So - a little fun for the last month of the year: we'd like you all - and your friends - to submit a little video clip of yourself telling us one thing that will be 'big' in the next 12 months. Could be anything, but probably the first thing that springs to mind. All you do is video a clip up to 1 min long and add it to YouTube with the tag psfk2007. After 2 weeks we will go through them all, have a ponder and come up with a single film containing clips that illustrate some macro-trends that are reflected in what you are all saying in the videos. You can talk about anything. You can live anywhere (it would be nice if you let us know!) and you can do anything for a living/study. And if getting your stuff onto YouTube is a pain for you, send Jeff your clips at jeff@psfk.com. Check what people have posted so far here

We're soft launching our latest site, The Purple List. Not so much a brand new site, more like a reshuffling of information to make it easier for people to find events we'd love to go to ourselves. The Purple List aims to cover talks, conferences and even parties from across the globe. We still need to tidy it up here and there so if you feel we could make it better or just want to leave a thought - complete the Comments box below. www.thepurplelist.com

MySpaces hay-day might be over, because weve been noticing a surge in generic profiles circulating with no artistic, entertaining, or interactive elements whatsoever. It was almost assumed that the porn industry would get involved early on, but when the cheap pharmaceuticals, the refinance your mortgage, and the work-from-home schemes all entered MySpace, the fat lady started screaming.
