I always have some coffee beans on hand that are the "roast of the day". I don’t sell beans more than a day old. You can buy whatever amount you like of the days’ roast but if you desire a special order roast the minimum purchase is one pound.
To order your own special roast just call in your order before (9:00 AM for same day pick-up or for Next Day pick-up call any time or leave your order on the answering machine, at (315)425-0035.

He spent his first day at work and performed his duties wonderfully as the new Official Greeter however he has not yet mastered doorbelling as he has only barked once... since I have gotten him, and that was at a German Shepherd that was outside the closed door in a customer's car barking. Koro barked a few times at that and he has a very low toned bark.. like a bigger dog. He is now 6 months old and weighs 40 pounds. He is very calm confident and independent. The makings of a Great dog!!

Yes...it is true. A new dog will be enthroned on Monday March 6th, 2006. His name is Thaison at the moment, but that may change. 6 months old Retriever/Akita mix. Can be seen at www.akitarescuewny.com look for a link on the left for Akitas for adoption or available Akitas and scroll down until you see Addison (the brother of the one I am getting) and then Tyson ( I like the non-boxer spelling of Thaison)

Current mood:  melancholy
Three weeks ago he went off his normal food and became increasingly picky/wierd about what he would or would not eat. Also he developed something sounding like asthma and a shortness of breath and labored breathing at times.. he coped with that and still played some frisbee, still terrorized the customers and was, pretty much his old self. I took him to the vet on Monday and they said his heart was beating quite too fast and also skipping a beat now and then and a bit irregular. Still, that night he was chasing things in his dreams, and at work on tuesday was still barking at customers.. begging for food (though not eating it once he got it) and didnt seemed depressed though was quiter than usual and also sleeping more. I wanted more testing done but the vetrinary said he would have to be admitted and that i couldn't hang out with him and wait.. THAT would have broken his heart and killed him for sure. I had scheduled a different vet as i was concerned that he might be sick(viral, infection, etc) but by wednesday he had not drunk any water for a day and was refusing even to let me force feed him water. Still barking at customers, still enjoying being petted but too tired to get up and he slept even through his normal morning treats and play time with a few regular customers. So...it was obvious that he was shutting it down and calling it quits himself...running out of gas. i woke him to shove some sedatives down his throat that the vet had given me and though they had said it might take an hour to affect him he was sleeping VERY peacefully and with a smile and more regular breathing just 10 minutes later. I carried him to the car and didn't wake him in the process. When i asked the vet on the phone if they could come out and give him a shot in the car they said it was pouring rain and i would have to bring him in to the building, but, when i got to Oneida the the rain let up and stopped a few minutes before i pulled into the vets ...my vet came out to the car and gave him a shot never waking him and he just shut it down and drifted off. The rain started back up when i got to the thruway about 3 minutes later.. Cody got the good Karma payback all the way throuugh the end. He is buried in Manlius New York on a very nice pice of a land at a friend's house with a increasingly bigger Cairn of rocks marking his grave. Thankyou so much everyone for all the kind thoughts and words sent my way. No sorrows for Cody though... just maybe a standing ovation and a few posthumous medals of honour
