If you ever feel like giving yourself a huge massive headache, then change your name and move to another country. The amount of red tape/bureaucracy/general retardation has been truly astounding.
$765 in filing fees and copy costs later, I am the proud owner of a new passport with a French visa stamped for the completely wrong dates. When I questioned this at the French Embassy I was told succintly that "it doesn't matter, it's fine, the door is there." Welcome to my new world. Sigh.

Going insane trying to finish the album before I move to Paris in December. Am also music supervising a huge TV show before then too, I'm starring in four short films and trying to see as much as I can of family and friends. I need a vacation something fierce. Sigh. People seriously need to stop asking me how my French is. It's nonexistent, ok? Sorry. I'm just slightly busy trying to wrap up 10 years in New York and accomplish every lifelong goal I've ever had in the next 6 weeks. I'll learn French in frickin' France, ok? Whatevs. It can't be THAT hard, can it? ...... hmmm, can it?
