What's up everyone!

It's been a looong time since I've been on this myspace page, but it's awesome to see people still love something we did so long ago.  It's really amazing.

But as you know we've all moved on to new things... so i thought I might update you on what I'M up to (and do a little shameless self promoting while i'm at it)

I moved to Los Angeles all on my lonesome back in April and since then have been working as a Voice-Over actor.  So really you can say I'm getting more radio airplay than ever before.  You might have already heard me on a few commercials if you ever listen to the radio.  I'm working on making my way into video games and then eventually animation! (ultimate goal!)

Also I do a little bit of stand-up comedy every now and then, so if you're in LA at all and are into that sort of thing, add my personal myspace and i'll let you know when and where i'm performing.

Last but not least... I'M SINGING IN A BAND!  No, it's not what you think.  This one is just for fun.  If anyone out there has ever heard of Steel Panther.. it's kind of like that... it's a comedy/cover band rock show.  We dress up, make you laugh, and rock out... it's a really fun time... so if you're in the LA area at all, come check us out.  But for now, you should ALL add my band... So last time we left you guys we told you we were going to take a break for the summer... well unfortunately, that break has become permanent. The Fire Restart has indeed broken up. We all seemed to have different ideas of where we wanted to take the band, and instead of just going for it and turning it into a thing where we would end up hating each other... we felt our friendships were much more important. SO yeah... we're still together in a sense, just not making music... together. Sorry this message has come so late... BUT there is good news. Just because we stopped making art together doesn't mean we've stopped doing it completely... so let me catch you up to speed

Emily, as you may or may not know, has been modeling all over the world, and her career is taking off. Also, her and nick are still writing music... YES! Nick is playing drums and Emily is singing and they are known as "DANA TASKER". There is a link to them on our top friends... oh yes. Definitely check them out.

Jacob is still on stage in a completely different fashion... doing stand-up comedy. He'll make an update about a myspace comedy page you can all add very soon. He also got his degree in Theatre from the University of California San Diego. He's getting ready for a move up to LA to do stand up AND get into the voice over business... for cartoons... oh yeah, keep a look out for this guy.

Dan is still shredding on guitar. He's recently joined forces with Chris Trevy (Heavy Trevy) and are jamming in a new band. We'll keep you posted on this project.

Travis is by far the smartest out of all of us... getting his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California San Diego and working his way in that field. Basically he's going to be making a lot of money some day. He's not playing bass so much anymore, but still likes to jam on guitar.

Well... let's just say things are a bit crazy right now.  Some big things are and have been happening, some good... some bad.  We aren't sure exactly what is going to happen in the future... hopefully something really good.  But, until we find out what's happening with this crazy band of ours, we are going to take a temporary brake (hey it's summer!).  So to hold you over for awhile, we put up a new song and we'll be having some merch specials very soon.  Don't miss us too much while we're gone =)

"A Secret Worth Keeping"

hey everyone! we just posted our new song, " A Secert Worth Keeping", up on our myspace and hopefully you all enjoy it!

We are VERY happy to announce that JACOB WARD (our original vocalist) is back with the fire restart FULL TIME ! we couldnt be happier !

We also found our new guitar player, Sean , to take the position of rythym guitarist.

Finally for once we are stable on both feet !

We have alot of work to finsih, including, writing our full lenght and signing to the right label, so hopefully you can help spread the word about THE FIRE RESTART any way you can.

The best would be to DOWNLOAD our songs for free and just show them to your friends. Were not trying to make money, we do this because we love it, and if you love what we do, please share it with everyone you know!

Also Emily is going overseas until the end of Febuary, but dont you worry, we will be writing a bunch of new songs and once she is back, we will release new material in March ASAP !
