I just saw this clip and I,,m [...]

He,,s done a brilliant job designing the packing for his first CD. He built a light-based theremin and designed the track listings into the circuit board! He,,s got three different versions of [...]

This just made me laugh. There,,s nothing more nerdy than breaking down a song and making it into a flow chart. Awesome. Thanks to Jeannr and Kittymeowmeow on Tumblr.

A few years ago, Chris Anderson from Wired wrote an influential book called The Long Tail. Owen Kelly, from the The Indie Digest, put together this great chart showing the Long Tail concept and how it applies to your fans. I,,m a sucker for cool graphics, especially ones that use typography in a fun way. [...]

Les Paul, the inventor of multi-track recording, the Les Paul guitar, and the tape delay, not even to mention his amazing guitar playing and Hall of Fame-worthy music with Mary Ford, passed yesterday from complications with pneumonia. I had hopes of seeing his show in New York before he passed, but I it looks [...]

Just read a great article about how Imogen Heap is shaping the new way of doing the music business. For the past two years she,,s been working on her latest album, Ellipse, which releases on August 25. I won,,t go into all the details, you can read the article for yourself on Deep Dive Marketing. Fantasy World made it onto the Fame Games Qualifier show yesterday, just like So Easily did last week. The DJ,,s liked my vocal and liked the song, but thought the chorus was a bit weak. I,,m not really sure what that means, but there you go. I did get two reviews late last week that [...]

So I,,ve just heard ,,So Easily,, being played on the Fame Games Qualifier show. Not bad, but not great either. It appears that the bass on the intro doesn,,t come through at all, so it just sounds like that tremolo guitar part goes on forever. Everyone liked my voice, but they didn,,t [...]
