I am getting tired of never seeing you around. Where have you been hiding from us all? Your face hasn’t graced us for sometime now. And the blinds in your window are always closed and no one knows why your heart ran away.

1,000 Ideals of Man

Calamity of birth, we’ve all been found of deepest darkness, curse of the ground.

Secrets that lie deep inside of me. There’s no hiding what we really are.  Secrets that fight what I long to find. But we hide…what we really are.

A white mask can’t disguise this brokenness. Look at the faces, we’re such a mess!

Time stops, calamity. My God, save me!

This is not the way it’s supposed to be. My soul is aching for something more glorious than what I see. Another smudged page is turning with a salty stain. Crooked and depraved is such an awful state…

I’m left jaded in the wake of one thousand ideals of man, but none of them can stand beneath the pressure!

A recursive paradigm, I’m still a prisoner in my own mind.

I’m Temporary

I wrestled an angel last night, til the break of day. “Please don’t go, I need to know; am I big enough to do these things? Am I strong enough to live these dreams?”

Are we brave enough to run this road? Or is it just too far ahead that no one knows?  He chose me… but what am I?

I’m temporary…but so are you.

The leaves rustled on the ground, and I found myself afraid. It’s not lack of faith, I swear. But today, I feel so inadequate. And maybe today I’ll wander but I am never lost. I’ll walk through the flames if it refines my heart, that’s so untamed. The impact causes these grave clothes to fall… so I can now be whole. As Israel who cried, “I have seen the face of God! I have seen the face of God!” Whoa…
