative and inventive, despite the widely spread mistake thatdoom-death metal is all but obsolete genre. In 2007 the first album by THE MORNINGSIDE - THE WIND, THE TREES AND THE SHADOWS OF THE PAST - hadbeen released by SOLITUDE PROD/BADMOODMAN MUSIC label.
